20 Best Cardio For Fat Loss And Muscle Gain (2023 Updated)

It is not as good as her Fat Blasting Yoga DVD, but it is okay once a month when anybody would like to take it easy in exercise. She is all over the place – not consistent at all. It seems like she put together random exercise moves in one DVD.

But overall Okay.

I had this DVD for a few years and for some reason it did not work right anymore. I really missed the routines so I purchased it again from Walmart. The DVD is fun and you can do one or all four routines depending on how much time you want to exercise.

I like Denise’s style and her encouraging dialogue. Some people don’t but like I said I do. Overall a fun exercise DVD.

I was not disappointed in this Denise Austin DVD. It’s hard enough to make me feel like I’ve worked out but doesn’t require too much jumping. I use it at least once a week now and look forward to it each time.

She changes moves enough so that I don’t get bored, yet doesn’t make the routines so tricky that I can’t do them. I would definitely recommend this.

This dvd is just “ok”. I’ve only done the first half (haven’t made it to the 2nd half yet as I just started it). I don’t really think it has a lot of structure to it. I feel like Jillian just “hops around” to each segment too fast.

She’s up, then its on the floor, then it up again etc. etc. Its easy enough to keep up with, but I kind of feel like even the person she has there showing how to the do the “modified” version is still doing what Jillian is doing.

I don’t feel like its a truly modified version. Guess you have to be the judge for yourself. But for me, it was just simply average. I could take it or leave it really.

I’ve been doing kettlebell over 7 years and I’m always looking for new moves. I saw this on sale at Walmart and took it for a spin. I did the first set of moves and except for 1 move, the rest didn’t impress me and I quit using it.

Trying to substitute dumbbells for kettlebells is mixing apples and oranges. Dumbbells affect 1 body part while Kettlebells affect the entire body. You’re using gravity with Kettlebells and it makes such a difference.

Do NOT get dumbbells, just start with a smaller weight. If you want a real workout, look for Art of Strength-especially their Kettlebell Clinic DVD. There you learn how to do kettlebells with proper form and LOTS of help.

If you’re an advance KB user, don’t waste your money on this DVD.

I just started working out with a kettle bell at home and thought who better to train with then Jillian? I am so happy with this DVD it is my favorite Jillian Michaels workout. It is fun to do and I definitely feel the burn.

There’s 2 levels but even with level 1 you can advance to using a heavier weight before moving to level 2.

Great exercise DVD for seniors. Easy to follow. Angie has “oldies” following along with modifications if needed. Not high powered. No pressure. Can just do a combo set instead of a full workout. No getting down on the floor or difficult moves.

Mainly standing or seated exercises. Enough variety so you don’t get bored. Very helpful to maintain senior fitness.

I have osteoarthritis and am 59 years old. I did zumba until my arthritis got to the point that i could no longer do it. Went looking for something suitable for cardio but lower impact. Got this dvd and have been doing it pretty much daily, and it is definitely helping me keep fit without causing me pain or discomfort.

The second section on strength training I cant do that well, but the whole first half of cardio is just great. Highly recommend.

While I am not a senior, I am very close to it being in my early 50’s. I have had several years of major illness ending with MAJOR surgery in December. Once I started to recover, I found I had no strength and a lot of pain with movement, most likely the beginnings of arthritis.

I tried to exercise but found I couldn’t do much without getting over tired or too much pain. I saw this DVD on Walmart. com and thought I would try one more time. WOW – I am so pleased! There are 4 different seniors doing the workouts – all at different levels so you could follow who you were most comfortable with.

The movements were simple enough to follow, yet got you moving! I am so glad I got this DVD and would recommend to anyone either in my health situation or a senior! I actually look forward to exercising now!!.

This workout is a good fundamental start for me because I had stopped exercising for a long amount of time. I would recommend buying a set of hand weights to use as well (they’re used in the workout).

The workout itself is 20 minutes and for me, that is a comforting thought. Usually, I find Jillian Michaels to be a bit annoying, but in this DVD recording, she is “less intense” (compared to what I’ve heard from her on TV).

I’ve been motivated to do this workout multiple days in a row and would like to do the next two levels of this Shred Series. I would recommend this DVD to people who are interested in getting back into exercising.

I purchased this dvd on sale for $9. 99. I began the dvd the day after I received it. I have worked out to this dvd for the past four weeks 3x’s/week and have noticed a beautiful difference in my body! I am toned, muscle definition and my friends have even noticed!! I did tweak my daily eating habits (cut out soda, drinking more water & portion foods now) & I have lost six pounds.

DVD is tough, but staying focused is key. This is not impossible! Only twenty minutes a day, I highly encourage others to give it a try!.

I have had this #workout DVD for 5 years now and it still does amazing work for me. It has motivation, energy, and a positive vibe all over. 3 different sets that progress with modifications throughout.

I still really enjoy working out to this video if I know I am not going to make it to the gym for a few days. You need a mat and small weights or water bottles for this DVD.

Been using this products for consistent weight management & great workouts. Give me awesome energy without jitters or downward crashes. I take 1 scoop a few minutes before my early morning workout and can power through a 2 hour workout with a ton of energy.

Then I’m off to work with energy that last throughout the day and into the evening. Since I eat clean-ish, and stay somewhat consistent with my workouts, I see how it helps me stay lean, not put on too much weight when I overeat, and I’m more toned.

As somebody who consumes a good bit of preworkout and who loves to venture out and try something new in addition to my usual staples every time I shop, I can say without a doubt that this is the worst pre workout I am yet to consume.

Pros: Its Cheap You can get it even cheaper on sale almost always There are multiple flavors to choose from Cons: It legitimately tastes like melted plastic mixed in with your given flavor. The pump is what you’d expect from a cheap pre workout.

The texture isn’t right. It doesn’t fully blend into water, and if you shotgun you’ll hate it even more. All in all I’d rate this firmly as a ‘steer clear from’ pre workout. Even at the price point, it just outright isn’t good.

Was buying this product for many years, was super pleased and satisfied! But this last time was very disappointed! Product would not mix well, leaving small white balls, which taste very bad, like chemicals! Also, this time I did not feel effect, which used to have it before! I am 49 and my go-to exercise routine for the past 30 years was running and going to the gym. Two years ago, I got burnt out on running and with the demands of family and work, it was difficult getting to the gym.

I first saw the Teeter LT3 on a shopping channel in Dec 2020. I was intrigued. I researched it by reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube, and decided to purchase the LT3 in Dec 2021. I am so glad I did.

My main concern was that it might not be as good of a workout since it seemed to be designed with people with joint issues or surgeries in mind, but that is not the case. Thanks to my Samsung exercise app, I compared my Teeter workouts with past workouts at the gym, including both the elliptical and the exercise bike.

I burn more calories using the Teeter than either or those for the same period of time. Customer service was excellent too. The Teeter LT3 was delivered with a week of ordering it (from Washington state to Tennessee), even during peak holiday ordering time and supply chain issues.

The seat was minimally damaged during shipping (a small crack in the cushioning), and I contacted customer service via email over the weekend after receiving it, and a new seat was shipped and received with 3 days.

I am glad I spent a little more to get the LT3 for the upgrades. I’ve not used the LT1, but the upgrades are worth it to me. It is a quality machine. Before purchasing the LT3, I did look at exercise bikes and ellipticals in local stores and they were not of the quality of the LT3.

I love the convenience of being able to work out in my home and watch what I want while I do it. The Teeter really is as silent as they say, and it is also a great investment because I know it will be equipment I can use for years to come even if I one day do develop joint issues or surgeries.

Who uses it? Both me, 80 year old male with bad knees and bad shoulders 94 year old mother-in-law with hip replacement. Packaging: Well organized but outer box could be heavier. No way to reuse it if you want to return it.

Tetter said they would send a new box if I wanted to ship it back. Items were well identified and labeled. Assembly: Forget about using the included tool, unless you want to make it a lifetime project.

I used an electric impact driver and a small offset Philips ratchet which made it easy. A hand ratchet with hex driver is minimum. All parts fit reasonably well and instructions were very good. About one hour assembly time.

(I saw one review that stated things didn’t fit well, but also said his box was damaged. Probable got dropped and bent a bit) Quality: Very good. I’m impressed with how sturdy this thing is. Well made.

Operation: Very smooth and consistent. No noise. Resistance setting is nonlinear, I. e. , increases faster the higher you go. The seat extends a bit too far under your legs and rubs a bit. The hand bar adjustments are a bit of a pain, but manageable.

the readout is okay, but you need to memorize the segments, as their labels are tiny. Use: 94 year old uses it 3 times a day. calls it her bicycle. loves it. Me; going slow so as not to irritate my shoulders.

I’ve read through most of the reviews on this and decided to do one of my own usually I don’t but oh well. Aside from the taste (it’s the worst tasting product I’ve used ahaha) this supplement really accents my workouts very well.

I don’t get the tingles (which I actually enjoy) or a large pump, but the amount of energy the I consistently have throughout the workout is VERY noticeable. I usually tend to do heavy weight low reps maybe 4 sets of 7, but with this I’ve found it turning more into a cardio/ heavy workout session I guess I don’t really know how to explain it well but if your looking for something that will get you through a long hard workout this is definitely the pre workout to use.

On the matter of weight loss I can’t say much other than it might be the endurance leading to a more likely chance to lose weight I have no clue never noticed much of a difference in that. Overall it’s a very good pre workout that I cycle in on a regular basis.

I was really excited to try this product because it claims to give you so much energy faster metabolism and fat burner. First of all the mango flavored is amazing! Taste delicious! You do get a pump maybe like the first 30min but after you get a huge crash your head starts hurting you get so lazy less motivated really groggy and ugh it’s just a nasty feeling.

It’s a no for me! I’m still in the search for a good preworkout that wont itch or give you a nasty crash. Next product I’ll be trying is 1st phorm megawatt pre workout.

I didn’t get jitters or feel an extreme boost of energy. Although once my work out is going, this pre-workout definitely helps push me farther and sweat more. I’d closely compare it to C4 Ripped, except the Ripped seems to give me more motivation to work out.

The Peach Mango flavor of Cardio Cuts is good, but very strong. It recommends mixing one scoop with 6-8 oz of water. I mix it with more like 12 oz and ice to water it down further. Just personal preference there.

Can’t say a whole lot about the weight loss function of this product as that is not my goal. All in all, I would purchase again.

Like many serious lifters who have blown through many a Buck and supplement Brands, searching for just the right “motivation” from their pre-workout; C4 is your final stop on the pre-workout merry-go-round!! Yes, I know that sounds rather cliche’ but, C4 truly delivers just the right balance of stimulation/motivation to get through even the most brutal workouts! Because I train in the morning, sometimes I am so tired, I wonder how I’m going to get through my leg day training? I got the strawberry watermelon flavor. I’ve used c4 sport, ripped, and original before i tried this one. The first time I used it, my whole face was tingling from the beta alanine. I’ve used it a few more times with no further side effects.

I use c4 to get through my cardio. It’s amazing. I feel great during the workout and feel really good afterwards. No exhaustion or soreness. The only thing I don’t like is the flavor, but everyone has different tastes.

I definitely recommend this product to anyone that wants to push harder without feeling drained afterwards.

Everyone is different, and the way our bodies process preworkout supplements is a testament to this. However, I have found the C4 Ultimate Shred works well for my everyday gym needs. I have been using the product for over a month with good results.

One of the best features is that my body temperature only rises during my workout. Unlike thermogenics, I am not sitting on the couch sweating at home while recovering. The strawberry watermelon flavor is not bad either.

It does get old after 30 days, but I just switched to icy blue razz. Pretty good preworkout overall. At least for me, I’d say it works well! Just recently I paired the C4 Shred with Bucked Up Pump. The additional benefits of NO2 and Glycerol Powder should offer a great muscle swell.

We will see in a few weeks. At least the blue raz Bucked Up tastes almost the same as the C4 Shred icy blue razz.

Great stuff! I used the old and the new formula (not sure the formula changed much, but the packaging did). It works! I try to incorporate a 60 minutes cardio work-out during, and I am using this product during.

The first 20 minutes just fly by, and you stay very focused. The other 20 are more gruesome, but you manage to push through. I think CI gives you the extra umph! The last 20 minutes you tap into your reserves, and usually you are able to do a semi-sprint in the last 5 minutes or so.

There is just this rush of energy. DON’T over do it though! I usually use a scoop and a quarter. You don’t get the jitters, but anything more than – you feel the heart in the chest (rate is usually elevated over by 10-20 bpm than what it should be).

This is by far one of the greatest supplements ever made. I take this before any endurance activity. I take it when i run marathons, mud runs or any cardio day. It has replaced my energy drinks when i do physical activities.

Where do I start with this gem? I opened the box and it looked like whomever packed it had raided the dumpster for cardboard scraps and just chucked them in the box. The base was better, but everything else was just there.

I opened the box and started assembling. I started noticing that almost every single plastic part in the box had some sort of damage. The metal portion the control box sits on was bent. And somehow the flywheel had surface rust on it.

Given the trouble it took just to get it into the basement, I decided to carry on. There was a plastic piece of a bushing torn, and a metal bushing split in half during assembly. I was able to get the thing functioning and emailed ProForm.

They wanted pictures and stuff. Fine. Replacement parts were ordered and arrived. Unfortunately, not everything I needed was there (packing hadn’t improved). I begin to replace what I had. And that’s when I began to find more damage.

I still got what I could back on the machine. It went from being almost quiet (there was a clunking I couldn’t ever track down), to a plastic on plastic scraping nightmare. It was, at that point, that I was done and decided to go with another brand.

It’s a shame. If everything had worked the way it was supposed to, it was a nice machine. Or it seemed that way. So I guess take your chances? I don’t know. My experience wasn’t that great.

We bought a proform elliptical ze6 about 8 years ago that we really liked becuase of the long stride length but it worked with ball bearings and decided to die this year. It was really hard to go out and try new equipment (COVID plus lack of showroom availability) so we bought this online.

It definitely has a different feel. Even though it looks very similar the motion is more up and down than stride and feels more like a stair climber. It has a tablet screen that you cannot turn off on the screen.

In order to turn it off you have to hit the reset button on the bottom of the machine, which is somewhat annoying. The magnetic wheel seems to provide more resistance even at the lowest setting, good and bad.

But becuase it is magnetic it is also super quiet.

Truly dreadful experience with Fitness Superstore. My Eliptical trainer never worked from the moment it was delivered. It took me almost 5 weeks to get them to issue a refund. They are merely dropshippers, and any problems you may have with your equipment is referred to the manufacturer then they wash their hands of it.

(in direct contravention of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 may I add). They do not have engineers, they do not have professional installers (the manufacturer does that) so whilst the majority of sales may go well ,be warned that if it goes wrong you are on your own.

I have always liked working out with Denise Austin. This DVD is a well rounded workout. I love it! This is one thing that I am not impressed with, the power band. This is a bonus item with the dvd. It is required for the workout.

The band is cheap and sticks together. You can get a resistant band at a local store for about $5. 00 to $8. 00 that will work just as good. All in all this is a great workout!.

I loved this product because the exercises are easy to do for the average person but at the same time challenging enough to give you results. Denise Austin encourages you and makes you want to continue exercising.

This DVD includes a cardio exercise to do three times a week and a strength training segment to do the other two days a week. Purchased new it comes with a bright resistance band as well. The only thing I would caution buyers about is that it does have some sequences in it that if you’re not very coordinated it could be tricky.

The sequences are pretty basic though. I highly recommend this product to anyone and am very satisfied with my purchase.

Its a good, all over workout. The cardio isnt too difficult. The second half, which uses the band more, is a good workout. The band wasnt strong enough. I bought mine here, used, so the band may have been used, but it looked pretty new.

I would recommend a heavier band than the one it comes with. Again, I’m not sure about the band I got in my dvd, but it was not strong enough. I usually workout with 4 lb weights to give you an idea of what I’m comparing this band to.

Initially, it lifted my mood and I thought it was about to make me feel great. Had a sense of well-being, started a few phone calls and projects, being a little nicer to people than usual. Then about an hour in, I felt out of control of everything and was irritated by the little things, or people who weren’t on my level at the moment.

I had the same problems with Adderall as im labeled as ADD/ADHD, so my mood swings is why I stopped taking that. I was not trying to replace a stimulant I was just generally curious about pre workout.

Idk, maybe I didn’t take enough, or vice versa. But I think I’ll only be taking this while I’m alone. My other comment would be it made me itchy for the first 40 minutes. Not like itchy in the sense I wanted to scratch, but a strange prickly sensation.

Definitely interested in trying a different kind, one thing I do like is that I don’t feel nervously caffeinated like I expected. Another positive is that I think it tastes good. The last positive is that I got a can for less than three dollars at Meijer, it was a mistake but that’s all it scanned up for.

GARBAGE. Why this is so hyped as “the best” pre workout is ridiculous. Look at the ingredients – all of the vitamins & minerals amounts are so small they’re useless. As for the sport performance blend / sport energy blend – a creative way of listing ingredients without actual amounts.

The performance blend is no where near the amounts needed to make any difference plus you’d have to take them every day to actually work. The energy blend is a joke – Taurine is the 1st ingredient listed & the cheapest.

135 mg of caffeine is no where near an amount to really give you a jolt of energy. Don’t waste your money on this. It’s completely useless. I give it ZERO STARS if it let me!.

WOW!!! Is this a magic portion??? lol I was feeling super tired for couple of years. I am 56. I since I had it today and did treadmill for 25, then some good stretching. A lot of sweating, went to shopping, did cooking, cleaned house and stills going! I am positive I won’t have heart palpitation during my sleep as I took it easy.

However, the boost this gave was like back ten years ago when I used to do Capoeira lol I had Fruit punch which was super delicious and a little after the taste, but it is nothing. It goes away after you drink a little water.

I am used to caffeine and this one got my going pretty and NO JITTERS. I had a nice steak and rice after workout to make sure I filled up. Have good time ya’ll! ; ).

I am 76 years old. I started taking Cardio Peak 3 years ago when I was having angina pain upon exertion. The problem cleared up within 2 weeks. I take it daily. Even better – My 78 year old brother was diagnosed with congestive heart failure almost 2 years ago.

This product is a must. Especially since I am learning about the timing of nutrition being a key factor. My only suggestion when putting into application is that as the user you use room temperature water.

It can be difficult to get used to the dissolving rate of this item. I’ll use one or two scoops depending on how long the workout out. I will be stacking this with the L-CITRULLINE I belive to see how well the veins open up.

First of all, the package (jug) needs work. I’m not Andre the giant over here and i can’t get my hands into the jug without a good deal of scraping my knuckles. I ALWAYS have to transfer to a different jug (Karbolyn 2lb, HUGE opening).

As for the product itself, i love it. Great flavors and i can tell its the real deal HBCD because during my workout sessions i’d be very aware of any blood sugar drop and using this there hasn’t been any issues.

Gives me that extra boost of fuel to keep going.
