I’ve Heard this tea described as smooth, complex, delicate, and I would mostly agree with that, but you could also say that this tea has no character and doesn’t stand for anything. Complex and delicate are words that in my opinion are better suited for a Darjeeling first flush.

I like my Assams and my Darjeeling second flushes to be strongly defined. Take my first two favorite second flush teas for example. On one hand you have Giddapahar Estate which I hope will be available on this website someday.

It’s very robust with toasty peach cobbler undertones. Amazing, then you have the Imperial Muscatel which is very available and popular on this website. It has that grape/ stone fruit musk flavor with a little burnt Molases in there somewhere.

So good. Then you have this tea, which is sort of robust but in a delicate way. It is definitely smooth with some honey flavor on the back end. I definitely think this tea is overpriced by $10. I was going to say to save your money, but then something unexpected happened.

When I was having my little taste off between these three teas. I finished the Giddapahar and I then combined the Imperial Muscatel with this tea ( Summer Gold) in my Contigo cup to go outside and start doing chores.

Instead of a muddled flavor these two teas elevated each other and became almost something else entirely. I could still taste that muscatel flavor but at the same time it was a little more robust, along with being smooth and complex.

This combination has now become my new favorite Darjeeling even over the Giddapahar somehow. So now the choice is yours. Save your money or go all in, for a very special blend!.

Really love this robust black tea that is not bitter but smooth and satisfying. Wonderfully fresh. Steeping of course to your taste. I have yet to get a “bad” tea or tisane from Vahdam but of course there are some I favor over others.

Loose teas and tisanes are fairly new to me but it has been an adventure that keeps bringing new discoveries and enjoyment far beyond my teabag world. I did start out with teabags from Vahdam which are superior to many others I’ve had before moving on to loose varieties.

I have to be honest, I didn’t know anything about Cardamom before buying this tea and as such, I really wasn’t sure what to expect flavor wise. I am a big fan of cinnamon and pepper as long as the there is just a hint of pepper and not a really strong pepper flavor.

I wound up having my gall bladder removed as it was literally 100% full of stones. The surgeon who took out my gall bladder said it was one of the worst he had seen in some time and had I kept it in much longer, he said there is no doubt that it would have gone septic and then I would have been in big trouble.

Anyways, I had my gall bladder removed and I did feel better for the first 4-6 weeks after the surgery, but then I started having food intolerances that caused the bloating ad stomach pain and it got worse and worse as time went on.

At first I thought it was just my body adjusting to no longer having my gall bladder, but it became clear that wasn’t the case. The last couple years have been pretty brutal in regards to my stomach and eating and since the doctors really can’t seen to figure out whats wrong, I started looking into various herbs, teas, and pretty much anything else I could find food wise that helps promote a healthy gut and fights inflammation.

It also described as having delicate notes of cinnamon, black pepper and clove, but again Cardamom is the main flavor for this tea and again its described as a full bodied tea so if I wound up disliking the taste of Cardamom, I likely would have hated this tea.

Well, to say I was pleasantly surprised would be a massive understatement. I purchased a 3 box pack from Amazon like 4 weeks ago and I am already down to my last few tea bags and just placed a replacement order.

It has a fantastic flavor and you can definitely taste a very subtle flavor of pepper and cinnamon. In no time at all Its quickly become one of my absolute favorite teas. Traditionally its prepared with only milk, but I actually drink this a bit differently than suggested.

Oh and for the review that said it “burns going down” I find this is not at all true, however due to the subtle black pepper ingredient, if you leave the tea bag in and not take it out after the recommended 7 min, it will make the tea tastes stronger including that black paper ingredient, tho I’ve never had it be so strong that it burns and I like to leave the bag in.

I was first given this tea by my Japanese friend. It has been the only green tea I drink since. It is healthy with antioxidants and mild in taste profile. I add some pomegranate juice into it and am set for the day.

Wow, the fact that they have this tea on here. I literally thought no one knew about this. Sooo my roommate bought this tea at Marshall’s or Ross? I forget. We only drank this tea when we wanted to “cleanse”, or felt super bloated, or were constipated because it is potent.

I definitely DO NOT recommend taking this tea everyday because let me tell you, those bowel movements start working fast. My roommate and I experienced cramps and we felt like we were going to die curled up in the fetal position LOL but it honestly does clean you out insanely.

The tea does not taste good at all, just going to put that out there. I would have to pinch my nose and just chug the tea. I suggest adding honey or maybe even some lemon in it to help. This tea is not going to help you loose fat!!!! These detox teas combine caffeine and diuretics and also give a laxative effect, which is just going to clean out your system completely and de-bloat you so that you have a flatter tummy.

This detox tea says it has no caffeine but does contain Senna which gives the laxative effect but can also cause cramping. I honestly suggest doing your research and making sure you know the ingredients in your detox tea as well as the side effects.

Ok so the first night I took the tea I woke up six hours later doubled over (like a bad period pain or trapped wind nothing you cant handle) then I went to the toilet. The tea bags are packaged in a very strong non-porous bag that seals in freshness. This tea has a great taste and isn’t fruity or fru-fru spice like tea. The best way I can describe this tea is the way a coffee drinker does about black coffee.

I love this tea and look forward to drinking it everyday as an afternoon treat. It is on the pricey side and for me just a little too sweet so to make it last longer, I mix half of a packet with 3/4ths a teaspoon of Ujido Ceremonial Blend Matcha (which isn’t sweetened).

This way, I get 20 servings out of a box rather than 10 and the sweetness isn’t over the top. I add my two Ujido powders to 10-12oz of “Simply Almond Unsweetened Vanilla” almond milk and drink it cold – delish! I haven’t tried this drink warm yet because it’s summertime; but when it gets chilly out, I look forward to finding a good mix for a hot drink.

Ujido quality is excellent, pure and smooth. Vitacost’s price on the 16 oz is a little better than other sites’. This item particularly is only 12oz and the price is higher for its supposed to be top quality.

The first brew of the organic green tea he said was something he was missing since his stock of tea sourced from Kangra had finished. He was forced to make do with locally sourced tea, and the teabox consignment has brought him back his fondness for the brew.

Quality and flavour is just perfect! However, I have a suggestion in packaging material that has been used. SILKEN are hazardous! Please replace that with something which is eco friendly and completely food grade in hot water.
