I’ve had this blowout styling brush since 2018 when I traded in my Revlon for an upgrade. It’s been working perfectly all this time (4 years and counting) very reliable! I have fine thin damaged (highlighted) hair down to my mid-back, so I like the larger brush on this tool to give a sleek result.
After shampoo&conditioner and towel dry, I first use L’anza Trauma Treatment as a leave-in then I follow with L’anza Neem Plant Silk Serum for the blowout. This is the duo that gives me the most shine and sleekness with the Hot Tools styling brush, all the way to the ends of my hair.
I dry my hair in smaller sections and try to move as fast as I can, because this brush gets very hot. It’s like the Revlon brush, there is no in-between temperature. It’s either too hot and I boil my hair, or not hot enough and I end up with frizz.
So I try to keep it moving as quickly as I can, but even with the high-quality heat protectants and careful drying my hair ends up with split ends and I need regular haircuts to control the damage. They really need to implement a ‘medium heat’ setting.
BTW I also bought the Hot Tools interchangeable charcoal styling brush with the smaller head a couple of years ago, and that one also has the same issue of running too hot or too cold for my fine thin hair.
So if ever a brand comes out with one that’s ‘just right’ in terms of temperature I’ll probably ditch these. But in the meantime they’re so much better than the Revlon volumizing brush, as the Hot Tools have a mix of boar bristles and the Revlon is all plastic.
My hair looks much better after drying with the Hot Tools brushes. I just wish they would fix the temperature problems.
I have thick, dry, curly hair that is a pain to style. Blow drying has always been my least favorite step of my hair care routine and I usually end up smoothing my hair out with a flat iron because I am awful at doing blowouts at home.
I got my hair done in October, and really wanted to have the same silkiness and bounce my stylist gave me but for the life of me could never get my hair that sleek (I suck at doing my own hair, really).
I am so glad I decided to buy this thing because I went from looking like a total MESS to like I have a personal stylist. No more pringle chip ends going three different ways! No more wavy roots and smooth center hairs! My hair dried in minutes and it was like a revelation: shiny, smooth, bouncy! Not dry, dull, heavy, and lifeless like before.
Fair warning, this baby gets H O T. Hot enough that it did sting my ears occasionally and sometimes if you get too close to your face it is uncomfortable. My advice if you invest in this – get you a really good heat protectant as well, like the best you can afford, because I have heard about these dryer brushes damaging people’s hair if you are not careful and did notice a little bit of smoking and some dryness in places, but not as bad as I am used to.
Also, detangle with a paddle brush before drying because I occasionally got it caught on random snags and knots can damage the bristles. Clean it everytime you use it, too. Other than that, if you are struggling to give yourself professional-style blowouts with a regular brush and dryer, buy this, and thank me later.
First of all, I never write reviews. I literally stopped styling my hair halfway through to write this review. That’s how passionate I am about what I’m going to say. I couldn’t wait. Lol. This product works.
It delivers what it says it will do and my long hair looks awesome in half the time. However, and this is a BIG issue. the handle is huge and uncomfortable to hold. I work out, lift weights, do hot yoga and and am in no way “weak.
” So for me to say that the handle is heavy and a burden is a big deal. Also keep in mind you have to hold the handle and manipulate it and roll it through your hair one section at a time – that’s a lot of work.
Your hand/wrist/forearm isn’t passive as it would be just holding the handle of a hair dryer for instance. So yes this products styles your hair in half the time BUT I often have to take breaks and rest my arm before I can finish my hair.
Hope this helps someone and if you are in any way weak in the arms/shoulder area you need to seriously consider if this product is right for you.
Ditch the separate blow-dryer and styling brush. Le Volume is like having a volumizing round brush and high speed hair dryer in one. Smooth, tug-resistant bristles grip the hair, giving you just the right amount of tension to create sleek styles with maximum body and lift.
Adjustable airflow lets you control the heat and speed while the titanium barrel gently smooths hair to shiny, frizz-free perfection. Now you can craft the perfect blowout with one easy-to-use styling tool.
I so wanted this to be as fabulous as the demonstrated videos I watched on FB. Apparently the promoter’s so called “fine” hair is not so fine after all. I used all the same products she used and my hair came out with slight volume that went totally flat within 15 minutes.
I had the cheaper version of this volumizing drying brush by “R” and it worked just the same and I returned it to purchase this one because of all the reviews on this product. I gave it a 3 stars rather than a zero because if you want straight hair, this tool will do the job so not a total loss but its a definite no to volume that will last if you have fine hair.
I made a huge purchase for the black Friday deals. I was so excited when the box arrived. I washed my hair using the products I just purchased. I used all the products that were recommended for fine hair to thicken and add volume.
The volumizer product just squirts liquid no foam no matter how long I shook it. The other products did nothing for my hair. All the products I use by “K**ra” work far better than these. Can’t return any thing because they had this small print stating because of this sale no items are returnable.
So buyer beware. If you want to try their products, I suggest reading all the print before you purchase so you can return if it doesn’t work for you. I’ll have to try and sell them to try and recoup some of my money.
I’m new to L’ange, but took the plunge and ordered this 75mm brush. I have always used a round brush and blow dryer, or a cheap electric stying brush, with decent results, so I wasn’t expecting too much of a difference.
I have long, thin, fine hair that only holds volume for about 30 minutes no matter if I use product or not. When my order arrived, very timely, I will say, I was super impressed with the beautiful packaging and immediately gave the volume brush a shot.
My hair was towel dried damp, not dripping. Brush has different bristles than any I have had before – sturdy, but no pulling or tangling, glides through hair easily. This is a noticeable and valuable feature, especially for someone who wishes to keep the hair she has! Brush heats up faster than a gas stove and has several heat settings.
The airflow is strong as well. This brush is big and oval shaped, not round. Adds beautiful, smooth volume, but not tight or defined curl, so it depends on what you are after. I like the oval shape as it let’s me get that bit of poof at the crown of my head.
My hair dried soft, smooth, ends slightly turned under, crown/top of head had just enough body and volume. I used a bit of hairspray and was extremely surprised that I still had “poof” several hours later.
I love this brush and I am so happy I decided to give L’ange a try!.
Click, style, and detach Great for mid to long hair Detachable head design makes this the perfect travel hair dryer and provides easy storage for those on-the-go and easy home organizing. Easily detach the hair dryer head by using the easy release button Revolutionary hair dryer with a unique H7 oval design that helps you craft gorgeous blowouts in one-step Unique activated charcoal-infused bristles that work to neutralize odors and absorb toxins while you style.
I have used the Revlon equivalent of this brush dryer for a couple of years. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve used my regular blow dryer in that time frame. I can almost emulate a salon blow out (I say almost because the man who does my blow outs is freakin awesome).
Now, there are some things you have to realize going in. You should let your hair either air dry at least 50% or more or use a regular blow dryer first. It will take much longer to style your hair if you start with a soaking wet head.
My routine is to wash my hair at night and let it air dry a while. Spray hair with a heat protectant. Than I use this volumizer to get body, volume, and shiny hair. Usually, I brush and go the next morning.
Worse case is I need a bit of a touch up. Again, I spray heat protectant. Run this baby through my hair a few times. It only takes 2 or 3 minutes max. And I’m out the door. Yes, it is loud. Yes, it takes a bit of getting used to.
But my hair is so much healthier since I’m not using nearly the amount of heat I used to with a blow dryer and a flat iron to reduce frizz. I get my hair colored a vibrant red every 6 to 8 weeks so damage and fade out are always things I need to be aware of.
My color stays fresh for a much longer period of time. I will never go back to my regular blow dryer and brush routine. This has made life so much easier. And my hair has never been healthier and never looked better.
When strangers compliment you on your gorgeous hair, well, that is a bonus!.
I’ve never tried a product like this before, so I was really excited when I was gifted this. I was actually gifted the larger (normal) size and ended up exchanging for the smaller size. I have shoulder length hair and the larger was a little too difficult to use.
Here’s what I’ve learned: Slow and steady will give you really nice results. It works very quickly. I also loved how much volume it gave me-I have really flat hair so that’s always a plus for me. As others noted, it’s quite loud on the “cool” and “high” settings.
I am actually fine on the “low” setting – not too loud, not too much heat, and it still gives the results I want, but I have fine straight hair, so that may not working for everyone.
This is the best product for natural hair. I am 3c/4a in texture and this made my hair super smooth and straight. All I had to do was lightly follow it up with my flatiron. Also the brush isn’t too hot or uncomfortable and I used it on the highest heat setting.
I did use 100% argan oil as a heat protectant and got awesome results. I sectioned my hair into 6 sections and was able to quickly go through it without my arms getting tired. My crown or the thickest part of my hair got super smooth too.
When I was done my hair felt like I had been to a Dominican salon. I definitely recommend this. I may have to replace the brush head after multiple uses but this to me was worth everything I paid for it.

Just bought it and tried it out and absolutely freaking love it!! I debated between this and the conair infinity pro, but got this as the brush does not move and I figured it was less for me to screw up if I got my hair tangled!!! Lol.
The Revlon hot air brush was perfect. I have medium thick fine hair that has natural waviness bordering on frizzy curls. This straightened it out beautifully and I didn’t need two appliances to get the result.
I used a hair serum to help with the drying and it is just wonderful and easy!! Highly recommend.
I love this Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer. I am not good at styling my own hair at all. This hair dryer allows me to style my shoulder length hair similar to how my hairdresser styles my hair.
I love how my hair looks after using this hair dryer. I used to use a regular hair dryer and a round brush. My hair would get frizzy with no volume. With this hair dryer my hair does not get frizzy and there is volume.
The hair dryer is big and a little bulky, but it is well worth it. Sure beats trying to use a regular hair dryer in one hand and a brush in the other hand. The hair dryer does run a little hot, so I found you have to hold it a certain way or use it with one hand which can be tiring.
My hair drying time is about the same as with the prior way I dried my hair, but with this hair dryer I get much better results. This hair dryer is great for people like me who are not good at styling hair.
This is the first product that I purchased that has actually helped me to style my hair so it looks good. I get many compliments after using this hair dryer. I’ve had the hair dryer for a couple of months now and I still love it.
I admit that I am a hairproduct junkie. I am an over 60 yo woman with very thick, coarse, shoulder length color treated hair which has a slight wave, tends to frizziness. I am pretty adapt with the blow dryer and various brushes (okay, I have 8 different brushes that I use depending on the weather, style I want that day, etc) My battle that I have not been able to fix is getting a good smooth blowout in Chicago summer high humidity.
I am anxious to try it this summer, but I think this will be a great success–I am very impressed with this item so far. WARNING, there is a bit of a learning curve, be patient! And also, my blowdryers tend to always be about 1800 watts, I thought that this might not be powerful enough at 1100–it gets the hair REALLY HOT and might not be the best choice for someone with thin hair.
It DOES have a cool setting that might work. The results I get from this are the very best I have ever achieved on my own. I am very pleased and suggest if you are hesitating, to give this a try. Also, using my BB&B 20% gives the very best price you will find anywhere.
This vented blow-dry brush is Tangle Teezer’s newest innovation that delivers a fast and easy blow-dry. The patented teeth technology and unique configuration quickly dries the hair, delivering natural volume, lift and smoothness.
The teeth and vent work together for an easy, frizz-free style that’s done your way, on your terms. The shape of the innovative teeth mean theres no need for the brush to contact the dryer to create tension – the teeth do this all by themselves.
Keep the dryer at a safe distance from the brush while drying ensuring less heat damage, but the same flawless results. Not suitable for detangling.
I will preface this review on this complimentary product with the following: I have been an avid Wet Brush user and loyal customer for the past 8 years-ish, so my experience with this Tangle Teezer brush is compared against Wet Brush brushes.
👍⭐️ Star: The appearance of this Tangle Teezer is pretty. The color is a pretty purple with black, pointed bristles. It has a nice weight to it and isn’t heavy. It is heavier than a few of the Wet Brushes I currently own.
⭐️⭐️ Star: It’s a hairbrush. It serves its purpose and detangles my hair as well as both my girls’ hair too. Although I’m not sure my hair dried any quicker using it? 👎NEGATIVES (in my opinion): 1. The bristles are so pointy.
The first time brushing my hair, I scratched my scalp upon contact; it hurt and I learned. 2. On the box, it states “Super Quick Blow-Dry” as it is “The Ultimate Vented Hairbrush Large. ” I was so ready to use it with my hair dryer, but upon further reading, the box also states, “.
please avoid placing the nozzle of the hair dryer directly onto the teeth of the hairbrush. ” WELP, that was disappointing. If I’m gong to blow dry my hair and use a hairbrush, I like to use the hairbrush almost in a blowout manner.
I made do and followed the directions for this product. For these reasons and maybe more, I give it 1 star. I do not recommend this product and will stick to my favorite brand, Wet Brush.
I used to have an eco tools hair brush with a similar design which was amazing for drying my thick long hair. Unfortunately after years of use the bristles had worn away slightly and I was looking for a replacement, and like all good things of course it had to come to an end and eco tools decided to stop making them or at least I could not find them anywhere in stores or online.
So I searched for a brush that was most like it, and for a couple of years there was absolutely nothing similar then tangle teezer came out with this and I was so excited. On my first use I knew straight away that it was a failure.
The brush itself including the bristles is rock hard, so much so that it scratches your scalp to pieces, and that’s in between your hair getting caught in the bristles and being ripped out. I don’t have a sensitive head in any way, so I gave it a couple of chances but there was no way that it was bearable.
It visibly scratches the scalp and it can not be healthy to pull the hair out, so the product itself should be looked into. Even if it’s a faulty one, tangle teezer should not be allowed to let faulty brushes sold to the public as I’ve seen other reviews from people who have had similar experiences.
Coming from someone who has very very thick hair I can appreciate a product that helps speed up the drying time. I’ve used a vast variety of hair brushes but always seem to gravitate towards my Wet Brush.
Having thick hair I always buy brushes that can withstand the heat of a blow dryer. This brush was created for an effortless and smooth finish. Here’s what you need to know •This brush was created with special teeth (bristle) technology and unique configuration to ensure a faster drying time •Between the teeth of the brush and vented technology they work together to create and deliver natural volume.
Along with lift and a beautiful smooth look •A huge bonus from this product is, it’s designed to be used with your blow dryer on the low setting to prevent heat damage •This product states it is not suitable for detangling but I found it to work effortlessly on wet hair •Keep in mind if you have a sensitive scalp and would like to try this product to apply a small amount of pressure! I highly recommend this product if you have been on the fence about it this is your sign!.
Boost your bangs, smooth and volumize thin hair, bring out the bounce and shine with the Osensia Round Hair Brush. It’s an ideal choice if you’re dealing with baby-fine or very short hair. Made of space-age ceramic for strength and lightweight, its comfort is enhanced by the ergonomic, cushioned handle.
Vents provide even airflow throughout the length, reducing drying time and providing consistent results. The ionic mineral-infused bristles not only detangle, but they’re also antistatic, preventing flyaway hair.
The result is the maximum volume that stays all day. The ceramic ion hair brush includes a built-in parting tool so that you can work on one section at a time, just like in a salon blowout. Simply draw it along your scalp to part your hair.
This round hairbrush is suitable for all gender styles.
Truly an amazing, five star round brush. Will be purchasing more in additional sizes. Perfection. Couldn’t ask for anything better. No hair caught in weird grooves that pulls out strands, great grip, easily pulls through hair, but also has some grip to it.
Hair is always silky smooth and can’t stop touching it after using this brush to dry my hair. I recently cut my hair into a sharp-edged long bob—shortest pieces are barely below my natural hair line on the nape of my neck and longest pieces are about mid-way between shoulders and bottom of ears.
Ever since the chop, I’ve found it impossible to style my hair using the round brushes I previously used which were 1-2 inches in diameter. I was on the hunt for a smaller brush, found this on amazon and after reading the reviews, decided to give it a whirl.
I am by no means a hair expert. I just wanted a big round brush that would help me better style my hair. I looked at a bunch and decided on this one because of the price and reviews. I was not disappointed! I was worried the bristles would be scratchy, but they’re actually kind of soft.
I also appreciate that they don’t have those plastic tips that always wear away. The barrel does retain heat really easily – so be careful handling after you blow-dry. I also recommend using a heat protectant (it really gets hot).
Biggest plus is that my hair doesn’t look all fluffy or staticky after I blow it out. I have a lot of fine hair, so fluffiness is always an issue. Not with this brush! I have volume with a sleek finish that we all strive for.
Style as you dry with the Infiniti Pro by Conair Hot Air Paddle Brush Styler. This hot brush is professional stylist preferred and the results are smooth, frizz-free blowouts every time! No need to dry, simply section or brush hair before use and eliminate the use of a dryer or brush.
Includes three types of bristles. The detangling bristles make drying easier, the silicone bristles add shine, and the nylon bristles guide hair for styling control. For best results: start at the ends and work your way to the roots until hair is tangle free and fully dry.
For added root lift and volume: place the heated brush underneath the hair section close to the roots with the bristles pointing upward. Use your other hand to pull the hair section taut against the silicone base until the bristles penetrate through the hair.
The ion generator reduces frizz and enhances shine for gorgeous, smooth, frizz-free styles! 2 heat settings offer high heat for thick hair to be styled and low heat for fine/damaged hair while the cool setting sets in styles.
Place paddle brush under hair, close to roots with bristles pointing up. Pull hair taut and glide brush through hair. For added root lift and volume, hold the paddle brush at roots for a couple of seconds before gliding down.
Reviews From Real Customers
I love this thing! I have a straightening comb brush and almost didn’t buy this since it seemed similar but it was so worth it. I would pay twice as much for this. It makes it easy to dry my hair and straightens it.
It doesn’t give me a straightener style straightening, which is good, because I still want body and texture. I can wear my hair just like it comes out. If I do want sleek, it takes no time to run a straightener over it because it’s already smoothed out.
This also lets me go like 3 days between washes. My hair looked awesome on the third day (with a spritz of dry shampoo). It also takes up very little space, which was unexpected. I can’t recommend this enough if you have curly/wavy hair that takes a while to straighten.
I love my curly hair, but this gives me the ability to do my hair the night before without taking an hour or more, and the next morning I can wake up and go. I flip my head over for most of the drying (same as a blow dryer) and that seems to give me a good smooth but voluminous look.
My hair the second day looked like I had styled it.
I honestly love this blow dryer! I have natural hair and it made blow drying easier and had good results. Of course, detangle your natural hair before using this for the most ease but I have family that have used it out right and it still worked for them.
Also, if you want your hair to be bone straight, pair this with a flat iron and not a flat ironing brush.
It allows your arm to rest from using both of he hair dryer and the straightening brush. I like my hair completely dry, which it does, but it does not take out all your curls. Still need to use a hair straightener if you need that perfect look.
It’s okay for every day use, which is mostly what I bought it for.

Hot Tools One-Step Blowout Volumizer works amazing and gave me a salon-quality blowout that I have never been able to recreate at home. It is lightweight, only 14 inches in length and very easy to handle.
The brush head is a different oval shape design that gives ability to straighten and volumize at the same time. This unit comes with a removable brush head which is very unique and makes it a multi-tool everyone should have! I was amazed at how easy it was to start at the roots and slowly drag it down the length of hair.
I pinned a portion of my hair away the first time but because the brush head covers a large area of the hair you really do not even need to separate the hair just do a complete blowout going under and over from the base of neck and then from the top of hair.
I also appreciated that the tip of the unit stays cool so it’s easy to handle from both ends. The bristles of the brush are combination of boar type bristles and also nylon pin type spokes so the combination must be how it smooths and shines the hair so wonderfully when I used it as a day-two refresher for body and good at removing tangled on dry air it slides right through so easily.
They have added charcoal to the brush head too which I’ve never seen before and is perfect addition to this kind of styling tool because it refreshes your style but also gives it shiny and frizz free strands.
I can’t wait to try the other options that I can use with this multi-tool Hot Tools has done it again — quality product that works amazing!.
I received the Hot Tools Signature Series One Step Blowout Detachable Volumizer and Hair Dryer to try out. I have used a few products from Hot Tools before but I really like this one! The product came shipped in a box with the dryer and volumizer in separate pieces.
To attach, you just screw the volumizer onto the dryer to lock in place and there is an instant release button to remove the head. This product has a variable temperature control on the bottom of the handle, 6 inch swivel cord for easy reach and activated charcoal barrel brush to make your hair smooth.
The barrel is vented and coated with ceramic. The tip stays cool so you can hold it while styling your hair. I have very long hair and it usually takes a long time to dry and flat iron. I found when using this tool with damp hair, it cuts my drying time more than half.
I usually wear my hair straight but using this I am able to achieve the same look I do with a flat iron cutting out using a blow dryer. I have also found that sectioning the hair first and applying a heat protectant helps speed the styling time up while protecting.
I have also been able to get a great curl on the ends just by beveling the barrel in the direction I want the curl to go. I like that this volumizer/dryer breaks down into two pieces because I like to travel, it makes for easy storage.
Overall, I think this is a great styling tool from Hot Tools. I would definitely recommend, especially if you’re looking to achieve a salon quality blowout, curl or volume.
I love this brush. I had my doubts, after all I have so many tools that are supposed to work miracles on my hair. I have thick, long and frizzy hair. It takes a good 40 minutes to blow dry and then I have to use a hot iron to smooth it out.
And I don’t cheap out on shampoo, conditioner or styling tools. So when I got this in I didn’t try it with excitement, I was fully ready for the let down. But. I wasn’t let down. Yes, it’s loud and when I am doing the front sides of my hair, it’s hot on my face, but this actually makes my hair look like it does when I leave the salon.
Boy, was I happy!! And, I did it myself. It didn’t seem to take any longer than usual to dry my hair, definitely not as long as drying and then straightening. I didn’t feel like my arm was any more tired than when I hold my hair dryer.
If you are on the fence about this. get it. I’m so glad that I did!.

Since I remember hairstyling had been my biggest challenge, there was no way I could style my hair as my amazing hairstylist did each time after she cut my hair. I have thin hair nor curly nor straight, I have been always saying that they have a texture of dry grass – and because of this I could never leave them to dry naturally, I have to use a thick brush and hair dryer and spend significant time to give them acceptable look but nothing special.
So when the package of Revamp Progloss Airstyle arrived I was equally hopeful but sceptical, I wasn’t sure what difference another set of styling tools would achieve – I was very wrong. My first attempt resulted in an astonishing effect, my hair was smooth with a stunning volume.
It didn’t take long to style them and it felt surprisingly easy. I have tried all brushes and tools that were included in the package. Air brushes are super effective and easy to use, they feel good on hair.
I like the cushioned paddle air brush as I don’t have to use separate brush together with a hairdryer I have all in one which is handy and helps to reduce a number of accessories that I used to use. Switching between tools is very easy.
The tool to make curls is also easy to use and results in nice looking and bouncy curls but I have feeling that I have to master using this one as I think there is still lots I could do with it and I am not utilising it fully right now.
I don’t really use that much the deep finger diffuser as it feels strange on my hair and I don’t really see much of the effect. It is worth to mention that there are 4 heat and 2 speed settings including cool air button which all together is very powerful in terms of combinations you can apply to get the hairstyle effect you want.
When I use the strongest heat setting I need to be careful afterwards as the tool gets very hot and it needs time to cool down before I can pack it back in the box. The package/ box is very nice and it can be used as storage for the whole set which is very useful.
The product description says that the ceramic barrel is infused with Keratin, Argan and Coconut oils and I am trying to figure out how it works as I haven’t noticed any different appearance in the ceramic barrel that would suggest it is infused with these oils but my hair definitely looks different in a good sense and more manageable, shiny than after using my usual hair accessories.
My hair has tendency to get greasy very quickly so I was worried that the infusion of oils would make it worse but it hasn’t happened. The only downside is that the main body of the air styler is quite chunky and heavy, it doesn’t easily fit in one hand and it makes styling a bit more challenging than if the handle was slimmer.
Overall it is definitely a godsend and it made hairstyling much easier and the effect is fabulous every time I use it. I couldn’t recommend it more!.
I absolutely love this revamp air styler set. It comes with 6 different attachments. A hair dryer nozzle, a paddle brush, a rotating volumiser brush, a curling tongue and a diffuser. Absolutely everything you need to style your hair.
I mainly use the hair dryer and the paddle brush. Now my hair can get super frizzy so I have to use straighteners. But not with this. I give a quick blast with the hair dryer on the roots and use the paddle brush to finish.
My hair is super shiny and so sleek and straight. No need for me to finish with my straighteners. It has 3 heat setting and 3 speed settings. I find this doesn’t take as long as using my normal hairdryer and styles really well.
This would make a great gift, the packaging is beautiful and sleek.
I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I wanted to try all the features out before writing a review. Firstly the product looks great, very good quality and well made. The instructions are very easy to follow and user friendly.
I especially liked the fact that I could dry my hair with it also so it means I don’t have to have too many gadgets around the house. I liked the curling aspect of the product as it gives excellent results and the curls really do stay in for a long time.
When I first used it it took me a while but now I am getting more used to it I have restyled hair in no time. I have had some positive feedback on my hair too when I have styled it which is great. Overall a fantastic product and one I would be very happy to recommend to others.

I had my hair stylist (she’s real old school) in Inglewood, Ca to use this and she really liked it. She blow dried my hair faster (in 4 sections of course) and she liked how much straighter my hair was because she was “brushing” it dry.
My ends were straighter, as well. She has carpal tunnel (wears wrist braces) and liked the weight of the brush, not too heavy. Also, she ppreciated the use of one hand vs hair stylist using a blow dryer in one hand and a brush in the other with my long (pass my bra strap) thick (very dense) hair.
Of course, I sat under the hairdryer to ensure my scalp was completely dry before my press-n-curl. Going to buy another one as a backup because products I love are rarely replaceable after 3-5 yrs or so.
Absolutely worth the money. I was apprehensive about buying this hair dryer brush but after researching multiple brands online, I was told this was one of the more beginner friendly hair dryer brushes on the market.
Its a little awkward to handle I will admit, since it is comically large, but its light enough to not cause pain in my wrists. Drying my mid-back length hair with this brush took no more than 30 mins.
I usually have to deal with getting hair rollers done, sitting in a dryer for 45 minutes, spending 15 minutes having a blower used to straighten my edges, and then another 15 to 20 minutes with a straightening iron.
I’ll take the 30 minutes of learning how to use a new styling tool and getting great results over sitting in a salon chair for an hour and a half, thank you very much.
I traded my round Revlon styler for the one step styler due to a torn rotator cuff. Love the light weight feel, and paddle brush style. My present cut is a lob, very long in the front, light layering in the back.
Naturally wavy and medium density. For me, the new styler works well on the shorter sections of hair. On the longest sections of hair, it seems to take extensive work to dry because the paddle brush is smaller than a large round brush.
Bottom line is that the Revlon styler is a good addition to your arsenal of tools!.
This dryer brush combines the hot air of a blow dryer with the structure of a round brush to create waves, curls, and a smooth, shiny blowout in one quick, simple step. The ionic technology reduces frizz and adds tons of shine while styling, while the strategically placed vents provide maximum airflow for a faster blowout.
A combination of nylon and tufted bristles allows for exceptional tension and control. Its round shape is perfect for shorter hair styles and creating loose waves and curls. How do I use it: After shampooing, thoroughly towel dry hair to remove excess water (for extra-thick or long hair, it may be necessary to rough dry hair with a regular blow-dryer before using The Single Shot).
Brush out hair using a detangling brush or comb, and separate into large sections. Place The Single Shot underneath each section and work it gradually from roots to ends, until the section is dry and smooth.
The Single Shot can also be used on dry hair to create a smooth, finished look. For loose curls and waves, use vertically throughout the hair. For volume at the roots, use horizontally at the crown. From Drybar.
I purchased in-store because my friend had the Revlon version. She’s got pin straight shoulder length hair though, and I really didn’t trust it. I go to DryBar usually once a week, and the styles will last about 4 days with dry shampoo.
I usually only wash my hair once a week, so it’s something that works for me. I have hard water at home and the salon water makes my hair feel soft and refreshed. My scalp has been increasing its dandruff production with summer though, and I’ve needed to wash 2x week now.
The problem is I’ve never been able to recreate the blowout look at home, and I can’t afford 2 blowouts a week. My hair is naturally curly, and I can style it just fine for curls, but I get really hot with my curls (I work in the medical field so I’m in surgical gown, scrubs, masks, face shield, and a really hot overhead light).
I’ve seen curly heads prefer this one to Revlon, and a girl at DryBar even told me it’s because the Revlon isn’t meant for wet hair, but this brush actually is. She said for the Revlon, I’d have to blow dry, straighten, then use it.
I’m the type of person, if I’m going to spend money on something I’d rather buy “the best” than buy the knockoff and eventually end up buying the better one. Also, this is a round circle brush compared to the Revlon oval and the DryBar oval double shot.
I’ve never used either, this is my 1st dryer brush. I showered, used my DryBar liquid glass shampoo/conditioner because it smoothes my thick cuticles well. A lot of reviews/YouTubers said to not use it on dripping hair.
I did what they typically do at DryBar. I wrung out my hair before twisting it in a microfiber towel. I tied the towel and my hair with a hair tie for about 10 minutes. It was damp but not dripping at all, I was honestly worried it was a little too dry.
I sprayed prep rally detangle/heat protection spray and brushed it with a Tangle Teazer wet brush, sorry AND the drybar heat protection/quick dry serum. I probably could have just done the quick dry serum(2 pumps) but I didn’t think about it until after the spray.
With the quick dry serum and a normal blow dryer, it takes me 40 minutes to dry. Without the serum, we’re looking at an hour. My hair is thick, curly, and to my mid back when straight/styled. A lot of people said to section your hair like you’re curling or straightening it.
Just WOW. I critiqued some YouTubers for flipping their hair different ways, at DryBar they blow dry it one direction (like you would curling/straightening), and it gives a nice half curl/flip at the ends.
I don’t think this brush could do that with my hair specifically. It probably would give nice curls/flip for shorter or straight hair. It would dry large sections 3-5inches across in about a minute. I HAD to use the brush both directions to dry the hair completely.
I noticed my ends would dry before my roots, so I started letting it rest at the roots before dragging it down to the ends. It WILL get caught/stuck on your ends if you try to curl it too far up on the shaft.
I could only flip it at the ends, and this I think is due to how the barrel is round/smaller than the double shot. So with sections, curling it both directions, I eventually turned my head upside down and used it like a hair brush to get my slightly damp scalp dry.
It did the trick! I had my whole head straight & voluminous after just 20 minutes. It had a slight curl on the ends but not what it gave a lot of straight/shorter hair. I sprayed DryBar hot toddy on my hair, heat protection but not a wet spray, dry like hairspray before I went over it with a 2″ barrel curling iron from Kristin Ess.
I notice that a 2″ curling iron gives more of blowout curls than a wand. (I use a Paul Mitchell 1″ flat iron, Paul Mitchell 1″ wand or 1. 25″ Kristen Ess wand to do tighter curls depending on what type of curl I want.
) I wanted more of a body wave than full curls. Did a full blowout and everything in 40 minutes! It looks amazing! For long curly hair, I think you won’t get an immediate blowout from this, and I wanted to rate it 4 stars for myself, but it just got my hair dry so fast I don’t think it deserves anything less than 5 stars.
My hair was smooth and glossy too! The brush DID NOT snag my hair like a YouTuber said it did her hair. I do wonder at how to clean the hair out of it over time though. It’s just a few strands, but the bristles are course and hold onto it pretty good.
I definitely recommend just trying to pull out what you can after each use. I’m THRILLED with being able to get great results on my 1st use. There’s usually a learning curve.
Just replaced my L’ange dryer brush with this DryBar model (my old one had lost most of its bristles after years of use). The Single Shot far exceeded my expectations after only one use. I’m loving the results from the round shape, as opposed to the oval of my previous dryer, as it helps with volume and gives my hair a slight bend that I previously needed an iron to achieve.
My L’ange would get so hot I couldn’t touch my hair for a minute after a couple of passes. It also made my bathroom hotter, and I’d have to let it cool like a curling iron if I was packing for travel.
This DryBar dryer dried my hair faster, never made my hair too hot to touch, my bathroom was noticeably cooler, and the dryer was cool enough to store immediately after use. The DryBar gave my hair body, shine, and the appearance I could only previously achieve with drying and ironing.
So cutting out a step is definitely a pro. For reference: my hair is medium/long in length, fairly fine, and I wear extensions. The resistance is perfect. Enough to achieve the result I was looking for, while being kind to my extensions.
If I was forced to complain about this dryer, it would only be that the handle is slick plastic (the L’ange has a more rubbery silicone handle that is a bit easier to hang on to) so it’s a bit slippery, and it’s taking a minute to figure out the right place to hold on to it.
But for the other wonderful benefits, the handle is definitely not a deal breaker. I’ve only used it once, so time will tell how it holds up. but so far, I’m completely in love. If the price tag is holding you back, Ulta offers Afterpay to take some of the sting out of the higher price.
This dryer took me a couple tries to find the best way to use it on my hair, but now that I’ve got a routine, it’s the best looking blowouts I’ve ever done at home. I’ve been using this for about 6 months now, and the biggest thing I’ve learned is that you should NOT use it on very wet hair.
If you squeeze a lock and water drips off, it is too soon to start drying. I use an Aquis wrap right out of the shower, which stays on at least 10 minutes, and then remove that and blot any additional water out with a dry t-shirt.
The best products I’ve used with this dryer are the Olaplex No. 6 leave-in cream and the No. 7 bonding oil. I use a blueberry-sized dollop of No. 6 and 5 or 6 drops of No. 7, rub those together in my hands, then work through my hair, starting from the ends.
I brush my hair through and let it air dry maybe another 10 minutes or so while I do other things to get ready. I give such a detailed description just to show that depending on how long your hair retains water, you should give it a healthy amount of time to air dry before using this dryer.
This has probably been good for my hair anyways, since it’s easier to damage the more wet it still is. I have maybe 2B-2C curls naturally, but I’m able to dry my hair straight just using this. It is the SOFTEST my hair has ever felt, and better than any blowout I’ve done at home with a dryer and a roundbrush.
I’ve seen people complain about it being heavy/their arms getting tired, but I don’t think it’s any different than a standard blow dryer in terms of weight. This is the only dryer I use on my hair now.
Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer And Volumizer Hot Air Brush In Black/white – Achieve beautiful volume and brilliant shine with the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Hot Air Brush. Boosted by ionic technology through a built-in genuine ion generator that dries hair faster and helps reduce heat damage.
Wow… I’ve been running around avoiding getting my hair braided because I did not know how to blow out my hair. I don’t remember prompted me to purchase this but I have short black African American kinky hair and I knew my hair was long enough to get braids.
So my search ended me here to purchase this item. It didn’t take 5 min for me to blow out the front of my hairline and I realized my hair was not only long enough for braids, but I could actually blow out my own hair.
I’ve held out for years in ignorance!! Super easy… not hard at all. I did use a little homemade essential oil mixture for my hair. Don’t know if that will protect my hair, haven’t had time to research that part.
Love this hair dryer and styler. Dries my long hair super fast and much easier than using a traditional hair dryer coupled with a styling brush. Because I typically wear my hair straight it works for me.
With my BB&B 20% off coupon it was a great price. I’ve seen essentially the same dryer at much higher price points under other manufacturer names. Limitations – On the limited times that I want a little curl, I do have to resort to using hot rollers.
I could also suggest a couple of changes to the dryer to make it even better – miniaturize the motor so the handle is smaller and easier to grip. Also, change the high/lo/cool/off “twisty” switch to something that is easier to change while in the act of drying your hair.
Warning – the high setting gets really, I mean really, hot so be aware and be cautious until you figure out how to deal with that. Also, this particular dryer would probably not work on short hair. I believe they might have one designed specifically for short hair.
Despite its limitations and the one concern, I still love it and have even purchased a second one for travel purposes. I’ve had the first one for about a month so can’t yet attest to the dryers longevity.
When I first used this dryer I did notice volume and a total blowout look. Was happy with it. Used it once or twice a week. I noticed with every use there was alot of hair when I was picking it clean from bristles.
I clean it after every use. After possibly 5 or 6 uses my hair was breaking. I use heat treated sprays prior to blowing (similar routine as using a hair straightener). Have to add product to smooth out my hair above my ears toward scalp which I never had to do before.
My hair thickness is medium to thinning and below shoulder. Sadly it looks frizzy with the breakages at varying lengths. I already throughout the box but still have the receipt.

I just purchased this this week from Nordstrom and I really had no idea if I was going to like it or if it would do everything it claims to do, and I purchased it specifically from Nordstrom because I knew if I had a problem and wasn’t happy that Nordstrom likes to make sure their customers are happy and I’d be able to return it.
The first couple of minutes I was thinking to myself that this isn’t going to work and it’s probably going back but within 5 minutes I was hooked and I was finished with my hair in 20 and it ABSOLUTELY looked like I’d just had a blowout at the salon! I have thick, coarse and wavy hair and for years I’ve had to use a flat iron if I wanted to wear my hair down and I’d get so hot doing my hair that the bottom layer would be damp by the time I was done from sweating so I spent a lot of time with my hair wrapped up in a loose bun.
But I’m not lying when I tell you that I just watched one video on how to use it and my hair looked beautiful. It was full and flipped up and under at the ends and I did take a picture but I’ll have to add one later because I look so horrible in the photo outside of my hair:) I can promise you you’ll love this and never go back to the blow dryer and flat iron! I rarely review anything I’ve bought online, I’ve maybe reviewed 3 items total but I just had to post this because I relied heavily on the reviews I read before I purchased this so I wanted to help out anyone trying to decide.
Especially since it’s a fairly expensive purchase at least in my opinion, but it’s well worth it especially being on sale right now. And you can buy it elsewhere and get a few hair products with it but personally I’d rather have the Nordstrom return policy then I would a few hair products!!.
I use this brush after my hair is completely air dry, instead of a flatiron which I have used for years. I waited a couple months to review this product just to make sure I was getting consistent results.
The best and most surprising part is that my hair texture has changed dramatically. It’s so much softer to touch, it’s shiny, and it’s easy to style. My hair has always been naturally dry, it’s also prone to frizz.
The only way I’ve been able to tame it in the past is using expensive hydrating masks each week, then leave in conditioner and flat ironing it out. (Blow drying never worked for me because it would take hours, kill my arms, and give me too much volume).
I love the fact that I’m no longer damaging my hair and that it takes me 10-15 mins to style. I still can’t get it super straight partly because I’ve never been good at regular blow drying, and also because my hair is thick, as in I have a ton of it, and I don’t have that much time/patience to spend on my hair.
Still, I am happy with the way it looks (definitely more polished than just air dry) but so much softer than flatiron. I also have highlights all over so you’d think my hair is a mess. It’s actually healthy and it’s gotten at least 50% healthier just by using this brush instead of a flatiron.
My hair looks like it did when I was a kid. Thanks to all of the reviews here who helped encourage me to buy this product. It wasn’t something I wanted to invest in initially because it’s expensive, but bit the bullet and so glad I did.
My hair is certainly not easy to tame (dry, thick, wavy and curly in places) so if it works for my hair it will probably work for most people. It’s a complete game changer for me, I can say that with 100% confidence.
There’s never been a product before that’s actually worked this well for my hair. Give it a shot, you’ll love it!.
Although it’s similar to some of the other dryer brushes on the market, the bright color and lightweight feel of the Drybar model puts it at the top of the heap for me. When I’m in a rush, I can give myself a pretty sleek blowout in about 20 minutes.
Start by sectioning your hair into four parts (two uppers and two lowers). I usually let my hair air dry slightly or “rough dry†it before using a blow dryer brush, but you can use it on damp hair.
Then you take your hair section by section, continuously moving the brush over the strands while maintaining a little tension on the dryer brush. It’s also a great idea to use a heat protectant before you style.
I love the heat protectant from Dry Bar, plus it smells heavenly. The Double Shot has two heat settings, both high and low. I noticed it has more bristles and higher quality bristles than other dryer brushes, as well as more vents evenly placed around the brush.
It took about five minutes to dry a quarter of my hair and left it smooth and frizz-free. The Drybar Double Shot is expensive, but it didn’t get too hot or have the burning smell that other dryer brushes emit, and using the high setting was quick and efficient.
While other dupes are good, I don’t think it’s worth the savings to risk frying your hair. I’ve continued to use the Drybar Double Shot to dry my hair and have let several people borrow it to try.

SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS PRODUCT!! I have naturally curly hair and have spent thousands of dollars over years buying not only shampoos & conditioners, serums, oils, sprays, etc. to help stop frizz after straightening my hair, but also $$$ on hair dryers, brushes and straighteners.
Not to mention the HOURS upon hours over years spent painstakingly drying then straightening my hair only to find it frizzing up within hours, even under dry ambient conditions. I couldn’t believe using this magical Air Brush allows me to dry and COMPLETELY STRAIGHTEN my hair and in a few minutes – I’m talking like *6-7 MINUTES*.
And my straightener has been retired under the sink. I haven’t used it since I got this Air Brush. Granted I don’t quite get the volume I was expecting, but it’s more volume than I ended up with after using a straightener.
A tip for those with curly hair: once finished drying my hair, I take the front pieces that surround my face, place the dryer on top of the hair, slowly brush straight down, on my scalp from forehead to ends.
Frizz and baby hairs are STRAIGHT. REVLON: Only 2 reasons this is getting only 4 out of 5 stars: the cord isn’t long enough and the ‘cool’ setting isn’t so cool. If you make this exact product but with the cord longer and the ‘cool’ setting actually cool, I’ll buy a second unit and rate it again, next time with 5 stars.
I think my blow dryer I’ve been using just went obsolete in my world. I’ve been fighting curly, unruly frizzy hair my whole life. Been using a professional blow dryer with a specific round brush, and painstakingly drying my hair with the little attachment and a round brush for decades.
Gave up on that and started ruining my hair with a flat iron. Still never could achieve that shine I’ve always dreamed of. UNTIL now. I feel like this thing has been the best kept secret to women everywhere.
Works fast, doesn’t yank or break my hair, ALOT less breakage noticed in the sink than anything else I’ve ever used. Fast, and works wonders. The highest setting is truly hot, I only had to use medium setting and it works beautifully.
It is slightly heavier than I would prefer, but easy to use for me. A bit loud, but for this hair I could care less. It’s shiny, bouncy, and manageable, without a drop of serum or any leave in conditioner, just used a thermal heat protectant spray and voila.
I’m sold. As long as this unit lasts, I will be raving about it. Thank you for making my life easier and helping to keep my hair healthy longer. My favorite thing about it? I can let go of the section of hair I’m drying and use the end tip to roll the dryer, and it doesn’t burn my fingers at alll.

brand story Sam Villa creates hair styling tools designed for ergonomic comfort and professional results Age Group: adult.
First off, let me say this. I’ve been in the hair industry for almost 25 yrs. in that time, I’ve been through A LOT of different blow dryers over the years. But hands down, the Vision blow dryer blew all the other dryers out of the water! (Pun intended) I really love the Vision blow dryer! On high, it dries the hair super fast which is great.
If I had to say one negative thing about it, it would be the high setting being as loud and strong as it is. I tell my clients it’ll be like we’re going through a wind tunnel for a few min! It’s difficult to carry on a conversation with the client on this setting.
A great way to combat this I found, is to use the high setting in the beginning of the blow dry process to get the majority of the water out of the hair. This takes on average 5 min on med length hair.
Then I blow on low setting for the rest of the time. High tends to be extremely loud and extremely powerful. So it can be challenging to try to control the hair with a round brush in this stage. But I found the low setting is comparable to my previous blow dryers high setting, so it still works great.
I also love that I have complete control over the temperature controls. Even on the high setting, I can turn the heat off if I want. Once I adjusted my expectations about the noise volume, I have loved this dryer! It’s also extremely light weight and easy to handle.
It easily accommodates many different ways of holding it. I haven’t had any issues with the buttons being where they are as some reviews mention. I find it easy to change my grip where necessary. I’m pretty sure this is the last dryer I’ll ever own!.
This tool is a major surprise. It actually works incredibly well. I work with many clients with long frizzy curly hair. Using the Pro Results 3-in-1 Blow Dry Hot Brush does an incredible job from wet to straight in a fraction of the time it would take using blow-dryer, brush and flat iron.
The Blow Dry Hot Brush cuts the drying time in half, eliminated the need for a straight iron and took us right to the curling with a hot iron. We will be using them in our Studio and retailing for Clients.
This tool leaves the hair incredibly shining and smooth. On a side note it is not for volume nor is it for bend nor for curl.
This brush is dope because it combines the hot brush with the blow dryer brush creating a unique, lightweight yet powerful tool. On a personal level I’ve struggled with other blowdryer brushes because I find them difficult and clunky to use.
This brush is straightforward and easy to use just like brushing your hair! I’ve been retailing it to my guests with neck, wrist, or shoulder issues who have struggled to style their hair. They are all over the moon that they can create the curl, lift, flip and smoothness that they’ve been missing! Thanks Sam Villa for creating a tool unlike any other!.

I bought this hair dryer thinking that I was buying the best! After 3 months, not using it every day since I’m still working from home and don’t need to do my hair every day. One day just after I turned it on it made a terrible noise and sounded like something was broken inside and was rattling around inside.
I contacted bondi boost and added a video of what it was doing. Their response was to return it to them for a refund. I threw away the Packaging and box it came in. I would have to package and ship back to them before I received a refund! I never returned it and of course can not use a smoking broken hair dryer.
Don’t confuse cost with quality. And customer service is key to a good consumer experience. Will never buy anything for this company ever!.
Excellent product. I have been using a hairdryer to rough dry my hair and then a revolving hot brush to give body for my fine hair. The Blowout Brush means I only have to use one implement now to get the same effect.
The best thing about it is that it doesn’t pull my hair out, as the revolving hot brush tended to do, nor does it burn my head. The only downside is that it should have some sort of hard plastic cover for the bristles as you can’t really pack it in a suitcase for travel without squashing the bristles.
The box that it comes in is too bulky for this purpose. If you could include one with the product or sell it separately, the Blowout Brush would be worthy of six starts!.
Absolute waste of money. If feels cheap and flimsy and unsafe. When I had it on the hottest setting it started to make some loud rattling noises after a minute so I’m not game to even use the hottest setting.
The other settings do nothing to my hair. I don’t know if the hottest setting would work as I can’t leave it on long enough to find out. The other settings do nothing whatsoever. I tried it on totally dry hair and on slightly damp hair and nothing.
I read reviews and checked ratings before buying and I have no idea who it got such good ones – it makes me wonder if the negative ones never see the light of day.

The Mermade Blow-Dry Brush is truly a revolutionary tool that will blow you away. For a sleek blowdry, start with clean, towel-dried hair and apply a heat-protectant like our Mermade Mist. Step 2. Section hair with our Grip Clips.
Taking one section at a time, starting from the bottom layer, choose the best heat setting for your hair. Step 3. Place the oval brush near the root and brush away from the head while gently rotating.
This will create professional like volume. Repeat for all layers and sections of hair. For more curve, wrap the hair around the barrel and hold for a few seconds. Step 4. Finish with a shot of hair spray.
Tip: You can use the blow-dry brush on dry hair to revive your mane or give it some bounce. Be careful not to touch the scalp with the tool. Make sure to clean out bristles and wipe down the tool after use to avoid product build up.
Safety Allow all heat tools to cool down before stowing away. Heated appliances should only be rested on heat proof surfaces. Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
I just got a new haircut and she showed my how to blow dry and style it like she did, but I am SO bad at doing blowouts. I immediately came home and ordered this blow dry brush. It works even better than I anticipated.
I have the wave making tool already, so I knew the quality would be great but I didn’t think it would make such a huge difference. My hair is very fine and flat and with this brush I just use it on the hot setting to dry and then the cool setting to style and set.
It gives me volume/body and curls and it HOLDS! Even without hairspray I wake up the next day with my hair still perfectly curled in. It’s FAST too! 10 minutes at the most and thats when I’m going all out.
It dries my hair lightening fast. If you are considering this tool and are awful at doing blowouts like I am, get it you will not regret it! My hair doesn’t hold a curl to save it’s life and this tool legit makes my hair hold its curled in shape.
I have been looking for a hair tool that could give the effect of a round brush blow dry without the hassle of a round brush and hair dryer. This one is it! It has replaced my hair dryer round brush now.
I have naturally straight hair and it’s very difficult to get a decent amount of volume in my hair without using hot rollers, Velcro rollers, and additionally styling time. This brush does it all- dries my hair quickly and gives me volume all at once.
I’m able to get loose big waves with this blow dry brush, and will occasionally go in afterwards with a curling iron to touch up a few pieces if necessary. It is also super light weight which is a plus.
Highly recommend trying this, its a great price point and works tremendously.
I have fine, limp hair, in a bob cut just above the shoulders and never really tried to style it as I felt awkward with a brush and drier. This brush changed everything! I had searched for ages and wanted one with a switch on the handle, so glad i did, to switch down to cool as soon as it’s too hot.
It is so easy to use. I found for more of a lift, I briefly dry my hair, flipping my hair forward with a normal dryer first on the roots to speed up drying time and lift the roots. Then spray with root volumizer, and sectioned my hair with top part tied up, working from the bottom up.
I lift the brush up, and hold it closer to the roots to get more volume. I get comments of how sleek my hair is. It’s a game changer for me. :-).
