20 Best Beer For People Who Don’T Like Beer (2023 Updated)

This is actually a really nice tasting beer. for it being non alcoholic! It’s light tasting, has a nice beer taste, no weird aftertaste. It feels like you are having a nice cold beer, minus the hang over, puking and hanging out in the bathroom by the toilet on the cold floor.

(just me? Haha) The bottle caps are also not flimsy crap, and the packaging is well done, still looks like a beer!.

I stopped drinking for about a year, but as a beer fanatic I still really wanted beer, so I looked into non alcoholic alternatives. Out of every non alcoholic beer this was the one I truly didn’t like.

In my opinion non alcoholic beer will almost never taste exactly like the real thing but that doesn’t mean it has to be devoid a flavour. This was just that, beer water. If you aren’t drinking explorer your options, there are many great non alcoholic beers out there, you sometimes just have to look a bit harder, but it’s well worth it.

I purchase this beer when I cannot find a better tasting non alcoholic beer. I only say this because the taste of this beer is inconsistent. I have had some very skunky beers and other times I have had some pretty delicious bottles.

I don’t believe it’s the manufacturer’s brew that’s the issue but maybe during transportation to the shops or maybe from being stored improperly at my local shops. I will probably continue to buy this beer but it’s at my own risk.

I have to say though, when I get a good batch it’s delicious and refreshing.

I always do the Dry January routine just to get a little cleanse. I’ve tried a variety of non-alcoholic beers and bourbons (my two drinks of choice), but none have impressed me and I’ve just opted for nothing.

But this Wellbeing Hellraiser is pretty dang good! I like ales, and this impressed me. No, not as good as a regular ale like a Fat Tire, but it’s right up there. I likely wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if someone told me it had alcohol in it.

I actually stocked up on some to have for any occasion. Good stuff and highly recommended.

I bought this at Total Wine because they were out of Gruvi Stout. This beer is undrinkable in my opinion. For non-alcoholic dark beer that is smooth and enjoyable, I highly recommend a blend of 1/2 Gruvi Stout and 1/2 Bravas Oatmeal Stout in a frosty mug.

This Hellraiser beer was a huge disappointment.

IMO, when you realize NA beer will not taste like real beer, you can look at this as an alternative to beer and adjust your expectations accordingly. That said I do like Hellraiser NA beer above most other NA beers I have tried.

Initial flavor is good but the mouthfeel/body is a bit thin IMO, and carbonation is a bit too fizzy. But again I do find this to be one of the better NA beers so I will keep buying it. I wish it was available in 12 or 24 packs to make it more economical to purchase.

My husband loves this beer. She recently switched from Bud light due to Miller Lite’s lower calories. He prefers the bottle cause it gets colder can. However, the stays colder longer if that makes sense.

He sometimes gets coors light if on sale. His first choice is Miller Lite bottle. He said Bud light tastes better, but he rather watch his beer belly and save a little. Miller lite has a crisp, fresh, mild flavor.

The most reliably refreshing alcoholic beverage out there. If you’re looking for a flavor explosion that scorches the tastebuds right off your tongue and quenches nothing, this ain’t it. But it is a near perfect balance of light taste, refreshment, and alcohol content that they’re practically giving away.

Its beer what else can I say? It’s not my regular go to brew but its usually available at pretty much every gas station and major retailer that sells alcoholic beverages. Miller offers a smooth light taste as it suggests without all the calories.

I call it diet beer. It’s not bad at all though.

Dry January is off to a skunky start. I purchased both the amber and oatmeal stout versions of this non-alcoholic “brew” to liven up our sparking water lives. Upon popping open the “oatmeal stout” concoction, the first wave of smell can be best described as “a flaming cow patty floating in curdled hollandaise sauce.

” But we’d committed $9 to this effort and I’m no quitter. So I reluctantly took a sip (while my partner in sobriety ran heaving into the other room). For a glorious half a second, I could at least imagine a suggestion of a chocolate coffee stout.

And then things went wrong. The only explanation for the Willy Wonka ride of horrible Gobstopper flavors from the Sulphuric Pits of Hell is that this swill was “brewed” with celery juice and deer urine.

It tasted like drinking the sludge at the bottom of the used towel bin outside the sauna at a discount strip mall bathhouse.

I have tried every na beer and ale available. Bravus ipa has the best flavor. Bravus ipa is better tasting than anything Athletic brewery sells and is way way better than the rancid Lagunitas NIPA. I would like to be your representative in northern CA.

Igrew up with a grandfather who made Home Brew but later found that Iliked the taste but not the alcohol. After trying many non- alcoholic beers, Coors Edge won !. the flavor is smooth, the feel is light and it is so refreshing.

I cannot be the only one who likes it because I have to search the Tampa Bay area to find it. Total wines has it but it disappears instantly. when I find it I buy up to 2 cases so that I have it o hand whenever I desire.

Coors Edge takes the edge off!.

I gave up alcohol 10 years ago and started drinking non-alcoholic champagne, wine and beer. Coors has two non-alcoholic beers that I know of. The inital one I started drinking is labeled Coors non-alcoholic.

But now I have been drinking Coors Edge for two years and it is by far the best non-alcoholic beer for me. I have tried more than 15 different ones. Coors Edge is clean, crisp and smooth. No after taste.

I am not really a beer drinker. Mostly drink dry oaky wine and have been looking for something nonalcoholic. Coors Edge is not sweet and satisfies my desire for a drink. Tried low alcohol wines, seltzers.

This is my go to Non Alcohol daily drinker, great Beck’s flavor not to sweet and not to bitter. Really a taste consistent with Beck’s overall branding. I really miss the Beck’s Premier light,but, this is an all day drinker when you are boating, working outside, or just back from a long afternoon run.

I never really drank Beer when I was living in the states because I honestly never liked[brand:heineken] the taste of American beers. I then moved to Germany aka the beer country of the world and I’ve decided to try every beer ever hahaha Although [brand:heineken] is not a German beer it’s still one of my favs.

I love how you can practically find it anywhere and it’s inexpensive. I also like the logo 😊 I’m a sucker for good marketing aka good aesthetic. This is a pic from when I went to the [brand:heineken] tour in Amsterdam and saw how the beer actually got made.

Okay, look. I’m an IPA freak. I’m old enough (74) to predate the craft beer phenomenon, and to have plunged in at the very start (Sam Adams). I am an avid hiker with some obsessive tendencies that get me in trouble with alcohol at times, and the older I get the harder the hangover hits me.

Sadly, IPAs tend to be a lot higher in alcohol than your average ‘Bud Light’. So, as I got older, I had entirely given up beer – switched to. wait for it. Dr. Pepper. About two years ago I noticed Athletic coming on the scene, but prices and availability were pretty limited.

Not so any more. So yesterday I finally acquired my first six-pack of Run Wild. Frankly, it’s a little more citrus-forward than I prefer. Citrus in IPA is totally foreign to the original concept, but it is a flavor that does complement the bitter hop-forward taste that preserves the IPA on those long sailing voyages from Britian to India.

These days, it seems the younger crowd like their ‘beer as candy’ flavors. Anyhow. my hands-down favorite of the hundreds of alcoholic IPAs I’ve tasted is New Belgium’s 9% ABV Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA, which has more pine than citrus and, oh, did I mention, I cannot get enough hops, and the higher the IBU the better.

No limit. But even one full Voodoo gives me a dehydration headache that kills all the pleasure. So I had abandoned drinking it entirely. But with my discovery of your N/A brews, I’m exploring low alcohol blends.

Best early experiment is blending a 12 ounce can of Run Wild with four ounces of Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA. The result turns the citrus and pine into notes of *Apple*. Who knew? Thanks so much folks.

I’ve put in an order for several other IPAs and one Dark (First Ride) and am looking forward to this new adventure!.

This is a great IPA, full stop. More hop-forward and complex than Run Wild, and the flavor lingers a bit longer on the palate in a beautiful way. It doesn’t taste “citrus-flavored”, but I get orange notes as the malt takes a back seat to the hops while still blending seamlessly in a mild, pleasant tartness.

The slightly “dank” and multi-faceted hop profile is delicious, and reminiscent of a more robust type of California-style craft IPA. Where the Run Wild finishes extremely clean and refreshing, Free Wave is “hazier” and more complex, and it’s even more likely to have you saying “Wait—are you SURE this is NA?” This is further reinforced by the flawless mouthfeel and head that are indistinguishable from a “regular” ale.

As someone who was underwhelmed by session IPAs (around 4. 5 – 5. 5% ABV) because they lacked the booze “backbone” to tie the flavor together and often tasted “watery” , I can confidently say that Athletic worked some magic here.

It’s very hard to tell this is NA, and it tastes better than those sessions—it tastes like a real, fairly strong IPA you’d expect to come in around 7% ABV. I’ll bet you could give one to an avid IPA drinker and they wouldn’t notice it’s non-alcoholic.

With this gem, you may never miss IPAs again, and you don’t have to “pretend” it tastes satisfying.

Life changer!!!! I really enjoy craft beer…. and I know that I would love to have a beer every night…but the calories and the alcohol on the nightly are not so good for me. A while ago I had heard of Athletic Brewing (San Diego & based).

They claimed to be great tasing …non alcohol beer. I poo poo’d it for a long time. Then about a month ago my other half suggested I try it. So she ordered some…came right to the door. so I had no argument.

AND I LOVE IT. It’s really changed my behaviors. First I still feel like I can treat myself, with the same level of good taste, mouth feel and overall enjoyment…just no (low) alcohol. So I can still be productive and not feel denied.

Fascinating discoveries…for me…is that 1) I thought it was alcohol that I was craving…not true. Turns out I just like good beer and don’t necessarily need the alcohol. 2) That when I do choose an alcoholic beverage I enjoy it more and feel less compelled to want more.

3) And again should I choose to have a cocktail. the best part is I can then have an Athletic as a second drink and feel great! 4) Lastly, the different styles range in calories from 45- 65. And they have a low gluten style as well.

Oh, there is one more bonus, they ship right to my home at about the same, or less cost as me going down to the store grab a 6-pack.

I see reviews for this on several beer sites getting a pretty bad wrap (3-4 stars outta 5). Call me strange but I’ve had a lot of beers over my life and this is by far my favorite and almost all I buy anymore.

Extremely drinkable, not bitter at all (10IBU), not too sweet, not watered down or masked by flavors. It’s a blonde ale so it’s perfect for a spring or summer day. Only complaint is they don’t make this in a 12 or 24pk.

A note about the gluten: I’ve only had maybe 3 gf beers in my life, from what I’ve read this is the best gf beer that is made. They brew the beer like normal and add in Brewers Clarex (an enzyme) when transferring to the fermentation tanks which breaks apart gluten protein chains removing a substantial amount of gluten.

They are packaged in a closed environment and each batch is sent off to a lab for testing. I don’t believe I’m gluten intolerant because I eat plenty of foods with gluten however I’ve noticed since my late 20s (I’m now in my early 30s) I’ve been left with nightmarish headaches that can last days after drinking.

For whatever reason Omission (only the ultimate light and lager varieties) do not cause this. I am so happy I’ve found a beer that I can drink again and even best I prefer it to all others. If you too are struck by this mystery sickness or are looking for a good gluten free beer look no further, this is the one!.

I have tried this Omission beer several times. It does not stand up to their lager!! Wish that would be offered again! Disappointed…..

The best GF beef I’ve tried. Its brewed as non GF and then they remove the gluten so it doesn’t have that sorghum taste like other GFs. Still not great but better than resorting to the seltzers.

At its core, Buenaveza is a very good tasting lager. The slight saltiness and hint of lime makes it the Margarita of beers, especially refreshing for hot summer days. I bought it to try, out of curiosity; I’ll buy it again for pleasure.

My friends seems to enjoy it, myself not so much. Different taste for sure! What I didn’t enjoy was the after taste. I’ll stick with “normal” beer.

I dont really care for beer, but I do love this stuff. One day I will make a rootbeer float using this beer. Just watch the kids who might want some.

It takes like a really good root beer, with a very slight taste of alcohol. I drank this stuff for the first time a few months ago, and now it is all I drink.

As someone who loved craft beers before she knew she had a wheat allergy, it was tough to find gluten-free beer that met my preferences. Omission’s lager, however, is a great-tasting gluten-free beer that is widely available.

It’s become a fixture in my fridge! Now, they need to work on a Belgian Triple style beer.

I got a negative reaction from this beer. I have been celiac for years and had a friend bring this over for me to try. Unfortunately this beer made me very sick and I do NOT recommend to anyone who is unable to have gluten.

This is not gluten-free this is low gluten. For all you people that shout ..it’s gluten-free. Read the label….low gluten.

I really enjoyed this brew. It was a clean lager that drank more like a pilsner. Crisp with a nice little hoppy bite. Nothing offensive here and very drinkable. I would recommend this beer if you are a simple lager/pilsner fan without all the frills.

Bought this a couple days ago because I love Danny Trejo and was wicked happy that it actually tastes good.

Has a nice flavor. Better than the regular Natty. I’m so loving it! O like how it comes in an 18 pack and the box and can are way more appealing than the normal Natty.

I don’t drink this personally but its my fiances first choice on beer. He says that it is potent and refreshing plus it quenches his thirst.

I didn’t know DG sold alcohol until a couple months ago. Since then, I’ve only bought it here and as usual it’s always Natty Daddy!

Very decent IPA with tropical notes upon cracking the can. Mouthfeel is a little lighter than expected. Alcohol is well hidden but perhaps contributes to the sharper finish than I was expecting. The head has vanished after a few minutes with some lacing.

But this is not a sipper; this would be great for tailgating when you want something a little spicier. I wasn’t expecting a lot and worried this could be a vanity project. I was wrong and this would be worth trying.

By no means the best but could have been a lot worse. 4/5.

Hey, honestly, you buy this beer because you want to see if Stone Cold’s brew matches the hype? Oh **** ya! Fact is, it is one of the best beers I’ve ever had throughout the world. Buy it, just buy it and you won’t regret it, just the opposite.

It is THAT Good. It is GREAT! Cheap it’s no relative to mat ther brews. In this case, you get what you paid for and overwhelmingly more than you expected. One last not, the way it’s packaged is the absolute best packaging for anything, from anywhere, I’ve ever received in my life.

Watched my favorite Thru-Hiker rave about this beer and I was curious to try it. I searched several stores and finally found it on Drizzly. The beer was good but I was expecting it to be amazing with it being labeled worlds best beer.

Man this stuff is good! I was skeptical at first because usually these “cola” flavored alcoholic beverages taste chemically or very artificial. This root beer is delicious, easy drinking, whether it’s Summer or Winter.

It’s definitely a go to I buy for get togethers, especially with the fair drinkers or my divorced mother who hates anything of my dads, haha. Definitely worth a try!.

To start off I am someone who really hates beer. I also don’t like any drink where you can taste the alcohol too much. That being said this alcoholic root beer is delicious. It tastes like root beer with maybe a little something extra.

The alcohol content is 5. 9% which I think is high compared to other beers. I am on my 4th 6 pack of this. Even though it is a little pricey ($10 for 6) I just really like the taste of it so it is worth it.

If you don’t like beer but you like root beer you need to give this a try.

I freaking love this. It is the only beer that I can stomach to drink. You open it up and instantly the smell of root beer hits you. Then what I do is kind of swirl the bottle a bit to make sure that I get the hoppy taste with the root beer.

It tastes just like root beer and I have to watch myself or I will go through the pack quickly. Now when you get to the bottom inch of the bottle it does taste more hoppy but not to the point I let it go to waste.

I definitely will buy again. Especially before the holiday family madness.

Good quality product. Had a bit of user error and accidentally over carbonated my brew, but I enjoyed a tasting before hand that was quite good. The over carbonated product was drinkable, and still had a decent flavor for what it was.

Would try this one again now that I have more experience.

Used this in an advanced recipe to make Pennsylvania lager. I have been brewing for a few years. But this was my best batch yet!

This is my go-to beer. The only change I did was with carbonation. Instead of the 2 carbonation drops recommended I used 1 tsp of table sugar (equivalent of 1 drop) per 750ml bottle.

We hadn’t ever tried this until going to a get-together and trying it. It has a rich, smooth and delicious taste. They taste so much better coming out of he bottle than they do the can, but everyone has their own preference.

Everyone loves this beer regardless of if they’re family, friends, neighbors, or co-workers, it’s just a premium beer that is preferred. Walmart almost always has it in stock and has the most reasonable price.

It’s great for having guests over, entertaining, bbqs, holidays, or any reason you would want to have a nice cold, delicious beer.

Modelo is a #pretty good beer. I like #drinking it better with a lemon or a lime in it. It is a more #expensive beer. It is a very common beer in the # city where l live. A lot of people in night clubs and restaurants are drinking it.

Best Beer Ever!!! I love the crisp, clean taste it doesn’t have a bad after taste. It goes down smooth, very refreshing. They come in bottles and cans in various sizes. They make several different flavors.

It’s more of an all purpose beer. Parties, outings, spring events are just a few places to enjoy this delicious beer!.

I randomly bought a six pack of this in Florida and it tasted like the regular Stella Artois, which is my favorite beer. Sometimes the nonalcoholic beers have that bitter taste at the end, but this doesn’t.

Figured it was selling in Texas so I didn’t bring any from Florida… I need to get back down to Florida or find another state that I’m driving through that selling it!.

Tried a couple non alcoholic lagers and they smell odd and taste like a poor substitute. However when I first tried this I double checked the bottle because it tastes just like Stella. Didn’t feel like I was missing out on a beer at all just the hangover.

At last! They’ve nailed it. Brands like Heineken and Budweiser got the closest in my opinion, but there was always a slight watery-ness about them. I then found 0. 5vol beers were better, but this 0.

0vol has hit the nail on the head. No strange “non-alcholic” taste (you know the one I mean) with these.
