19 Best Artificial Turf For Putting Green San Diego (2023 Updated)

This is, by far, way better than I was even expecting! After scouring tons of other product reviews, hoping to avoid cheap thin turf, I think I did it! Absolutely love this artificial grass. Looks just like natural grass once laid and is surprisingly plush and soft underfoot.

Install was simple and easy to complete. Well worth the money! Expect years of enjoyment.

This artificial turf is working out exactly as I hoped. I was in no rush to get it but you still got it to me pretty quickly. Now I have to go to work on it. Ha! I have to cut it into strips and, so far, it’s looking great!!!.

Very soft to walk on. Seems to dry quickly. Got it to place by the pool so my dog wouldn’t tear up his paws running around. I am happy so far.

Turf is incredible. Dogs love it. Shipping was not that great , it took 3 weeks and when it finally arrived to the city, I had to schedule an appt and then delivery guys said they only can do front door drop off and can’t take it upstairs to my rooftop patio where it was intended to go.

I even offered them money and they still wouldn’t. The thing was 15ft x12ft and weighed a TON! My boyfriend and I literally struggled for an hour to take it up 4 flights of stairs. But once it was up and rolled out it was incredible.

Worth the price but definitely advise proper delivery if it’s going to a rooftop or even a walking distance.

I ordered this “turf rug” for my backyard patio, since there is not much greenery here in the Southwest. I thought it would give the backyard a bit of color. I read a review on this site, that someone placed it in their garage and loved it, so now, I’m not sure if I want to put it in the garage or the backyard patio! My only concern is the dust that it will accumulate in the garage or outdoor, and not sure how to clean it.

Maybe a garden blower?.

We have a deck with pavers and a cement surround that needed work. We decided to try this product instead of trying to fix the cement and are pleased so far as it’s only been installed a couple of weeks.

One of the main instructions from the manufacturer is to make sure your surface is level. Since I had a few low spots that created small pools of water I purchased and applied self-leveling cement. My install was probably not the norm as I have long, narrow strips with curves and this made the job tougher than a square or rectangular area.

The cuts turned out okay but a hired professional would have done much better. I “dry fitted” everything before using the seam tape and adhesive making sure the lay-out worked. If I had this to do over again I would have asked for help with the seam tape because it’s difficult to keep the blades of turf from sticking to the very aggressive adhesive of the seam tape.

This caused my seams to be more noticeable after applying the seam tape than they were with the dry fit. Another person could have helped keep the blades of turf from sticking as you expose the adhesive on the tape.

I used both double sided outdoor tape and caulk adhesive to apply the turf to the concrete. The caulk adhesive works much better than the double sided tape in my experience. Our pool has direct sun for 8+ hours a day and the “grass” does get hot but not any more than the pavers or cement.

It feels very soft and I’m surprised how much cushion there is when you walk. Overall we are happy with this product and glad we did it. We are next to the beach so I wonder about how much sand will accumulate in the blades and whether it will withstand the coastal salty environment long term.

I am very pleased with the quality of this item. It is sturdy and very well made. Installation was simple and our pups are enjoying their new dog area. Wonderful selection of sizes available!

By looking at professional artificial grass installations with many brands, the seams are obvious on every installation I’ve seen so far. But beside that, I’m happy with my purchase. It does look realistic.

I was worried about the looks of it, until it arrived. I was relieved thereafter. We ordered two quantities, and once we saw the product, ordered two more. I am now ordering another two, to complete the front yard.

Buying synthetic grass online isnt easy. I like to feel the grass and look at the blades to see if its really realistic. Because of COVID, I just had to take a chance with this product. PRO: its very thick and sturdy.

I didnt have to lay anything down before laying this grass down. I didnt use grass staples either. Its stayed in place well for over 2 months. We get tornadoes a lot so this is great. There are so many types of real grass so its hard to say which type this is supposed to resemble.

I just wanted soft grass/rug for my kids playground. This works wonderfully and its budget friendly considering the fact that extra materials were not needed.

I actually bought this product about awhile back just to have at my sisters house for my small dogs. This worked amazing for my dogs and I could not find this for the longest to order for my house now.

I ended up buying a different brand and my dogs refuse to use it so now that I have found this one I will be ordering it again in a bigger size. For those wondering it has been 3 years since I bought this originally and my sister still has it, and it still has it’s fluffiness and has not faded.

My dogs still use it when I go to her house.

I got this strictly for my HD power sled push and pull sessions. It will do the job but I did notice immediately rolling it out that the cutting of this thing was either sloppy or its already unraveling on the outsides.

Long strings or whatever mesh is under it is what is sticky out. Honestly they look like the grass you put in an Easter basket. I don’t think I would recommend this size blade for anything aesthetic.

Kids play area, working out, dogs potty pad. its perfect and inexpensive compared to the other 33 ft x 3 ft artificial turf. I love the one I returned , but it was only 13 ft long. The blade was 1 1/4 in and thick , lush looking, heavier.

Very expensive for a 33 ft piece though. I opted for cheap. This blade is like 1/8 or 1/4 of an inch.

Almost returned it ! So happy I cancelled return ! I live in a high rise with a nice 10′ × 10′ balcony. Always wanted a piece of grass even if fake ! read reviews ,checked out multiple sites. Amazon Home depot to name a few.

compared it with price ,quality and reviews. Walmart customers had the best reviews. Bought it and so happy kept it. Shipping was quick. Just wish they had dropped off by my apt door instead of the lobby.

getting it to the 9th floor was a little irritating. The roll wasn’t that heavy though. Wanted a larger size but went with largest 9′ × 9′ piece. quality is very good. (a tad itchy but me and my son actually lay down and read a book and with a towel underneath we were pretty comfy).

I’d been shopping around a lot and finally decided to get get something cheap to see if I even liked having artificial grass. These 4×6 “rugs” of grass fit the bill – I ordered 4 of them for a strip in my front yard.

My goodness! I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and look of these mats. They are much less expensive than the ones that look similar, and look even better than some high priced models. These are a great bargain!.

I bought 2 previously to put in my garage before entering into kitchen. They catch ALL the dirt, easy to clean, no need to vacuum. Can just shake dirt out. They last. Have at least 1 1/2 yrs. Just bought two more in brown for beach house.

One for front door and one in garage before entering into kitchen. Love the selection of sizes! These mats are durable! While a designer mat might look nicer at entrance, to me, catching all the dirt and sand was more important.

This Don Aslett AstroTurf Mat was a replacement for the semi-circleAstroTurf mat that I had. Unfortunately, after many, many years, my semi-circle mat began to tear, so I needed a replacement. I was disappointed that I could not find the same semi-circle style mat that I purchased from QVC (even checked the Don Aslett website) way back when.

I needed a mat, I love the Don Aslett AstroTurf Mat products, so I settled for this rectangle. It looks very neat and clean, and I am pleased. The only problem I’ve had with the AstroTurf Mats is that, even though my mats are located in a relatively protected outdoor entryway, on windy days, the wind can blow them away, and they are too costly to lose them because of wind.

Weighted corners or edges would be a great idea! Also, please consider bringing back the large semi-circle style.

I originally bought 2 of the smaller size rugs about 15 years ago from Don Aslett on QVC. I wanted a different color, so I gave the older ones to my son and they still look and perform like they should.

The newer rugs from Don Aslett, split and fell apart after 2 years. I read the reviews on this rug and ordered one in brown. It is a good size rug and that is what I needed. It is heavy and looks good at my back door.

I have a lot of sand in my yard and of course, no one wipes their feet. I have bought numerous products from Don Aslett over the years and I have always been pleased. Only time will tell if this rug will hold up and if it does, then I will order another one.

I’ve used this “grass” for many things. Most recently, I used it to make a planter for my daughter’s gravesite with faux calla lilies so there was something pretty during the winter. I has held up quite well through the freezing temps and snow.

I also used it to top the planters I have around my house. It’s very real looking and I get nice comments from guests. I’m a big fan.

We used this in our reptile terrarium and they love it! The anole especially enjoys how we have it setup on an end of his tank. He can use it as a hide and its working well while a setup with more living plants is better tweaked.

Cheap quality material and the seams keep coming apart. Very messy and when you walk on it black material goes on your feet. Also not as thick as it was mentioned to be on the description.

This is so amazing. Very high quality, easy to install (we used fabric staples for this type of product) easy to cut but that’s just the beginning. It looks REAL!! Washes off very easy. No pet stains anymore.

We installed in an area that wouldn’t grow anything. We have female dogs so grass/sod just doesn’t work for them. as you may well know. The dogs love it. What a great product.

Bought this item to replace my dogs potty patch grass. I think this product is really nice. It is really easy to clean and does not hold the bad urine smell like most grass does. It was really hard to cut so be prepared to use a sharp knife.

I bought it for my service dog, that he didn’t ruin the shag carpet in apt. However, I ordered more because I love the feel of it!

I have, in the past, bought a Klug kit at 100+ this kit is very very similar in quality and look. Having fitted it the quality is the same and in some areas better. For 35 you cant go wrong.

We have a brick patio and wanted somewhere for the dogs to play. They love playing on this and now have somewhere to lay. It is comfortable on our bare feet, and seems to be nice quality. I was surprised at how fast they shipped!.

I really think this rug is ideal for a patio space or deck. I’m a Design consultant and I would recommend this product to a friend or a client. My apartment is in Midtown Atlanta with a decent size patio.

I had a vision for the space and I was determined to find a rug or even astro turf. The Light weight and flexibility of this rug. Not to mention, I needed to cut it to fit the space. The entire process was seamless and it absolutely help me to create my own little get away during this time.

Ive had the mat on my enclosed porch for over a week and it has been great so far. Decreased dirt from being tracked into my kitchen. Very soft on bare feet. Ive also noticed a temperature difference on my porch too, more comfortable to sit out on very warm days.

I had to tuck the rug under on one side because the width of my porch is a couple of feet shorter, no big deal. Overall Im happy with my purchase.

This rug looks like the top of a pool table! It feels something like heavy felt with one side treated for durability. So far it has held up to 3 small dogs and 2 cats, and high afternoon winds. I recommend this rug for patios and decks, or for a floor in a tent.
