Reviews From Real Customers
I have bought at least ten of these double row flea combs over the past year and a half. The reason I have bought so many is that I use them for EVERYTHING!! Here’s what I mean. First, I wet the comb with water and then – > These are great as flea combs but they are also especially good at combing my cats to remove hair.
The teeth fit tightly together so they grab the loose hair and hold firmly until I remove it. > These combs are exceptional at removing cat hair from any thing with carpet. Cat trees, carpeted wall steps, even wall to wall carpeting! I am always amazed! > Clothing – just run the comb under the fawcett, and use it to remove hairs on clothing.
> Fabric couches. works exceptionally well! I cannot be without these combs on hand! > Fabric car seats. Same thing. wet, comb! I go thru so many because the way I use them, understandably, causes teeth to bend and requires their removal.
But, this is one tool I rely on and must have at all times!.
This is not like those cheapy dollar flea combs that don’t even have handles which are so difficult to use and the bristles are usually made of plastic. This is a MUST for any pet owner out there. I’m usually too lazy to write reviews but I just had to because I thought all flea combs were the same but they aren’t.
This will make your life and your pet’s life so much better since it’s so easy to use due to the metal bristles which allow it to glide through your pets’ fur with ease. It gets so much fleas and their dirt.
Also, your pet gets to enjoy a little massage. It’s so gross but it’s a small sacrifice to deal with in order to improve quality of life. Get this!! It’s a quality flea comb.
Most flea combs out there don’t remotely work. Don’t even try the plastic combs. You need very fine metal combs that hold up to being used without bending. The spaces between the tines has to stay consistently small over time.
This is one of the few out there that really works. Highly recommend. I comb out the fleas and flea dirt and drop both in detergent water. I can rid a cat of fleas in just a few combings if they cooperate! Great for kittens.

Helicopter dog mom here-I was very worried about using an e-collar with our red golden retriever when one of the trainers I hired said to get it. I never used one before but he showed me and had me practice.
It has saved her life multiple times. My biggest dream was to walk our farm with her off leash and this is the only collar that has finally let our dream come true! 25 acres and many hikes later and I am SO THANKFUL I gave this a try.
We’ve trained a for about a year and I am so happy for the freedom it has allowed us and has made our relationship even stronger. We’ve been able to lower the levels since she knows her boundaries know and I feel safe that if I need to turn it up, I have the option.
I know a lot of people are against e-collars but it has saved her from running into the busy street (that claims deer everyday) and saved her from wild animals (coyote). We have had the happiest of days recently being able to protect the horses by walking the entire paddocks a few times a day and checking the trails.
While we do leash walks ok, my dog and I are happiest walking for miles off leash/freely. I highly recommend to anyone nervous about getting this-it really is worth it when you use it correctly! My dog and I are both happy!.
I was so against e collars beforehand that I condemned anyone who used them. However when I got my own dog and he absolutely exploited every loophole you could find with R+, I was against a wall. I found a balanced trainer and while he was successful in changing my dog by 75%, we talked about e collars.
He said that this would change the entire game. I could have my dream dog. I bit the bullet and decided to try it. While there were a couple tough days in the beginning, my dog finally was submissive.
Now he helps me in my job with walking dogs and being the example. We go off leash (laws permitting) and will never cross streets or doorways without my permission first. And it’s all because of this device.
I won’t go anywhere without this, even if I never have to actually use it. It’s a way for me to communicate with my dog when he’s too far away. **I just ask people to consult with your trainer and learn how to use it correctly.
I have been using this collar on my pet dog for recall and place. It is a jack russell that liked to run out the door and chace groud squirrels. I used a long line with food reward for about 2 weeks before receiving this e-collar.
After about 2 weeks of wearing the e-collar with no stim, I overlayed page+stimulation with the long line and food reward after preforming the behavior. I use this e-collar at level 3 most of the time.
I could not fill the stimulation while e-collar prongs were placed in my hand till level 10. The collar appears to be very well made and should last for years. I like how the remote function is the same as my 1900S to keep thing simple and not have to re learn a controller.
I definitely recommend this e-collar for pet dog owners or those with a smaller working / hunting dog. Dogtra and Ray Allen both put out great products for both my working and pet dog.
Soft on Your Dog’s Skin: eufy Pet Dog Training Collar comes with silicone connectors that attach to the nodes and enhance your dog’s comfort. 3 Safe Training Modes: As a reinforcement to positive training, you can guide your dog to correct behavior with beeps and vibrations.
In case of emergencies, you can also use gentle shocks. A safety lock protects your dog against accidental shocks by misoperation. * Fits Medium to Large-Sized Dogs: Adjust the collar to comfortably fit your dog, whether you own a smaller-sized Beagle or a big St.
Bernard. Ideal for the Outdoors: Your dog can play outside and even go for a swim thanks to the IPX7 waterproof rating, and the remote has a communication range of 1,000 ft. Long-Lasting Battery: The rechargeable battery lasts two weeks on a single charge, plus it’s easy to recharge with a USB-C cable.
The form and fit of this collar is excellent! I really like that there is the ability to not turn on the shock and that the shock button is at the bottom so the tone button is front and center. I don’t really use the shock feature, it is only there when I notice really bad behavior about to start.
Otherwise I use tone only. And here is where the one big issue resides. The tone feature beeps twice slowly when the button is pressed only once. This is very tough for me since I have trained my dog to respond to a quick beep just to get her attention and then multiple beeps signal her keep coming back to me until the beeping stops.
Eufy. Please release an updated version to use a single beep or a very quick double beep and I will change this to 5 stars!! Still a good collar and I recommend do to all of the other features.
Safe, break-away collar design. Sustained release action prevents ticks from reattaching to the pet. This supplement is for animal use only. Keep out of reach of children and other animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately.
Consult with your veterinarian before using this product. Size: 27″.
This was a waste of $55. I own two GSDs and bought each one of these collars. They have done nothing to rid them of fleas. Their bedding is clean and kept that way, the fleas are from outdoors. They were getting re-infested every time they went out or so I thought, so I sequestered them for 2 weeks in the house.
changed all bedding, treated the carpet, etc. STILL they had fleas. I bathed them and combed them with a flea comb and finally they were free of fleas. They were then allowed out of the house and once again they had fleas, they were never what I would call infested, but any fleas is not good as they can multiply rapidly.
These collars MIGHT kill ticks, as the few I saw were sluggish or not well attached. I used to use a product called FleaFree and my dogs never had ticks or fleas, regardless the amount of time they spent outdoors (I live in rural Arkansas and have wooded property).
I bought these collars thinking it would be less hassle than dosing their food every day. My mistake. My neighbor bought a $7collar that works better. I’m going back to the FleaFree and saving me and my dogs the aggravation.
Heck, even vinegar will repel fleas and ticks, although it won’t kill them. If they are not on your pet, then there is no problem. These collars do absolutely nothing for fleas so far as I can tell, neither repelling, nor killing them.
Extremely disappointed and $110 poorer. The waste of money is bad enough, but they only make matters worse as the pet owner thinks he is eradicating the little parasites, when in fact they are multiplying.
I should have taken a picture of the live fleas underneath the collar and posted it here. Never again.
The pets in our house receive love in frequent Caresses’, Brushings, Gardens for play and Special beds for sleep. Above ALL, they receive New Seresto Collars on Valentine’s day each year ! Thus, they are protected throughout the year from those nasty ticks and fleas that would love to snuggle into their fur and pester the cats and dogs all season.
Stopping our capture /neuter/release program of 35 years, didn’t leave us free of cats. We three ranch wives found ourselves still with cats, after the “DUMPING” ceased. And, praying we outlive them ! We were fortunate in finding homes along the way, for kittens and adult cats that were eager to have forever homes.
But, unfortunately, there are always the few that pass the “cute-adopt me” stage. Our ranch is currently “BLESSED” with 9, yes NINE varied aged, varied breed CATS – All of whom are loved dearly by all who share their lives.
Along with 2 small dogs, expenses would be great if not for PET MEDS ! SERESTO cat & dog purchases are our most important ! With SORESTO, we have never had an infestation of fleas. With the collars they are free to roam our gardens and acreage in comfort.
The collars are VERY IMPORTANT to us and the pets lives. We don’t need to round up the population for monthly treatments- have no worry a treatment has worn or washed away. Collars can be removed and replaced for bathing and grooming.
I sometimes wonder = JUST HOW DID WE MANAGED WITHOUT THEM ! ! ! ! Yes, the collars may seem a bit pricey, BUT WELL WORTH IT ! Lane Unser BBB Ranch Dripping Springs TX.

We used frontline regularly and to the day every month. Our very sociable Sproker stills managed to get a flea infestation whilst on this. She selfishly didn’t indicate she had them with excessive scratching 😂 so therefore our house also got a dose of the fleas.
A great deal of time has been spent on de bugging both the house and dog. We comb her through a couple times a day, we have noticed we’re now only finding 1 or 2 a time and they appear to be juveniles ( not reaching full maturity).
They’re also near dead when they’re removed, so the collar does appear to be working. We have used indorex spray for our home which is better than the several other brands we had tried, although it requires more than the 1 can suggested.
Last fall I was fighting a Brown dog ticks infestation indoors. Topicals weren’t working to protect my dogs at all. I was pulling dozens of ticks off them daily. Bombing the house and spraying indoors and out.
As soon as the collars went on my dogs the ticks around them died. No more ticks latching on to suck their blood. The ticks went away in my house by December. So I thought! They suddenly reappeared or rose from the dead just before Easter.
No doubt they went inside the walls or other hiding places to come out again in the spring. My dogs have remained tick free since Nivember when their collars went on. My 17? year old German Shepherd, Zoe passed in March so I will only be ordering two collars this time.
I’m grateful that her last few months she was happy and didn’t have to be drained by blood sucking parasites or have me constantly pulling ticks off her. Hoping the tick cycle will be broken soon as I am still finding hundreds of dead and live ticks looking to feed.
Highly recommend this product. Nothing else worked and I didnt want to use an oral medication.
The website is normally quite good and they replied fairly quick to my complaint but I am not happy with the product I bought: Seresto Flea and Tick Control. After few days of wearing the collar my dog started to get bumps on his neck.
I took it to the vet and it was an skin infection and prescribed antibiotics. When I removed the collar to apply the treatment, I discovered the inner side had 3 flexible rubber spikes. These, together with the heat probably provoked the sores.
I wrote to Pet Drugs Online and they said they were going to write to the manufacturer after I provided the batch number. Unfortunately I didn’t think of taking pictures of the sores or spikes but I do have the bill from my vet (almost £90).
After removing the spikes I apply the collar again when the sores had healed and I’m checking for any reactions but, so far so good but I’m still waiting reply from the manufacturer. Please check that the collar inner side is smooth before putting it on your dog otherwise it will end up being a very expensive Flea and Tick Treatment!.

If you’re not familiar with martingale collars like this one they are designed to provide just enough cinch in the neck give your dog a message when he pulls, but not enough to cause discomfort. I like them because you get to set the amount of cinch yourself when you adjust the collar size.
The Ruffwear Web Reaction Collar is well suited to communicate with your dog about the pace of the walk. Never end up holding a leash with an empty collar! If your dog can outsmart the average collar I’m talking to you! The beauty of a Margingale collar is it cinches tighter when your dog stops, backs up or tries to slip out of the collar.
This style is really perfect for dogs with smaller heads like greyhounds and whippets. See also the Chain Reaction Collar for a Ruffwear martingale style collar.
I have owned a total of 10 rescue dogs in my life, mostly large breed. The last 2 dogs are living in a city/country setting and need to know a lot more behaviors than our previous dogs who just lived in house and garden.
These 2 dogs now need to know city walking, country walking, no pulling, elevators, cars, how to behave at a store, etc. I have tried almost every method of dog collar and harness. This style of dog collar was recommended by a trainer and is proving to be the most versatile, comfortable, and all-around for our needs.
The cloth is comfortable for the dog and the chain is a perfect reminder if/when she needs correction, the sound of the metal is an added reminder for the dog without hurting or scaring her. The harness just had her pulling me over and the chain-only choke collar resulted that she refused to go out on a walk because she was scared.
We are using this collar for everyday and for training sessions. Best all-around collar for a large, energetic dog.
For the number of tags I need to have on my dog, separate attachment points for tags and leash are a must. Everything on one ring would be a difficult mess. My Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy is growing quickly, and making small size adjustments a couple times each week is no problem.
Once set, it stays set no matter how hard he pulls, no matter if the collar is dry or wet. The webbing hardly absorbs odors, and a quick wash and air dry gets rid of what little there was. My only regret is that my rough-and-tumble beast of a puppy will outgrow his medium collar in another month.
I’m ordering a large Top Rope collar next, and someone is going to get a really sweet hand-me-down!.
Tell pesky parasites to ‘bug off’ with the Hartz Groomer’s Best Flea Comb. Appropriate for cats and dogs with all coat types this fundamental grooming tool easily removes fleas flea eggs and other debris from your pet.
The stainless steel teeth are gentle on delicate skin and as an added bonus are helpful in detangling small mats of fur. Plus the ergonomic design allows for maximum comfort and control that will have you and your furry friend enjoy grooming together.
I have 3 pets: a domestic shorthair cat, a pomeranian, and a cur. All 3 recently got fleas for the first time so I ordered this comb, among other flea removing/preventing essentials. This comb worked for all 3 of my babies, collecting fleas and eggs.
No problem whatsoever with the change in texture of all 3 fur-types, this comb did it’s job. The comb is solid, very well made. It’s comfortable to hold, thanks to the rubberized grip. The comb itself is made of metal and has rounded tips so it glides comfortably against their skin vs scraping and hurting them.
It’s a great price and works like it should. Highly recommended!!.
My cat has thick hair, I use this comb to remove loose hair all over after deshedding her undercoat. She gets cranky when i use a slicker brush but likes it when i run the comb gently on top of her head, face, neck and under/in between her legs.
The thin metal bristles are spaced closely but allows you to comb through fur smoothly. This would be better if it’s double sided with a wider spaced metal bristles option. The handle has an easy grip feel, it’s comfortable on your fingers.
I’ve been using this on my cat for a few weeks now and so far she’s not fighting with it.
This comb seems to be a good quality, and it works great on our cats. We were able to verify they had no fleas. Though there’s a picture of a German Shepherd on the package, don’t fool yourself into thinking a flea comb will work on a dog with a thick double coat.
Our dog has a very thick coat, and deep down I knew no flea comb would work on him. I was right. I can’t get this more than a couple of millimeters through his fur before it’s stuck. I’m not taking off any stars, though, because Hartz can’t control the laws of physics.

It’s a Natural Choice! Made of natural fibers, these durable, earth-friendly collars will look great on your dog and show your concern for the planet. The soy fibers have a soft, cashmere feel that your pet will love.
The dog collars have anti-bacterial properties to control odors.
We’re very happy with the Coastal Pet Products, New Earth Soy woven collars. We’ve been using them for our dogs for over 8 years now. Every so often having to replace them. Not so much from wearing out, as I can’t get the stains out! But I prefer these fabric ones for several reasons.
these are SUPER soft and comfy, if I’m going to have a collar on my frenchies all day with their sensitive skin this is one of the few that I feel good about them wearing for extended periods. They wash up really nicely and the buckle is strong by not too difficult to unclip.
Flea, tick and mosquito bites can be very painful for your dog. Worse, those bites may expose your dog to irritation, itching and even deadly diseases. Fleas may cause Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) and if ingested, fleas could cause tapeworms.
A bite from an infected tick can transmit diseases, such as Lyme disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever, to your dog. And mosquitoes may transmit heartworms or even West Nile virus to your dog. K9 Advantix II is a veterinarian-recommended monthly flea, tick and mosquito treatment for your dog that kills through contact.
The Well & Good Flea and Tick Treatment Shampoo for Dogs & Puppies offers an effective yet gentle formula that helps keep your furry friend’s coat clear of ticks and fleas. This cruelty-free shampoo is made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients and is free of chemical dyes.
It’s also unscented, making it a great solution for pets and pet parents who are sensitive to fragrances.
I live in California so we work to prevent fleas all year long. Having multiple dogs, we look for products that can be used on all of them. I really like this Well & Good flea shampoo. I like that it doesn’t have an overwhelming chemical smell like most flea shampoos.
It lathered up really well and rinsed clean. I use it in between topical treatments. I’m very happy with it. We have had no flea issues. It’s mild but effective so we have had no issues with dry itchy skin from the ingredients.
Well & Good is an awesome brand. I have liked everything I have tried of this brand. This particular flea and tick shampoo is also good. It lathers well and doesn’t have that overpowering chemical smell like other flea and tick shampoos have.
It is still there. Just not as potent. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell. I wish it had a better smell. I think a scented flea and tick shampoo would have made it better. Other than the scent this product is great.
Okay, so far this is working rather well. My dogs are very sensitive and this soap has not irritated them. I don’t see any fleas or haven’t got bit by any since I started using this for them. It does have a bit of a strong smell but nothing over bearing.
It’s a thin formula so don’t put too much when bathing the dogs because a little can be stretched. Overall good product to have for this summer since fleas are such pests during that time of year.
I bought this item for a completely different reason than Fleas. I just moved to a rural area where my German Shepherd kept getting into the bushes in the field and coming back inside with briers stuck in her fur which took forever to pull out one at a time and she wouldn’t sit still long enough to get them all out.
I bought this item and the larger side of it worked great and didn’t hurt the dog at all like I did pulling them out with my fingers. Hopefully I won’t have to use it for a flea problem but it will be handy to have.
My Great Pyr / Anatolian mix requires combing every day to release his dense undercoat. I’ve tried EVERY tool available and this little comb (using the fine side) is the ONLY tool that works. Gave one to my groomer and she loves it too.
I bought this comb because I have another like it and wanted a spare. This is my favorite comb for my kitties. It goes thru their hair and doesn’t pull. Kitties love to be combed with this comb! They also like to be sung to while I comb them!! Thank you Petco for stocking these wonderful little combs.
They make taking care of my kitties and their fur really easy.
Now available without a prescription, Seresto flea and tick collars protect your cat for up to 8 months in a single application. The Seresto collars can be used on Kittens from 10 weeks old. Other Seresto collars are also available for dogs under 8Kg and dogs over 8Kg.
I first bought a Seresto collar as it was very difficult to administer other methods of flea and tick protection to my cat. The collar proved to be extremely effective with no signs of fleas or ticks over the 8 months of use and Suki now has his 2nd Seresto collar.
The only downside came when trying to remove the collar, as otherwise I would have given 5 stars. I was surprised there was no information about how to remove it in the information leaflet that came with the collar.
However I found a video online and followed the advice. The method demonstrated was to pull at both sides and stretch the collar until it snapped however this did not work as there was no give at all in the collar and it frightened the cat.
I then resorted to cutting the collar at a predetermined breaking point, but normal scissors were ineffective and my husband had to get a pair of tin snips from his toolbag. It didn’t feel safe to be cutting off the collar but it was a last resort.
I bought collars for 2 of my cats, Maggie and Cosmo, as they were being irritated by fleas. Maggie was particularly causing concern as she was getting scabs around her neck and tail end from flea allergy dermatitis.
The collars worked *very* quickly, as within a few days I noticed that both cats were scratching less, and I didn’t find any fleas when I ran a flea comb through their fur. Until then I’d been at my wit’s end, using flea product after flea product on both the cats and my house, to try and get rid of these pesky, and very persistent, unwelcome house guests! A great result, and the collars definitely do work.
However – there’s one thing I think it’s important to know if you’re planning to use this collar on your own pet. The nature of the collar design (stepped/ridged on the inside) *can* cause some light abrasions in places around the neck, so for the first few weeks at least I’d recommend routinely checking all round your cat’s neck (parting the fur if you can) to make sure there are no irritated areas of skin.
After about 4 weeks of use Maggie had a tiny area on her neck that looked like a light graze, and a few slightly scabby-feeling patches of dry skin. I took the collar off for a few days to let her skin recover, then put the collar back on.
I’ll repeat the process if it happens again. In summary, these collars definitely do work, and I like that I don’t have to worry about applying spot-on treatments (which the cats hate). However, I recommend putting the collar on as loosely as you can, so that it’s not pressing on your animal’s skin too much and potentially irritating it.
I also recommend checking the skin every few days and briefly taking the collar off to let any grazed area heal. If you keep an eye on things your pet should be fine :).
My immediate impression was that this was a high quality product as it came in a durable, reusable tin. The collar itself is made from grey rubber and is fully adjustable. It looks more functional than aesthetically pleasing so it would be nice to have it available in a selection of colours.
I received this product free for reviewing purposes and received an additional Christmas charm to slide into the collar. It would be good to be able to purchase additional charms would allow me to personalise the collar.
I did have concerns about how safe such a durable collar would be if our cat caught it on something but I tested out the quick release performance and it worked well. I couldn’t smell any chemical odour on the collar and our cat didn’t have any reaction to it.
He is used to wearing a collar and took to wearing the Seresto one well. It’s a bit early to be able to assess the longevity of the flea killing and repelling properties but, although the price point of this makes it a considered purchase, it utilises veterinary standard medication and if it does keep our cat flea and tick free for up to eight months then it would be good value.
Having used products that contain various chemicals and noting the unusual effects it was super to find a tick collar that is natural and does not have the adverse side effects of the chemical type. May have taken slightly longer but our Labrador and we are very pleased with the collar.
The preventic collar is fantastic. It keeps the Ticks off of our too Goldendoodles. We live in a very rural on 40 acres with about 200 or more acres around us, all trees. The trees are oak and drop lost of leaves in the winter.
The favorite of ticks. Before these collars even taking nexguard once a month they came inside with live ticks which got on us. since preventic we have not seen a tick in the house for 3 months. If lyou live in an area with tics this is the best product on the market to keep the tics off your dogs.
LOVE this collar. No chemicals that I don’t want or need on my dog. Hard to find in larger sizes for a while. Most effective collar I have found for JUST TICKS. THANK YOU FOR STOCKING IT! Have it on AUTO SHIP NOW!.
Get effective protection from fleas, ticks and mosquitoes with K9 Advantix II. This vet-recommended flea and tick control kills and repels mosquitoes, a benefit not found in many other flea and tick products.
Biting fleas, ticks and mosquitoes are not only a nuisance, they can spread disease and make your dog sick. Just one application of K9 Advantix II kills fleas, ticks and mosquitoes for 30 days. Evenly apply the entire contents of the K9 Advantix II tube to two to six spots (based on label directions) on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail.
At each spot, part the hair until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel a portion of the solution on the skin. The formula starts to work within 12 hours of application to kill fleas and keeps working for one month.
Use year-round to help keep your dog protected from biting and infesting fleas. Do not use on cats; use only on dogs.
Kills adult fleas, eggs and larvae. Biting fleas are more than just a nuisance for your dog. Left unchecked, they can cause serious disorders such as flea allergy dermatitis, secondary skin infections, tapeworms, and even anemia.
This topical flea treatment lets you stop fleas before they become a problem. Used just once a month, it stops fleas from biting in less than five minutes, killing 98 to 100 percent of the fleas on dogs within 12 hours, and keeps working for a month.
The dead fleas can’t lay eggs, and the dead larvae can’t hatch, breaking the flea’s life cycle and halting the infestation in its tracks. A powerful solution, it also repels and kills ticks before they can attach and mosquitoes before they can bite.
Applied before the start of flea season, it helps keep your dog from becoming infested in the first place. Used year-round, it prevents fleas from over-wintering in your home to feast on your dog next season.
Gentle enough for puppies as young as seven weeks and older, the flea control remains effective even after bathing, water immersion, or exposure to sunlight, without the need for re-application. We have a very small Chihuahua and a large-sized German Shorthair. We decided to give the Hartz InControl Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs and Puppies the ultimate trial by testing it on our Chihuahua, Pique.
Pique is as picky as they come when it comes to food, treats, water bowls, dog kennels, flea and tick medications, people’s laps, blankets, etc. It’s nearly impossible to get him to take a pill, so we tried out this collar in order to skip the trauma of attempting to get him to take his monthly flea and tick prescription pill.
The collar was easy to cut to size and sneak on Pique while he innocently (and trustingly) slept on my son’s lap. It is very soft and flexible, which helped so much. There is a dual buckle we could easily secure that gave us a little confidence that he’d not immediately bite out of it or pull it off upon waking.
To our great surprise and delight, Pique awoke about 30 minutes after we put the collar on and was none the wiser. It was awesome and funny, but we were still apprehensive that he’d figure out the evil deed we did to him while he slept so trustingly.
Fearing he’d bite each one of us (individually and continually in revenge), Pique shocked us and never seemed to mind his new collar! The light weight and flexibility must have been tolerable to him, as our normally revenge-seeking Pique never came after any of us, even when he discovered the collar was on his neck a few days later.
He tried very hard to wiggle and bite out of it, but the collar held up and he quickly gave up his efforts. Whether the Hartz InControl Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs and Puppies is effective is yet to be determined, as we’ve only had this collar on him for a week.
It should last about six months, according to everything I’ve read. I cannot explain to you, however, what a relief it is to know he is protected by this collar with such little trauma expended at his end (and at ours) after sneaking it on him.
My family has used Hartz products for years, even when I was a little kid! So I trust that this collar will be effective for its entire six-month period. Thanks to Hartz for once again making something amazing and helping to keep safe our little terror of a dog (and our fingers)!.
IN Control adjustable dog collar is the best of the best. My lab has a 24 inch neck and I was surprised about how easy it was to put this collar on. Hartz InControl kills fleas, ticks, repels mosquitoes, and prevents flea eggs from hatching for 6 months.
My bella is a house dog, and before we used this collar, she would go out and come back in scratching and digging. Once we were introduced to Hartz’s collar, all they stopped. Hartz InControl collar has a unique patented comfi-fit structured collar with soft flexible textures with a dual buckle system that keeps this collar in place.
It’s very easy to fasten this collar, and the pups don’t seem to mind it. Another good quality of this collar is its waterproof. So your pup can swim play in the rain water, or get her bathe, and this collar will still be effective.
I recommend Hartz InControl Flea and Tick collar to all pet lovers for their pets over 12 weeks and older you will love of because it will protect your pup from head to tail and you will save money by only having to buy this only 2 times a year.
I took my dog to a friends house whose yard was COVERED in fleas. I tried everything to get rid of them and nothing worked. My poor dog was getting chewed up and they were started to get me too. I gave her numerous baths with dawn and tried the expensive flea drops.
Still would find fleas on her a couple days later. I treated my yard and my house and they were still on her. I have always heard flea collars didn’t work and I had already spent a ton of money trying to get rid of the darn fleas.
I went ahead and decided to try it because my poor baby was miserable. I was amazed at how quick it worked. By the next few days the fleas were gone. I did not comb out a single flea. I gave her skin a couple days to heal before giving her another dawn bath but she didn’t even need it.
They were gone. Her skin healed up and they never came back. The fact they last up to 6 months is amazing. I can’t believe how awesome this collar is. She is a Pit Bull and 90 or so pounds. I recommend this collar to everyone I know with a flea problem and everyone has been blown away at the results.
A robust, low-maintenance collar in strong, highly visible colours – the CONVENIENCE collar is ideally designed for working with your dog. Dog training, agility work, mantrailing or simply weekend walks, the CONVENIENCE collar can tackle everything.
The CONVENIENCE collar is available in various colours, including strong neon shades. These colours are also very helpful for outdoor work, because frankly they are highly conspicuous! But even if you “just” go out walking with your dog, you’ll soon find the benefits of this collar indispensable.
It is manufactured from an innovative, hard-wearing plastic composite. The material is waterproof and stain-resistant; if required you can simply wash or wipe it down and it will immediately look like new again.
My husband and I just finished installing the Hunter Meridale ceiling fan. Neither of us our pros. It’s beautiful and lights up the big bedroom really well and it’s very quiet. My husband put it together on the floor and he says the globes were super easy to fit together.
Then I helped hold it while he connected it to the ceiling. It’s heavy! He says the hardest part was figuring out how to ground it since we are using a remote (optional you have to buy it separately).
Love this fan! HERE ARE MY TIPS: 1) Put all the parts out on a table and confirm you have everything. Put the little bolts etc in their own separate containers and label each container with the part number.
This took about an hour. 2) Build the unit on the floor. Another hour. 3) Install some of the parts in the ceiling. 4) Now you need two people – one reasonably strong and the other quick with their hands.
Connect the fan to the ceiling parts. 5) Turn it on, sit back and admire your handiwork.
TheHunter collars are exquisitely made and high quality. Only problem is the width of collar looks too big on our dog while the length is perfect – the size down had a narrower collar which would suit better but the length would probably be iffy as she is between sizes.
Will hang on to the collar and see how much more pup grows – wish Hunter would make a line of narrower collars with the same lengths as the thick collars don’t suit every dog or may be bulkier. The shop was pleasure to deal with.
I loved my Elk leather no tangle dog collar. Cliff is a Pekingese and this collar was perfect for my little man. I loved how soft the leather is and the quality finishes. Would be great if it came with a matching leash but as luck would have it, i accidentally came across a matching leash from a different brand when I popped into a pet store to get a pet tag made for his collar.
Some people may argue that natural flea and tick collars for dogs are ineffective, while others may swear by their efficacy. Ultimately, it is up to the individual dog owner to decide whether or not to use a natural flea and tick collar for their pet.
