20 Best Air Fryer For Indian Cooking In Usa (2023 Updated)

Ive had mine for two years and use it 3 to 4 times a week. I bought two more as gifts and both recipients rave about theirs. Very versatile and efficient way to make delicious and quick meals. Especially enjoy roasted vegetables and meats/ seafood.

Theres a bit of a learning curve to adjust cooking times to suit your taste. The manufacturer backed their product when I had a minor issue with mine by replacing it (free) with another brand new one and let me keep the original as well.

I highly recommend this product.

Received this little Air FrYer from my daughter for Christmas/ Up until now have only used for heating up small thing & French Fries. So this weekend I decided to use it to make a batch of chicken wings.

Set on 375 for 6 minutes x2. It cooked them fie, but then the machine totally blacked out. No power what so ever. Totally disapointed, because I really liked this appliance. Now I have to go out and buy somthing else.

I bought this item mostly because of the reviews. I had a convection oven for more than 20 years and was still working, but it looked beaten down and I wanted to upgrade. Since my grandson is staying with me for a while, I thought to get an air fryer because he makes a lot of potato fries.

First of all, when I unpacked the air fryer I saw that the rotisserie spit was the wrong size for the rotisserie basket. I called the company phone number and spoke with a representative who sent me an e-mail asking for a lot more information than I thought was necessary.

Anyway I sent the information. She wrote back to say they were out of that part but would send it when it came in. The next day I tried cooking some potato fries and it took about 15 minutes before hot air came out of the fryer.

A couple days later, no hot air came out after 30 minutes. I packed up the fryer and returned it.

Was very excited to get this new model. Duel drawers etc. Works great, (so far) and have cooked numerous meals, finding we need to kinda adjust the cooking times etc. Chicken breasts cut in half so thinner, still were far from done.

But that is the only thing that we noticed. Does frozen French fries really nice and Pork chops, and even T Bones and Portahouse. Haven’t tried the simple burgers yet. Still waiting for the credit from orginal one that was recalled.

We loved it and couldn’t wait so after three months went out and got this one. Hope we arent taken advantage of and get credit soon. but will say this one is a four star for sure.

Good quality item, just very strange that you are forced to choose a preset to simply use the air fryer, and the presets are mostly for items you wouldn’t even use an air fryer for or don’t match common air fryer directions printed on food items.

I just want to turn it on, have it set at the default of 360 degrees, which most air fryer directions call for and use it. Instead I’m forced to choose a preset, where none of the presets are accurate for what I want/match the directions for and adjust it *every* time.

Obviously they didn’t bother to focus group review this item, if they had they would know people just want to turn it on and have it be set for the same settings as last used. No wonder that such an otherwise quality item is forced to go on special so cheap!.

Horrible odor. The manual clearly states that there will be a smell that quickly disappears after a few uses. I thoroughly washed the trays, wiped the machine down. I ran it several times at max temp out in my garage, letting it cool down each time.

Cleaned the trays again. I then brought it back in to the kitchen and cooked a few things. I used it about 10 times total, and it took over a week for my garage and house to smell normal again instead of the nasty burned plastic smell from this unit.

I returned this piece of junk.

I had been using a Philips Premium model that according to multiple reviews that supposed to produce better than average AF’ed food. However, my experiences have been more or less hits and misses. Then comes Cuisinart AF.

The difference is quite obvious despite being a much cheaper unit. The Cuisinart AF is much more powerful and efficient (while requiring less wattage !!), less noisy, and producing much tastier food.

It takes only a few minutes to create perfectly done asparagus or chicken wings, and I am finally able to make AF’ed food that actually tasted like it actually came out of an AF oven. Only complaint I have is I wish there’s internal lighting.

No problem with the mechanical dials (love this actually).

Overall this little thing is fantastic! I have cooked chicken legs in it and even as compact as it is one can fit at least 6 legs with room to spare. I actually used a bit of flour seasoned with salt and pepper and lightly dusted the legs before cooking.

I did also lightly spritz them with olive oil I have in a spray bottle. They came out like they were fried in grease and were crispy on the outside and VERY juicy on the inside. I always check meats for the magic internal temp and these were perfect.

The drip pan and cooking basket fit very well and I can remove them easily when hot by using a pot holder. It’s a bit tight for an oven mitt. Once I clean it and let it cool and dry I store mine on the counter on it’s back end, front facing the ceiling, and cover it with a plastic shopping bag to keep dust off.

Cleaning. This one is not the easiest to clean to me. I wipe the inside walls and window with a soapy rag then with a rinsed one. Afterward I reheat the oven without the drip tray and basket to 450 for about 5 minutes or so just to finish the drying and burn off anything I may have missed.

The drip pan is easy to clean but the basket is a bit of a challenge, even using nonstick cooking spray. But I have a small nylon brush I use after letting it soak and scrub it good. That works for me.

Other than the cleanup, I am very happy with this air fryer and will be cooking many more things in it, like pork chops, and some vegetables. I’m sure it will be perfect for the job!.

My husband bought me this for Christmas, and unfortunately after that I had gotten extremely sick that I never had the chance to even use it. On Mother’s Day I awoke to a beautiful breakfast made by my daughter using this appliance.

She made me a beautiful quiche which for the first time in the longest, I was able to taste. Thankfully I recently regain taste and smell… and tbh this toaster has been a little life saver. No conflicts.

I purchased the KALORIK $160. Version from Sam’s. I have had an EMERIL version since it was introduced. I wanted this because it was bigger. I was so excited when it arrived. I followed directions to set it up.

I plugged it in and immediately noticed that the oven temperature was missing the first number. It took weeks to get a replacement. I pulled it out of the shipping box and the first thing I see is a 4″ long piece of electrical wiring unattached to anything sticking out from one of the side vents.

My deceased Husband was an Electrical Engineer. I knew that I could be electrocuted if I accidentally touched that electrical wire. Sams told Me that I would have to contact Kalorik Customer Service.

BUYER BEWARE–Customer Service is a joke for this Company!!!! I could not possibly be telling the truth. So after having over$330. of Mine They REFUSED to send Me a working oven and picking up the two DEFECTIVE OVENS.

So I am out a large amount of money. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!!.

This air fryer broke down in less than 9 months. I was told my 1year warranty with Kalorik would have to be honored before any other warranty. I have been dealing with their customer service for over 35 days by cell and email, to no avail.

Finally I was told I could return the oven and they would send me a return receipt in 5 – 7 business day. It has been over 12 days and nothing. They also started the 30 period for returns. I now have less than 18 days to return an oven that I have not received a return label.

The concept is good I enjoyed the oven just cheaply made. Now that I know that customer service is just as cheap, I will go back to my Power XL Oven. DONT BUY.

We have the Aria standard air fryer but we wanted to condense some of our small appliances together. This is slightly larger than our current toaster oven. You can put 2 small pans side by side if you desired.

I’ll be able to toast more for holiday brunch which will be awesome! We made yummy chicken wings last night. They came out good, but being from Buffalo we will alter are recipe to make them crispy.

Great Unit! Only one thing we do not like is the power button is not black lite! It is very hard to see it. The Manual pictures and the picture online show it is back lite. We contacted the manufacture thinking our unit was broken, but they said the Power button has never been back lite.

Other wise this is a great unit, it clean up really easy.

So many functions. We’ve used all of them. Most used appliance in our house. So much better than microwaving, & nearly as fast. Food tastes much better. Excellent for making meals quickly.

Bought and promptly returned this air fryer. It cooks terribly! First, the design of the baskets is terrible. They are narrow and deep so, although the capacity of basket is good, you have to stack the food up so it does not cook evenly and does not crisp because the air can’t circulate well.

Second, the baskets are hard to clean. Most air fryers I have owned have a mesh basket inside that keeps the air circulating around the food and makes them easy to clean because you can remove the mesh basket.

This does not have that. There is only a small elevated plate in the bottom you have to kind of pry out to clean when you’re done. Last, things do not crisp in this air fryer. We tried chicken nuggets, fries, skinless chicken breasts, etc and they all come out looking microwaved, not crisp or browned.

These are all items we’d made many times before in other air fryers. Overall, this fryer is just non-functional and useless.

I’ve owned and used the Chefman Family Size 5Qt Digital Air Fryer for one month and I am pleased. My previous air fryer the Best Buy Insignia was recalled and I found myself experiencing a type of withdrawal because I missed it.

Well my new Chefman has filled the void. It is easy to use and clean. There was a slight plastic smell when I opened it to use it for the first time, but after a few uses, the smell is no longer there.

Also in the box was a sampler of parchment paper to be used in the air fryer. Nice! French fries were the first food I tried in the Chefman and they came out perfect. Since then, I’ve made fish, chicken and veggies in the air fryer.

I don’t think there is words to describe how much I love this product. Clean up is easy. Almost everything goes in the dishwasher. I love the preset button when cooking chicken, fish, French fries. Everything comes out perfectly cooked even through.

This air fryer is ok at best. Not very efficient and doesn’t really do the job like other air fryers. It was a waste of money and counter space. Go w/ a different brand.

We use our toaster oven for most meals, as there are just two of us and we eat frequently at our studio. This Kalorik MAXX is a major upgrade from our Oster toaster oven. On first use, it exceeded expectations.

We air-fried julienne-cut sweet potatoes, rubbed with a touch of olive oil. They turned out beautifully: browned on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. We also fixed a frozen chicken entree in a pre-heated cast-iron skillet on the convection setting.

Set at 450 degrees, it thawed quickly and browned nicely on the outside before we added the sauce. This is a real convection oven—not just a toaster oven with a fan—and the difference it makes in the taste and texture of food is profound.

It also cooks much more quickly than our old toaster oven. I look forward to exploring all the options and learning to use it better, but it’s impressive right off the bat. Our first impression is that it’s a great appliance and a major improvement over a regular toaster oven.

I’ve owned many toaster ovens and this one is by far the best for baking. I have never had a toaster oven that baked bread, cakes, and cookies so evenly without burnt edges or one side being overly cooked.

The instructions for the Kalorik oven suggest rotating your goods, but in my experience so far, that hasn’t been necessary. I have airfried bacon and it came out crispy but not burned. I’ve toasted bread and again, crunchy but not burned.

The oven looks great sitting on my countertop. Somehow it is bigger and can hold larger items inside, but it has a smaller footprint than my previous toaster oven that couldn’t fit near as much inside.

Go figure. One thing I’d like to note though- this oven beeps very loudly. Perhaps that’s a good thing if you have a larger living space and need to be able to hear it, but I don’t have a large living space, so it kind of sounds like an alarm going off, lol.

But I don’t care, the oven functions so well. I recommend it!.

I bought this for my daughter to take to college. She used it a few times and it quit working. I went to take it back and they told me it was out of the warranty date. It is practically brand new. I wouldn’t recommend.

First of all, I love the color!!!! It’s decent size for a family of two. If you have a high family you might want to go for a larger size. But for two people it’s good enough

I have owned for a litte over two months now and use daily in the am for potatoes with my breakfast. Tots and hash browns turn out really, really perfect! I have making some meats, and reheating some food and all turned out really good as well.

Pizza got crispy bottom and foods were fully reheated, unlike with the microwave. I also tried the dehydrator function and as it did work pretty well but it is something that I need to play with a bit more and get the science down of that method.

The one thing that bugs me about this machine is the touch screen buttons are a bit finicky sometimes and need multiple attempts to push to change. It also isn’t terribly, annoyingly loud, compared to another air fryer I have used.

It’s not dead silent but I can run it without it being more than white background noise. All in all, I love this machine and think it works really well and would recommend to someone in the market for a multi-use machine.

I will say the app from them sucks as it doesn’t really give you much air fryer recipes and doesn’t really filter out the results too well. I really wish the machine came with some basic guideline recipes/times for the dehydrator and food but so it goes.

I bought it because I wanted to try air frying foods and I had some gift cards. 1) it’s VERY small. You cannot fit a whole chicken. (Costco bag of 3 whole chickens, not a single one fits) 2) Strong smell of plastic for the first several usages and it really permeates for a long time (days) 3) Buttons are rage inducing and completely non-deterministic.

You can tap it 10x and it might register once or twice. I find that if one button doesn’t want to be ‘pressed’, you can press another one and then go back to the original one. It seems to be caused by bad software, but hardware is possible too.

The most honest way to describe this item would be: Easy bake oven for adults. On the bright side, it warms up VERY quickly (up to 400F) and does a decent job at cooking and reheating certain things like frozen foods, fish filets, etc.

I use it mostly as a toaster oven for hash browns, occasional fries and fish filets. I did a comparison between my deep fryer and this item for fried chicken. Half the batch went in the oil and the other half in the Vortex air fryer.

The chicken in the deep fryer was perfect and delicious whereas the chicken in the air fryer was absolutely NOT crispy, took much longer to cook and the meat was dry. I feel like the marketing behind ‘Air Fryer’ is not based in reality and should be investigated for being misleading.

I really like the vortex plus. Not sure why there is a complaint about it’s overall quality. I have cooked roasts, pork loins and small chickens in half the time of a conventional oven. The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 5 is because of 4 specific reasons.

1) my biggest annoyance about this model is the obnoxiously loud and high pitched beeping sound (that makes my whole family cover their ears) when turning it on, setting the time and temp, the “ready for food” alert, the “almost done/check food” alert, and the “done” alert.

The fan is also very loud, sounds like a very loud microwave 2) you get 2 trays but can only use one at a time because it does not cook evenly. 3) unlike most other air fryers/ portable cookers, it needs to preheat so you have to put the tray, rotisserie basket or stick on an alternative surface while it preheats; very inconvenient, especially with raw meat.

The temp goes to high for preheat to put the food in first. 4) because it preheats first, getting the rotisserie basket or stick in place can be a challenge since it is so hot.

I’m able to make a full dinner in less than 30 minutes because of this miraculous contraption. I usually start making rice on the stovetop, then throw in some Brussels sprouts in the air fryer about ten minutes in, then salmon 5 minutes after the brussels cook and cook the remainder of the time with both the veggies and fish in the basket and voila.

A miraculously easy, tasty, and wholesome meal. There are countless things you can make in an air fryer so I will keep experimenting; it’s also lovely how straight forward and easy this is to use. Doesn’t take up much counter space either, and it’s relatively easy to clean.

I received this as a gift and have been using it for a few years. This was my first air fryer so I can’t speak to how it works in comparison to others. Able to cook things well, seems to reach the correct temperature.

Biggest complaint is that it’s pretty bulky, takes up a lot of counter space. A bit difficult to clean if you don’t do it right as the basket is cooling. My biggest complaint is that there’s no off button? So if you want to keep it plugged in, you have to leave the basket a bit open so it’s not actually on and running.

Odd design choice.

This air fryer is absolutely fantastic. I had one that was many years old so this was a total upgrade. It cooks much faster. The capacity is much larger, perfect for a family. You can literally make anything in here without hearing up the whole house! An entire chicken? Yep.

Grilled cheese ? Yep. chicken nuggets? Yep! Anything. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Just purchased the Emeril Lagasse 5 qt. air fryer and my daughter and I love it. We started off with fries both frozen and fresh they turned out great. we’ve done frozen onion rings. Today we fixed barbequed wings they were delicious.

I am looking forward to trying even more things. It doesn’t take long to cook a meal and the clean up is easy. I would certainly recommend the Emeril Lagasse 5 qt. air fryer. I found out their is many more things to air fry.

I’ve been wanting an air fryer for a few years and was looking for one that was great quality, held enough food for my family and didn’t break the bank. This is it! I was so glad when I found a YouTube video that eased me into using it for the first time.

I made buffalo wings for my son and I. I’d made a minor mistake that wasn’t the fault of the air fryer. I can only get better from here! I’m making fish in the air fryer for dinner this evening. Looking forward to it! I’ve mentioned this air fryer to a few family members and friends and some of them are interested in purchasing it.

I couldn’t find the picture of the one I have but it’s the digital one. I bought it from Walmart on their black friday sell. I purchased it for 40. 00 and it’s one of my favorite. I have had a couple of air fryers but this one I like the most.

It has plenty room and cooks all my food to protection. It comes with a recipes book with favorite air fryer recipes and a cute thank you card.

The Crux air fryer that we purchased has a faulty temp down button. It is extremely difficult to change the temperature in the down direction. The increase temperature button seems to be working correctly.

We did use it once and we were very pleased with our brussel sprout recipe on one side. We were disappointed that the French fries needed to be spaced on the bottom surface. We were only able to cook a handful at a time.

If you want to use both sides of the air fryer at the same time, the cook time is doubled! This actually rendered the purpose of having the extra cook space useless! It would be just as easy to have a smaller unit and cook twice! The Crux is HUGE in its counter presence! We will be returning ours since it doesn’t even work as intended.

You will need a large kitchen and a lot of time to enjoy this appliance.

I really love using this new air fryer. I like the duel baskets because I can cook two different items at the same time. You can even toast bread inside of it! It’s very versatile and it although I have a convection oven this air fryer artesian series operates a lot cooler and easy cleanup.

My only suggestion or comment that needs reply is that I would love more training on how to use it. I wish there was a website where I can learn how to use it a little better than what the manual has inside of it.

There are so many functions that it is more than an air fryer so I would like to use it to its full capacity. Never had a problem with plastic smell or buttons not working. Don’t think it’s loud at all I think it’s great!.

The Crux Artisan 9 qt digital air fryer works amazingly well. I love the dual basket, separate temperature feature. Especially love that it gives you a reminder to shake the basket when cooking. Great for cooking two dishes at once or just one small batch.

Digital makes it super easy to see and adjust. The baskets are non-stick so cleaning is a breeze and they are dishwasher safe. Melted cheese slid right out and I sprayed crispies right out of the basket, no scrub.

Since using this I’m actually thinking of purchasing one for a friend too. Even the kids can operate this for snacks or quick meals from the freezer. I’d say it makes my life easier. Happy user here!.

Writing this review exactly 1 year after purchase. We have used this air fryer at least twice a week since we purchased it. I think it is now one of our favorite kitchen gadgets. I cook biscuits, toast sandwiches, hot dogs, frozen foods like corn dogs and nuggets, etc.

Anything I seem to put into it, comes out amazing! It has held up very well, with zero issues. Digital screen still works like new, the exterior stainless is in great condition also. The tray bottom tray insert dis have the little rubber/silicone tips fall off but it does not affect anything at all.

To be honest, my wife washes the bottom insert in the dishwasher, so I think the little silicone tips got knocked off in there. They are just in place to sort of snug it down in place but as I said, they have zero affect on anything other than that.

It still stays in place just fine and probably our fault for washing the tray and insert in the dishwasher all the time. I will say that the coating on the interior tray still looks great, even with not always washing it by hand.

If it broke tomorrow, I’d run out and buy another immediately, that’s how much we love it. I think it will be around for a couple more years, but time will tell.

My son bought this for my birthday a year ago. It took me about 9 months to start using (old habits die hard!). Now that I’m using this air fryer, I’m learning how it works and the different uses. This product came with very limited instructions which is very frustrating.

Mostly do’s and don’ts. It does not instruct how to push buttons of operation. Of course they are not buttons but printed areas that you touch to “start , stop and change time and temperature “… I have one huge complaint with these touch areas.

That is, it’s absolutely frustratingly difficult to change the time, temp, cancel/stop, etc. I have tried the two available methods: touch and hold AND repeatedly tap…. When, for example, I want to change the time from the preset 15 minutes to say 10 minutes, when I press start the time reverts back to 15 minutes! The same thing applies for the temperature.

I must let it start and then struggle to get the time and temp that I need. Lastly, the stop/cancel function is the same thing. No matter if I tap or tap and hold, the air fryer maintains the ready to start function.

I wrote all of this for the benefit of the the designers. The sensitivity of the buttons may needs adjusting. Thanks.

I’ve had three 5qt air fryers in the last two years. (The recall of Best Buy air fryers in 2023 made me replace the digital one I mostly loved. ) This Chefman was the first shot and it’s a good air fryer.

But the little things are what matter and this is about why I returned it. If these things aren’t a problem, this one could be for you. The unit is narrower and drawer taller, so yay for a wee bit more counter space.

But IMHO food cooks better in a shallower layer, so a wider, deeper area is better. Maybe a wash, you decide. There is no basket. Yay, one less thing to clean. but the basket tray thing here. meh. I decided I prefer the design with handle on basket that detaches from the drawer.

Again, maybe a wash. And this thing beeps. A LOT. I don’t need to be reminded that my food is NOT YET DONE and certainly not repeatedly for 15 SECONDS STRAIGHT! I could not find a way to disable this “feature” (a screwdriver would have worked, but no, not on a brand new thing).

Finally, the price on the analog version of the air fryer I mostly loved dropped to $5 less than the Chefman and this was the final nail in CHefman’s coffin. Thanks, Best Buy Pricing Roulette! and bye-bye Chefman.

You tried, but I guess I’m just too hard to live with.

I looove air fryers and have had several. None have been especially better than the others. My only requirement is that they be large enough – 10 quart or greater. The last one I had was the Power Air Fryer XL.

It was excellent, but I would occasionally wish I had something that could cook two things at once but in different baskets. So, I bought this for that reason. And it is huge – takes up the entire portion of my small side counter next to the stove.

Take a look at the dimensions if you have a potential issue with the size. Anywho, the double basket feature is nice, but when I’m not cooking two separate things it really isn’t a benefit. I have a large family and some things, like fries, just form one big pile and I have to constantly shake the basket to ensure they cook evenly.

Yes, I could use the two baskets at once for one item, but then I’m cleaning two baskets and don’t always want to do that. Other issues I have is that it doesn’t pause cooking when you pull the basket out to check on the food – you have to press the control knob – never had to do that with any other air fryer.

Also, you have to press the control knob between almost every action. Other than those things, is a nice air fryer. Get parchment air fryer liners to save on cleanup and ruining the nonstick.

Bought this air fryer because of the great reviews and the dual baskets to air fry two items at once. Was a great air fryer! Easy to use buttons and looks nice. Ended up returning it for the xl verson though, as the baskets were a bit small on this one, especially if only doing one layer.

Now having tested both this one and the xl, the buttons and ease of use are better for this one than the xl, but fir me, the size of basket still won out of ease of use. Love how fast this cooks ans heats up as well! Also have used the instant brand air fryers, and although those are built very well too, they have this preheat and cool down mode that adds an extra few minutes on each end where the ninja seems almost instant for cooling and heating, which is great when I’m tired after a long day of work and just want to make a meal real quick in under 10 minutes.

One thing I dislike though is when cooking two baskets at once the power is reduced, so cook times do need to be slightly longer. If they had the same power rating as just cooking asingle basket at a time it would make this a 5 star unit.

I have always wanted to try an air fryer. Reading reviews about plastic smell/taste filling your food/home always stopped me from taking the leap. My mom bought me this one for Christmas. I watched a lot of YouTube videos before using.

A lot of people recommended doing a “dry run” on the air fryer before cooking food in it for the first time. 400 degrees for 10-20 minutes is supposed to burn off that plastic smell. I did it twice and didn’t feel like it worked (also, open your windows if you can) Next I tried the lemon juice vinegar trick.

Get two oven safe containers. Fill them both with 1/2 cup of white distilled vinegar and 1 TBS of lemon juice. Place one container in each side and run your air fryer for 10 minutes on 400 degrees. You may have to repeat the treatment.

I did it twice (washed everything in between treatments) The first thing I made was tater tots. Sprayed the basket with oil olive and cooked according to package instructions. Was not disappointed. I got crispy tots that did not taste/smell like plastic.

They did not stick to the bottom either! A few days later I successfully made popcorn shrimp and corn dogs. 75 shrimp pieces fit on side one, and four corn dogs fit into side two. No bad smells or tastes! Don’t let those other reviews scare you.

The treatment really works. Best Christmas gift ever.

I purchased this unit for the smokeless feature and the rotisserie feature which other units do not have. Unfortunately, BOTH features failed miserably. The unit fills my apartment with a grease smell as if I was frying food on an unventilated countertop.

I can clearly see smoke leaking out of the front doors which is likely causing that grease smoke to escape as well. I have to use this unit on top of my stove and turn on my range hood vent on high to prevent my place from smelling like grease for days.

Second, the rotisserie feature is an epic FAIL. I had a small 3. 2 lb chicken and it would not fit in the oven and rotate without touching the top or bottom of the oven (even when the dripping tray was removed).

In addition, the oven takes longer to pre-heat than my large oven (at least 15 minutes) before the blinking pre-set selection stops blinking. Instructions and pre-sets are way off. It says in the manual to pre-heat but then if you wait that time everything burns if you wait for the pre-set time to count down fully.

There are inconsistencies in the times and temps in the manual versus the quick start guide versus the pre-set temps and times. All in all this product is 100% garbage. I purchased a “crisper basket” from Amazon and used that in my regular convection oven and voila – the same results, no smoke, crispy fries and wings.

PS I am a regular home cook and thought this product would be great but sadly I will be returning it for good resons.

The Kalorik Air Fryer Oven Grill 26 Qt with digital display is a kitchen appliance with the ability to help prepare a lot of different meals. I love the sleek and design of this appliance so much! I love the stainless steele look as well as the French doors.

I also like the digital display and how easy it is to use. All the functions are right in front of you and all you need to do is push it and start. Something else that’s nice is the name Kalorik stays lit up even if it’s not in use.

I think that is a nice touch. You can do almost anything with this appliance. You can airfry, grill, bake, broil, make toast, and even make a whole rotisserie in it! It also comes with everything that you need pan wise to be able to use each of the functions properly.

I feel like everything cooks well and at decent times. The air fryer part is definitely one of the settings that I use most often. It makes everything cooked super crispy just like frying would do without all of the grease.

I also like that the appliance can be pushed back on the counter but there are bumpers to prevent it from going all the way back so it receives the proper airflow needed. The only thing I noticed that wasn’t my favorite was that the doors have to be completely open or shut.

There is no in between, which isn’t a major issue. You just have to be careful and let go of one of the doors because it’ll slam shut. But aside from that it has been a pretty nice appliance to have and I would recommend it.

I can’t be in to see enough about this air fry oven. It is more than what it is advertised to be. I am thoroughly enjoying the rotisserie feature for chicken and Polish sausage for lunch. the oven leaves a caramelized crunch to the outside of each sausage that tastes delicious and leaves you salivating for more.

There are multiple uses in the do work as advertised. If I have any criticism it may be that you need to adjust the time for cooking according to the size of what it is you’re trying to cook. For example, if you cook a 4 lb chicken the 30 minute time suggested maybe perfect.

But a larger bird wil take maybe 45 minutes instead of the suggested 30 minutes. It just common sense and not any design flaw. This oven is great beyond words!!!.

This is my 3rd air fryer, beginning with my first 3qt 2 years ago. I was really excited about the design not being a standard basket as this seemed that it would be much easier to bake in existing bakeware ( never could find muffin tins to fit my 5qt.

) The first meal I prepared in my new fryer was simple; chicken tenders , tator tots, and cauliflower tots. Unfortunately, the tator tots on the top shelf burned and most were actually hollow inside, while the cauliflower on the 2nd shelf and chicken on the bottom shelf were way under cooked.

I have since learned that cooking multiple items require rotating the shelves around during cooking to assure even cooking and doneness. I prepared steak, lobster, and breaded shrimp this past weekend which required the steaks being cooked first and covered in foil, then the lobster tails and wrapping in foil while baking the shrimp.

This added additional time to the overall cooking time, and the foods each being at slightly different temperatures. But, all in all, the meal was delicious, especially the lobster. I also have difficulty in sliding the shelves into the very narrow slots on the sides of the oven.

Usually takes me 3-4 attempts until I finally have to use both hands and get very close to the unit so that I can see the slots and slide them into place. It would also be great to have a tool that easily attached to the shelves for removal to avoid burning knuckles and fingers, which I have done several times even though I was using a pot holders.

I tried using the rotisserie handle as it seemed ideal for removing the shelf, but it does not work. This type of design or similar would be a great improvement for future consideration. I may try to figure something out on my own.

That said, I love air fryer and use mine everyday for something. I would have given this item 5 stars but for the shelf design and extra time needed for cooking multiple items.

I thought we could do a rotisserie chicken in this Power Air Fryer as it states on the box but you’re limited to a three pound chicken or two tiny Cornish Game Hens. If you are willing to hand wash the entire inside of the fryer each time you use it and willing to find space for the big fryer and all it’s pieces and only cook small amounts of food you might like this.

For us it is too much of a hassle and there is nothing I can do with it that I can’t do in my oven. The first realization of this being another appliance that will be used once and then live in your pantry or basement was reading the instruction manual.

The first thing you have to do is make sudsy hot water and wash the entire cooking space in the fryer with the sudsy water, rinse it with a wet cloth and then after it is dry you run the fryer empty to burn off oil and residues put there in manufacturing.

Burning off industrial oils and heating plastic up to 400+ degrees isn’t my idea of fun in my kitchen. While the oil is burning off you are to hand wash all of the metal parts for the fry basket, shelves, rotisserie and bottom pan.

Then you can cook some french fries or other food and repeat the cleaning process all over after the food is cooked. I can set my gas oven to 400 degrees and air bake fries in 17 minutes and I don’t have to wash the oven afterwards plus the pan with the fries goes in the dishwasher.

I returned this Air Fryer unused to Sam’s Club.

The reason I purchased the Dash oven was to broil steaks. I really hate using the oven broiler, (very inconvenient) and would nomally use a charcoal grill outdoors for the best results, but I live in a fire hazard area.

The Dash oven has four upper heating element rods (instead of the normal two), and I was hoping all four would be used for broiling. Not true. Only the outer two rods are used for the Broil function.

However, all four rods are used for the Air Fry function, but that means the convection fan is ON. I was hoping to broil without the fan, using just the traditional infrared radiated heat of a broiler element, instead of convection heat transfer of the circulated hot air which tends to cook the side of the steak not facing the broiling elements, instead of the high temperature sear of the side of the steak facing the broiling element.

Although the Dash does a reasonably good job of broiling, I found another product that does indoor broiling better. The Cuisinart AFR-25 is a smaller-footprint air fryer with a single upper broiler element, similar to a regular oven.

I really like the results with the Cuisinart AFR-25 using the air fry function (there is no Broil function, or ANY other function) set to the max 450F. Even though the Cuisinart does use a fan, somehow the geometery, or whatever, works better as a broiler for steak.

The Dash has a number of tray positions to adjust the distance of the meat to the upper heating elements. The Cuisinart needs a DIY mod to place the meat at the right distance from the heating element.

I used a 9 inch diameter circular tray with three legs, available from either Amazon or eBay. The legs can be bent at an angle, or a vise could be used to bend the legs at a right angle to reduce the height appropriately.

Both ovens use mechanical timers. You’ll need a digital timer, such as a phone or a digital kitchen timer, to properly time steaks when broiling. The Cuisinart has an internal drip tray, which I use to set the other tray on top of, so they can both slide out at the same time to prevent fat dripping on the front door glass when turning sides, etc.

The Dash has an internal drip tray that can be placed over the bottom two elements (which I don’t use for broiling) as well as a slide-out drip tray that sits under the bottom heating elements. But one would need to slide out the internal drip tray and the meat tray at the same time to prevent the fat dripping where you don’t want it.

The Dash can do two steaks, the Cuisinart can do only one at a time. But at about 3 minutes per side, two steaks can be broiled within 15 minutes in the Cuisinart. Both ovens are similar in price, but the Cuisinart is cheaper.

I don’t use either oven to do any other cooking. My favorite oven is the OMNI large size oven made by Instant Pot. It is electronic with a great display, the digital timer can be set for many hours for longer cooking, has a great interior light, many rack positions and a good slide-out drip tray.

The convection fan can be set to LOW or HIGH, or even OFF for certain functions, such as Air Fry or Broil. Unfortunately, the circular spiral upper heating element is NOT used for broiling, but this is my favorite oven for anything other than broiling.

The Dash can be purchased cheaper than the larger OMNI Instant Pot oven. Unfortunately, I can’t rate the Dash or the Cuisinart ovens for anything other than broiling, but I suspect the Dash oven might be a bit more versatile than the Cuisinart oven, but not as pleasant to use as the OMNI oven.

This air fryer oven is small but mighty. The footprint is small but it can hold a lot. I bought it to replace a huge convection toaster oven that was hogging the counter. This is the third air fryer I tried and it is the charm.

It’s made of metal which means I don’t have to wait for burning plastic odor to dissipate. It has all the cooking temperatures and functions that I need. The best part is that it cooks quick and doesn’t heat up the kitchen.

Dash has made the perfect multifunction appliance for me.

This oven has been great so far with one minor exception. The door does not close properly all of the time. You have to push it closed sometimes. When the door is closed properly, the light comes on and the heating elements begin to heat.

Be careful to not burn your food because it cooks much faster than a normal toaster oven. My wife said that it was well worth the cost because the fried shrimp and scallops were the best that she ever had.

Not to mention healthier because you don’t need oil.
