20 Best Air Dry Hair Products For Frizzy Hair (2023 Updated)

I have been using this product for 1. 5 months now with 2 hair wash days a week. For reference, I have thin (hair density), medium-fine (hair thickness), medium porosity (hair moisture absorption/retention).

It is considered long, layered, and recently dyed dark black; however, natural hair is already closer to brown black (just had bad balayage from 2 years ago that fades bottom). I use the revlon brush once a week and sometimes followed by hot tools.

Prior to Dreamcoat, I was trying out multi-tasking leave ins for years like Pureology Colour Fanatic, Redken One United (top 2), It’s a 10, Ouai, Olapex 6&7, Eva NYC mane magic, and Shea moisture’s styler (top 2).

My usual routine before my revlon brush would be shampoo 2x (sometimes Olapex 3 in between washes), apple cider vinegar rinse, hair mask in shower (alternating between hydration, protein, combos-based), leave-in conditioner, then Paul Mitchell’s skinny serum.

I had pretty silky hair, mostly free from split ends too. I tried dreamcoat on its own after the shower then blow dried and my hair looked shiny and bouncy. Nothing different than my usual results though, other than one-less product used.

But dreamcoat couldn’t compete with San Francisco’s humidity. After one shift at work (indoors, but public-transportation commute) my hair was frizzy at the roots! I was able to brush it smooth again that night and apply argan oil to my ends which made my hair look nice the next morning.

However, it kept getting frizzy on the days leading to my next wash so I was applying more products closer to my roots. The buildup was getting me oily faster. I think my hair needed more moisture which I would get with the multitasking leave-in then sealed and shined with skinny serum.

I also learned after 2 weeks, my hair needed more heat protectant because ends were dry and splitting. So basically, I ended up using dreamcoat 2x a week w/ heat protectant. 2 products again post-shower, but the other combos last longer w/out dryness.

For reference, my hair is 2a, almost waist length, low porosity, thick with average/slightly coarse density. It’s also darkest brown/natural black. Bc of its color & porosity, it is already very shiny.

However, I do struggle with frizz, especially after blow drying. I was recommended this product by my stylist and was very excited to try it out based on the claims. Now, because of how my hair is, I know that no matter what it says on the bottle, I will need at least twice that amount of product.

I read the reviews before buying this and knew it wouldn’t last me long. One use is about 1/4 of the full size bottle for me, at minimum. I would’ve been okay with that if it worked well, but that hasn’t been my experience.

I’ve tried it twice: the first time, it did nothing, but I think it was user error — I don’t think I used enough product and I also don’t think I blow dried w/ enough tension. The second time, I used a TON of product and took a lot of time to make sure I blow dried well.

It did. a little? Right after blow drying, it was as frizzy as ever. After brushing and letting my hair cool, there was some improvement. I ended up straightening it with a bit of argan oil on the ends of my hair.

The results I got: – less frizzy (still gets frizzy easily, but I can tame it with finger combing even when out and about) – silky/ gets less tangled – my straightening lasted much longer than usual Results I didn’t get: – glass hair (my hair is no shinier than usual, though it’s always pretty shiny) – lasting through shampoos – no frizz (definitely still get it, just maybe 50% less and easier to tame) I believe the hype, I honestly think it just doesn’t work as well on my hair (and with my skill level — I wouldn’t be surprised if a professional could get it to work).

Based on the results I got, I’m more likely to try another product for this issue instead of repurchasing. I just don’t think it’s worth the price for the results I got & how much I had to use !.

Pros: Seals cuticle before styling, acts as a styling barrier, smooths, softens, adds mega shine, smells wonderful, If you have long thick hair that doesn’t style well this basically forces it to relax and conform.

Cons: You must know your limits with the amount you use, it may take a few uses to find the correct amount to not make hair greasy. Also, it is very expensive. This stuff is top tier. I have very long, thick, wavy, course hair that has multiple levels of porosity from older damage.

This transforms my hair almost completely. If you are someone that has to straighten hair BEFORE you curl it because it so frizzy/wavy this will help drastically! I still have to straighten my baby curl/waves around face but it helps smoothen and almost re-texturize my hair.

Depending on how much hair you have you will want to put on less or more. With my hair being lower mid back length I use a glob a little bigger than a quarter and start from my ends up and then put in a clip bun to help air dry and seal product in so it doesn’t hit my back and shirt creating a product or wet spot.

i have thin, fine, curly hair (that i straighten) and have always been wary of any styling product that isn’t mousse or hairspray because EVERYTHING either weighs it down or makes it greasy (or both).

having been bleaching my hair for the last year though i really needed something more moisturizing to keep the frizz under control and give it more shine and this??? 10/10. i use one pump on my wet hair before blow drying, then usually another half pump after to smooth it down a bit before using a flat iron, then a little bit more to finish if i feel like i need it.

my hair is VERY short so believe me when i say even using that much product doesn’t weight my hair down or make it greasy, even if i put it right on the roots (which i do sometimes to control my frizzy baby hairs).

This stuff is the real deal. I have thick, coarse, damaged, and extremely dry long type 1C-2A hair that is literally impossible to tame and to hydrate. I’ve spent so much friggin money on leave ins and styling creams and serums.

I truly wish I would have just gotten this from the beginning of my hair care journey. Since I’ve been using this in combination with either the Moroccanoil hydrating leave in conditioner or the Bumble and Bumble hairdresser’s invisible oil primer my hair has been sooo soft and hydrated.

It totally seals my split ends and doesn’t make my hair feel greasy or oily. Also, it smells divine. It’s my holy grail and I’d recommend this to anyone with thick, coarse or textured hair.

I was excited to try this product because I love Garnier Fructis shampoos and conditioners. However I’m rather new to their styling products, so I thought “why not give it a try”. I have thick, curly (type 3c/4a) African American natural hair.

I wanted to give the Garnier Fructis Smooth Air Dry Anti Frizz Cream a fair chance so I started off with freshly washed hair and made sure to get all the product out, including the conditioner. I sectioned my hair into four and since the first ingredient in the cream is water I put a cotton t-shirt around my head to absorb some of the water (so the product could penetrate better) and further eliminate any frizz.

When I took the t-shirt off my hair was still pretty damp. I started with a section in the front with a little quarter size amount of product and as soon as I applied it, it felt like I didn’t put anything at all in my hair.

The product is extremely light weight with initial application. I personally like heavier products for my hair because I can feel the moisture penetrating through and coating each stand of hair. It was almost like I couldn’t exactly feel what this styling cream was doing.

So I began to apply more. As I began going through the sections and applying more product to my hair I could feel a sticky film developing on the strands as the product began to dry. When I was done applying my hands and my hair were both sticky.

However the product did begin to define my curls for the drying process. So I let it air dry (which took normal time of about 3hrs) to see if the product on my hair would feel different afterwards and what I was left with was a waxy hair cast of stiff curls.

Hair casts are normal after applying styling products so I didn’t think anything of it. Usually when my hair is dry I just scrunch out the hair cast and I’m left with soft curls underneath. However I went to scrunch my hair out and although my hair was left very soft I could still feel traces of the waxy texture in my hair.

I could also see little flurries of product falling from my hair every time I touched it. The product did define my curls but I just didn’t like the overall feel of my hair at the end. I think this product may work best in conjunction with a moisturizing cream or with an oil but by itself it is not for me, which is why I gave it only two stars.

Overall I think this is a pretty good product. I always let my hair air dry and was thrilled to find a product that smooths and controls frizz that you don’t have to use damaging heat with. First of all the smell and texture of it are really nice, it feels smooth and creamy with no greasy or sticky feel.

I’ve used a few times now, applying it right after towel drying my hair like the directions say. I have waist length hair and found I needed double the amount they suggested which is quarter sized. I also found it helpful to squeeze out and apply it a little at a time in sections.

My hair took the usual 4-5 hours to dry and once it was dry I was pleased that my hair still kept it’s natural wavy curls, and was not sticky or greasy or hanging in strings like with so many other anti frizz products.

It actually made my hair seem thicker and fuller which is a plus for me because my hair is so thin. It lasted the full 4 days I go between hair washes without making my hair feel gross or overwhelmed with product.

I also tried putting curlers in my hair after using it and while it didn’t help set them anymore than usual it also didn’t prevent the curls from turning out, and there was definitely less frizz! The downsides of it are that I still have quite a bit of frizz on the upper part of my head where I have a lot of new hairs, though the rest of it was frizz free.

It also made my hair harder to detangle which made it important to wear it up while I sleep which I usually do anyway because my hair tangles so easily. I think overall this product is well worth it and I will continue using.

So far it’s the only product that has done anything to improve the look of my hair, and it’s quick and easy to use.

I was hoping that this would allow my waves to shine. I didn’t feel it was too helpful in taming the frizz, and it was too heavy. My hair wasn’t as shiny and frizz free as I hoped. I would use about a quarter size amount on my hair, which is mid-back length, and brush it through.

I’d also twirl the hair and scrunch it to help my waves take their shape, but my hair would be stick straight and frizzy once it dried.

If you have curly or wavy hair, check out this entire brand. I have 2b/2c hair and this cream is amazing if i am blow drying my hair after hair wash day! Not only does it get rid of frizz but it also contains heat protectant up to 450 degrees.

One of the things I love about this brand is called “6-free haircare” which means NO silicones, NO harsh sulfates, NO artificial dyes, NO phthalates, NO parabens; and NO DEA. As a girl with wavy/curly hair silicones and parabens make my hair feel awful, so i typically avoid products that contain those ingredients.

You don’t need much of the product, but apply it root to tip. This product is good for 18 months after opening. I use this with my dyson airwrap and i have the best hair day like I just got a fresh blow out!.

I have curly fine hair that I have been air drying for the past year. In the spirit of hope and needing a change I decided to try a new product for blow drying my hair and then using a curling iron. Hoping the product would protect my hair and prevent frizz.

I could not believe how great this product works. My hair did not frizz, was soft and full of body. My style actually lasted all day. It is August in Florida. Which means HUMIDITY. And my hair stayed styled and frizz free.

I did buy the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner in trial sizes as well. So it probably helped that I used the whole farewell frizz line. And I am going to continue to use it! Also the scent is very light and pleasant.

I was told by 3 different Sephora employees that this brand was magical and I wouldn’t be disappointed. They were wrong and I definitely wish they weren’t! Unfortunately, this product is so heavy on my hair and leaves a weird film.

My hair felt rough and got easily tangled whenever this was in it. Before I started using this product, my hair was extremely soft and rarely got tangled! It flowed well and I didn’t need to do much with it but since I wanted a heat protectant without a bunch of additives, I decided to give this a try.

I do have to give it 4 stars for its price, as the bottle is small and and $34. 00 if you have longer hair like I do, even though you you only use a few pumps at a time, it does seem to go quick. Someone with shorter hair may not have this problem.

But, also with that, you don’t want to over do it with using more then a few pumps as it will leave your hair looking and feeling oily and greasy. Not only can you add some to hair masks already in your arsenal to enhance shine and add reparative qualities, but it can be used to tame flyaways and reconstruct the hair shafts bonds! I love this product and will always re-purchase it.

I just ran out and the only drawback for me is that I cannot see when it’s almost out, but even a frequent user like me with waist length hair gets a good bang for my buck. Mine lasted a year! I received this product for free from Influenster and Tresemmé in exchange for my honest review. My main issue with this product is that there are no written guidelines on how much product to use. With the first use of this product I used a quarter to half dollar size amount for my medium-long hair and while it did make my hair silky smooth, it also made the top/ root area appear greasy and I had to wash my hair sooner than I would have if I hadn’t used the product.

With the second use I used a nickel to quarter size amount of product and made sure to use it sparingly toward my root area. This product made my hair so soft and smooth that I was able to come through it with a fine tooth comb and usually I’m struggling with a wet brush.

The product also smells quite nice. I would likely purchase this product for myself if the price point wasn’t too high. I would also recommend to friends and family to at least try.

The results of this product are very visible! I like to use it very often now to avoid damage to my hair from heat products, and it is one of the better products I have run across. It does smooth flyaways, and It prevents the extra frizz some individuals may notice with air drying their hair.

The smell is also nice, lightweight and the product texture is lightweight as well. Purchased at target and price point was fair for what you get. I recommend you try this if you’re a fan of air drying your hair.

I got to try this #complimentary product from @influenster and @tresemme I really like this! it’s easy to use, good texture, and leaves my hair soft and manageable and my waves are defined too. usually my hair is a poofy, kind of frizzy disaster after air drying which is not a huge deal since I sleep on it and style it the following day.

but, with this cream, I found it much easier to style my hair and i probably could have left the house the following day without styling it. I mean, it wasn’t perfect, but it was tousled and cute enough to skip the styling tools.

I am so impressed with this product that I’m going to be purchasing it from now on. the photo is after running my fingers through my hair. a little wild but definitely less so than usual.

I know it’s hard to justify buying Olaplex or any product that cost more then the average. This product is %100 worth it. I have fine oily hair that gets damaged at the ends as I am a blonde so I use this as a leave in treatment.

I usually get two to three days between washes thanks to the holy grail of dry shampoos the one by redkin in the pink can. Anyway the night before I wash my hair I lather this through then comb it an hour before going to bed.

Let me tell you the absolute difference in my hair as I use the Olaplex shampoos and conditioner as well has been life changing. My hair is so much softer and easier to style it doesn’t have that brittle crunchy feel.

It took about a month for me to really see results and I was getting compliments. Also I have oily hair and the shampoo and conditioner from Olaplex doesn’t make it any more oily so I switched to it.

I also now add in the purple shampoo they have. My hairs under my ears in a bob I dry it with my daughters Dyson then just put a few loose curls on the top layer and around the face leaving the ends out just to give my hair texture (ps.

The new ghd is amazing I think it’s called ghd platnium I got the white, when they say you only have to go over your hair once they mean it. I tried using it as a straightener the other day for something different my hairs medium and I only had to go over each section once.

It’s amazing. I will say just in this side note it’s not as long in length as the older versions so if you have really long hair maybe look in store first. If you are skilled in using a straightner you will be ok it’s just I noticed straight away how much shorter it was, but for me it’s great as I have a bob.

) ok back to Olaplex it is a system and they do recommend using the system together, but as I have oily hair this is just not a product I’d put in then my mousse and style my hair as it’s oily. If you have thicker or course hair or very damaged hair that doesn’t get oily this is your product.

Hope this review helps someone and remember when buying hair care products for yourself think like me this is a form of self care. Hair means a lot to a lot of people and you feel good when it looks good.

I heard SO much hype about this company and was excited to try it out as my hair was damaged by chemical processing at a salon. However, I’m Very disappointed overall… I bought the full recommended products for my hair and some extras as my hair is really long… based on their quiz…however my hair is so now MORE dry and frizzy from it… Worse than it was before! The only product I felt was nice to use was the shampoo because it felt very moisturizing and didn’t feel like it stripped my hair…until I added the conditioner…then after rinsing it my hair felt so dry and crunchy! I also am not impressed with the smell of the products.

I like my hair to smell really good and last… but this doesn’t do it for me. Each product smells different and you can barely smell them. and I don’t like mint smell in my hair products unless it’s a clarifying product.

The other thing about this company I was not impressed with was their lack of customer service! If you buy from the company directly and need to return your products for a full refund, you have to mail it all the way to California and you have to pay for shipping and also don’t get your initial shipping cost returned! And then you have to WAIT till they get it in the mail before they refund you anything… There needs to be a better system where you can initiate a return and get a shipping label.

To return it, like all other companies do now in this age…very backwards. Won’t purchase this again and especially not from them!.

I’ve only used this product once, but I purchased it after seeing all of the fantastic reviews on Sephora for it. My hair definitely feels smoother, and dried faster while I used my drier brush to blow it out, and there are less waves in my hair than usual.

My hair is naturally wavy, but with the slightest turn of a brush, my hair will bend at the roots, or curl whatever way it wants while drying (just not in a very stylish way). This definitely helped tame the mane without weighing it down, as you can clearly see by how much volume I am still left with at my end result.

Only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is because as it was close to dry, but still in that “is dry, or is my hair still slightly wet” phase, it felt somewhat tacky. Totally dry that feeling is gone, but I was concerned it would leave an oily look and feel.

It didn’t, so that’s nice, but doesn’t feel nice while blow drying. Maybe less product next time? We shall see.

I was so excited to try the new gifted by Virtue Labs Virtue Frizz Block and was not dissatisfied! I start by applying to damp hair then proceed to blow dry. I have fine, wavy and frizzy hair and when using this Frizz Blocker my hair is left protected from the heat and my frizzy hair is left frizz free and smooth for days! I love for soft my hair feels and how smooth it feels too it really does work wonders when activated with heat to block out frizz and all.

I also love that it protects from UV damage as I like to be outside want to protect my hair as well from the sun so this is a plus too! I really have tried many anti frizz products over the years and this one really is up there in my favorites for being one with best results and long lasting ones as well.

I also need to mention I live in a humid area and this has still worked in the humidity to protect from frizz despite the humidity to my surprise which many products don’t in humidity. So if you are thinking about it just try it, you’ll love it!.

I almost never write reviews but this frizz spray deserves a parade. I have fine wavy hair and live near the ocean (lots of fog/humidity) so my hair is pretty much always frizzy. Even if I blow it out, it starts to get wavy/frizzy as soon as I go outside.

This stuff is truly amazing at banishing the frizz and keeping my hair sleek and straight. I’ve used it a few times now but most recently washed my hair before bed and used some of the 6-in-1 styler (love that stuff, too) and let it dry naturally.

This morning, I got it damp, used this spray, blew it dry with my Dry Bar blow dryer brush, and hit my curly bits around my face and ends with the flat iron. It’s now 8 hours later and my hair looks as good as it did when I left the house.

I will never be without this spray, it’s a game changer. Also, I paid for this, I didn’t get a free sample, and I’ll gladly pay for it over and over again.

I think it helped my ends a little bit, but not as much as some of the other JVN products I’ve used. I also think it brought out the color of my hair a bit more, but again, it didn’t add the gloss and dimension that I had hoped for, probably because I can only use a very small amount with my hair type.

I really want to try it at night before bed when I’m not worried about my hair looking greasy, I think my hair would benefit from this product more if I used it that way. I can see this being amazing for thicker hair and hair with waves and curls, but as expected, I had to be very careful with it and don’t really feel like I would instinctively reach for this product given my hair type and the subtle results I got.

I’ve been looking at different hair oils, even though I didn’t really need one. I shower at night and use this as a sort of “finishing product” in the morning. My hair is pretty healthy (no heat usage and weekly hair treatments), with the only salon treatment I have done is a gloss with toner to cancel out the warmth.

I didn’t think that this product would do much, with even my hairdresser commenting that there’s not really anything else I could do to make it look better, but I was proven wrong! Not only does this add more shine to my hair (as it states it would do), but it does not weigh it down or make it look greasy in any way! I have medium-coarse black hair that is mostly straight except for the ends (from air drying), and I’ve found that it works best for me to apply three drops to my palm, rub my hands together, and then disperse through the mid length to my ends and go through the twice, with one finishing drop for my ends specifically.

I have applied too much before (an entire full dropper throughout my whole head, adding even more after that), but my hair did not look greasy, just shinier. I don’t think you can really go wrong with this product, and it looks amazing especially after you’ve used a deep conditioning mask and your hair is smoothed down.

It’ll last you a pretty long time, as I use about a dropper a day, and after having had this for a month there’s barely a dent in this.

I would absolutely recommend this product, for me personally I have very thin/fine hair and most frizz control products are oils or like oil serums etc. and those can be really heavy for me and make my hair really greasy and sometimes it’s so bad I have to re-wash my hair.

This stuff is like a gel and it actually works to tame my many fly-aways and control my frizz which is always really bad. I’m sure it would work great for thick hair as well but nonetheless I recommend all around for anyone because it’s the only type of frizz control my hair can use without becoming f gross feeling.

I freaking love this stuff! I usually wash my hair at night before bed. I used to just brush it out and sleep with it wet (bad, I know). But I would always wake up with frizzy, tangled hair. My hairdresser introduced me to this incredible product.

I decided to purchase a bottle because it smells sooo good and obviously because she recommended it to me. I apply it after towel drying to damp hair and then I brush it out. The next morning there is very minimal frizz! I can almost walk out with the same hair I wake up with.

Not sure about this it does leave my hair curly and not really frizzy but doesn’t last as long as I expected. It also dries my hair out I think. It’s worth ot for that little bit of frizz ease but then I need to mask my hair afterwards to hydrate.

I have mixed feelings on this 1. It also says its for straightening but I still find it leaves my hair dried out. It brings out my curls more lol.

I used this in conjunction with the smoothing shampoo and conditioner. I have wavy hair with a few spirals here and there, and I let my hair air dry almost every day, so I thought this would be a good set to try because I’m still looking for the right products.

I should have read the reviews for this more carefully before buying because yikes. I didn’t realize that you pretty much HAVE to use a detangler with it. I do not want yet another product added to the lineup in the morning.

I couldn’t get this through my hair without a ton of water. I got it in eventually, scrunched it, and let it air dry. It looked crunchy, so I tried to loosen it up. It just looked like garbage. The next day (today), I used a leave-in conditioner that I had stashed in a closet before using this, and it worked better, but still not great.

I want a whole system that works well together, so this and the shampoo and conditioner are all getting returned. Why do people rave about this stuff?.

i have very fine, thin hair with a natural wave- 2B. i love that this product is formulated for fine hair. It comes out looking like a gel, which worried me because I anticipated crunchy hair, heaviness, and high hold.

My hair wasn’t crunchy at all! It looked so shiny and piecey in a good way. This is a product to use if you shower in the AM. Unfortunately it will not survive brushing out if you sleep in it. It’s perfect to shower and go, I am usually a pm showerer so I can’t use it as often as I like.

It’s easy to brush your hair once it is dried but the beautiful shine and curl definition goes away with brushing. I am still figuring out how to air dry my hair to emphasize my natural waves. This is a great wash and go product and the shine blew me away.

My hair is used to being blown dry so I am still working on my curl formation, this product will be helpful for those who want to emphasize their natural hair type without sticky or heavy hold.

This was my first time using this blow dry protection cream and I have to say I love it! You only need to use a very small amount and simply apply it to your towel damped hair. Rub it in, or use your brush afterwards.

Then you are good to blow dry your hair with confidence. I love how it makes my hair feel smooth and it doesn’t make my my hair frizzy or oily. Affordable and worth trying! I will purchase this again.

It’s winter in Northeastern Ohio which means my city becomes a frozen tundra outside and a static charged obstacle indoors. Despite having a humidifier going in several rooms, my hair gets frizzy at just the hint of small electrical charge but Fructis Style Smooth Blow Dry Anti-Frizz Cream has come to the rescue of my locks.

The cream is a light weight, smoothie type texture that I applied to wet hair post shower in an attempt to have my hair not look like I’ve been rubbing a balloon on my head or that I’ve fried it beyond recognition.

The cream is meant to help tame frizz and provide a silky smooth texture to accompany any blow outs being done at home. With hydrating Aegean oil as one of the main components I knew that I was in good hands with this product.

The scent of the product is similar to others in the Fructis line, and one that I thoroughly enjoyed on top of my conditioner and shampoo I use in shower. I thoroughly enjoyed the fragrance and caught myself sniffing my hair throughout the day in enjoyment.

The Argan oil makes a huge difference in the quality of the product and for the low in store price it’s definitely a good treatment for your hair. It also helps to detangle the hair after showering which is something I always have to include in my routine.

I have fine hair but a lot of it, so it tangles very easily and can be a pain to brush. This product definitely helped ease the trouble I have in that area. One area that was a learning curve for me was knowing exactly how much product to use.

The first few washes I applied too much and it left my hair weighted down and oily, not the look I’m looking to achieve. Once you get the hang of it though this pain point is eased. Another area that I struggled with is trying to validate the claims of extending my blowout.

I found that my hair remained frizz free for most of the workday but my hair definitely was starting to frizz by the end of my 8 hour workday. There are many pros and cons for this product, and I’m happy to have been able to try this new product out in my own hair.

Unfortunately though, this is not a product that is compatible with my tresses. I would definitely suggest others try this though if nothing more than to moisturize their hair and use as an amazing detangler!.

Frizz, my hair’s nemesis. I’m willing to try anything short of shaving my head in an attempt to tame my lion’s mane so I jumped at the chance to test out Fructis Style Smooth Blow Dry Anti-Frizz Cream.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was the mild, fruity scent. It wasn’t overpowering, but it took me by surprise because the bottle touted the cream uses Argan Oil, which is derived from a nut, not a fruit.

I flipped the bottle over to check the ingredients and while Argan Oil is indeed in there, its buried down half way through the LONG list of ingredients. I’m not a stickler for all natural ingredients, but I felt this was a tad misleading.

Oh well, this minor annoyance isn’t enough to derail me in my quest for smooth, shiny hair. The bottle recommended working a quarter size amount through towel-dried hair before blow drying. I used slightly more due to the length and thickness of my hair.

I was pleasantly surprised that the cream was light-weight, absorbed into my hair quickly and didn’t leave my hands sticky like many oil based products do. Right after I finished blow drying my hair, I walked into the kitchen and the first words out of my husband’s mouth was “your hair looks nice.

” Now, normally right after I blow dry my hair before styling I get a comment like “Frizzo Rizzo” or “Fright Night” (true love right there folks) so I was stunned and pretty excited about the results.

I may actually be able to do my hair without the help of a flat iron or curlers!!!!! I was pretty pumped about my smooth hair while I was lounging around the house all day and was riding that high all the way through a play date in my neighbor’s backyard that afternoon.

Then I came home and walked by a mirror. My hair grew three size that day. So much for smooth and shiny results that last 24 hours. So in conclusion, this cream is awesome if you plan on staying in a climate-controlled environment all day but keep on looking if you venture outdoors.

Everyone’s hair is different. I have thick hair and also a lot of it. Slight wave, natural blonde. My biggest issue is frizz. I’m lazy with my hair, and 99% of the time air dry it, so I thought this would be an awesome solution.

1st, the smell. It’s not a bad smell necessarily, but it’s not pleasant. Good news is it doesn’t linger and you get used to it anyways. I used this for about half the bottle to really give it a shot (which is a long time by the way because a little does go a long way).

I think it helps with softness, possibly drying time (my hair takes hours to dry. Like 4+ hours). But it does absolutely nothing for frizz. Overall, even with the low price point, I’d rather pay more for something that actually works.

I like other products by her so definitely just based on hair type. But for me, this was a bummer.

I have been on the hunt for a good leave in conditioner that doesn’t break the bank for quite a while. I am a huge fan of the It’s a 10 leave in conditioners but i hate dropping $40 on them. I have a lot of hair so it takes quite a but of product.

So far this stuff has been working great for my hair. It’s light weight and makes my hair easier to brush through after a shower. My hair is quite healthy and shiny on its own so I wouldn’t say that this stuff has added any extra shine to it.

It does have quite a strong scent to it. It’s not a bad smell its just very strong and that is really my only complaint. It does however dissipate as your hair dries. If you have courser/curly hair I don’t think this would give you enough moisture like cream leave in conditioners can.

I have (mostly) straight hair and am not exaggerating when I say that this was a game changer for me. I currently a chin length bob and I really like the tousled “I woke up like this” french girl inspired look.

Mouse and salt sprays weigh my hair down and leave it looking dull and crunchy. This cream is so lightweight and you don’t need much to create beautiful soft waves. Just scrunch into your hair and you’re good to go! No 2000s ramen noodle hair here.

Also worth noting that I have eczema and I am sensitive to a lot of hair products, but this one didn’t irritate my skin at all. Almost out and off to buy more.

I loved IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel and waited a long time for it to be restocked. However, the new IGK Rich Kid with the palm tree label (instead of the old label featuring a girl) has a different formulation and fragrance – resulting in less coconut.

Comparing the ingredients list, the biggest change is that Tocopherol has been added and Achilles Millefolium (Yarrow) Extract accounts for a higher proportion of the fragrance. Overall, it smells less like coconut and more like a perfume with no coconut.

I plan to return.

I put this in my hair as a finishing set before I use the diffuser ( I also put a heat protectant, small bit of oil, root lifter) and diffuse. Doesn’t weigh it down. My hair is full, but this takes the frizz off and gives it that day at the beach, sea salt look.

Perfect ” I didn’t try too hard” texture to the diffuser curl. I wet it slightly again for a few days, use diffuser again, same look. Love it. I use quarter amount? Mid length down on long hair.

I have long, fine hair. I bought this product to use on the ends of my hair when wearing it down. The cream has a strong coconut scent, which I found to be overpowering. Whilst the cream did make my hair look glossy, due to the high levels of silicone in the product, my hair looked noticeably greasy on the second day.

Overall, this product didn’t really add anything special to my haircare routine; it doesn’t provide much hold, nor did it help me to achieve the ‘lived in’ look it promised.

I bought this and used it. I immediately loved my results and thought “this is what I have been looking for all along!”. But me being me, I went on to experiment with other products and put this one away.

Well I decided to try it out again and I immediately remembered that this is what I have been looking for the whole time!!! I have now just about finished up my second bottle and I will definitely be repurchasing (forever).

This stuff is moisturizing, but not overly moisturizing. It was made for air drying which is what I do most of the time and it is a one and done product. It isn’t going to give you “perfect polished curls” but more natural looking curls with a little fluff but not in a bad way.

It does enhance my curls and it is a great one and done product! LOVE IT!!!.

I have wavy hair. If I take a shower and try to let my hair air dry during the day, it never works out well for me – it loses all volume, the parts front half of it falls straight and frizzy, while the underneath parts at the back of my head will stay bouncy light and almost curly, in wavy ringlets.

Usually the only way to let my hair air dry so that the result is equal waves all around (like extreme beach waves – just before “curly”) is by washing my hair at night, and then going to bed with it wet.

Then when I wake up, beautiful loose curls/beach wave supreme. But with THIS cream, I have a chance of letting my hair air dry during the day and the waves staying! I don’t blow dry my hair, and I try not to use products because they always weigh my hair down but NOT THIS.

I’m so glad I read the positive reviews for this because those are what convinced me to get it. My hair is a mixture of thick coarse wirey hairs, and super fine soft ones. I have PCOS which has affected m hair thickness and texture over the past 5 years so I have to be gentle with it – but I still have to wash it every other day, if not daily because I have an oily scalp.

I also have to use a lot of conditioner cause my hair goes to about mid-back, and when it’s that long, the tangles are impossible to get out when it’s wet. BUT THIS CREAM DETANGLES IT. See the real trick to my hair is that I could never really comb it after a shower, because it would kill the waviness and just make it limp and frizzy.

But if I put this in it (and I put a really good amount alll over), an comb it through with one of those cheap big tooth plastic detangler combs, I’m all set. I love this stuff sooooo much. OH also the smell IS GLORIOUS.

I have frizzy, coarse, dry hair that tends to curl in the worst way, but only on the right side. The hair on the left side of my head is usually a little more behaved, usually. I purchased this looking for a way to tame my right side hairs while hopefully getting the left side hairs on good behavior.

In my opinion this worked, but only after using quite a bit more product than I prefer. Luckily, it does not leave your hair stiff or crunchy at all. It feels lightweight and just lightly defined my curls instead of making them super curly.

I will definitely repurchase, as I’ve run out of it already and it hasn’t even been 3 weeks! Not the bottles fault for being skimpy but mine for using way more than I probably need to.

I have had thick, dry, curly hair for so long. I can’t count on two hands how many different products, shampoos, conditioners, etc. etc. that I have tried over the years. None of them ever seemed to successfully hydrate my hair and give me the ability to style it.

Beyond that, I found that most products would make my hair extremely weighed down, which is a problem since my hair is already extremely thick and dense. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I loved, loved, loved this product! It is a an amazing air dry cream that leaves my wavy hair feeling soft, sans any of that crunchiness or heavy weighed down feeling other creams have, and it helps to define my unruly waves.

It left my hair soft, shiny, smooth (I’m also a frizz ball), and it smells beautiful. Not heavily perfumed, but a nice clean scent that smells so good. It’s currently monsoon season where I live, so it’s been extremely humid, and this product still helped keep my frizziness at bay, while leaving my hair feeling lightweight.

I also love that this is a clean hair product that also protects from UV damage. I live in an extremely sunny climate when it isn’t monsoon season, and any added UV protection is important. The ingredients include hemi-squalane, moringa seed oil, chia seed extract, which all help to smooth, soften, and add shine to your hair, and they work! I’ve been trying to use less chemicals when it comes to my hair care, so I was happy to have found a new air dry cream that does what it claims to do.

wow, this really works! got a little sample in my last SpaceNK order. Ive bought a few frizz creams and heat protectants over the years – I end up not finishing the bottle because they end up making my very thick hair weighty and greasy.

This is the most amazing product after first use ive ever tried. Its quite thick and I did use a lot (immediately regretting this as I thought it wouldn’t sit well) whilst blowdrying I could instantly feel the softness.

There is definitely less frizz and it feels more manageable. I can’t see it going greasy either. Will definitely purchase full size.

This product is great! I put it in my hair, focusing on the ends, when it’s still pretty damp. I have pretty straight hair naturally so if I brush it while it’s drying, this product helps it come out much smoother and straighter.

I docked one star because I find I have to use quite a bit of the product to see the results I want, and I usually need to supplement with a hair oil on the very ends or they still look a little fried (I have processed hair though).

There’s still a slight amount of frizz but I don’t know that there’s any product in the world that can counteract that in the Florida humidity. Overall I highly recommend this product!.

I’m a new mom in south Florida where the humidity is always high and my schedule is always busy. After reading reviews for Fave4 hair products I thought this was it! I found my answer! I decided to purchase up for air as showering these days is a luxury and actually getting to style my hair is non existent!! Getting out of the shower and simply running this product through my hair, running out the door and having awesome wavy and textured hair sounded amazing!!!! Well it didn’t work for me! I consider my hair pretty normal and thought for sure I would have a good chance with this product since everyone’s reviews were great! Let’s face it, Jesse is famous, rich and has a hair stylist.

No way she uses these products! This product didn’t even reduce my frizz. In Florida it is very hard to keep good hair due to the humidity and constant rain! I wouldn’t consider this product line again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I bought this on a whim well buying groceries yesterday and tried it this morning and fell in love. I cheated this small bit and used a curling iron on the end after it was dry. , But I used it on a much lower setting than I normally used to curl my hair.

I can’t wait to try some of the other products.

Suave has such an awesome hair care line for taking care of your hair in between washes. I personally used to wash my hair everyday thinking that it would help keep my hair healthy. Over the years, I have been noticing a lot of split ends, breakage, and loss of the luster/shine in my locks.

I was always going to sleep with my hair wet! Now that I have such a great line of hair care I am now taking better care of my hair. The Suave hair care line consists of 3 products which work together.

Since using these 3 products in between my hair washing I can go a couple days without washing my hair or causing more damage. I begin with the Air Dry Cream after I wash my hair for that day. Putting it in my hands and working a little bit from roots to ends.

Then I spray the Blow Dry Accelerator through my hair and brush it through. I have done both and blow dried my hair after and let it air dry! Both methods still leave my hair healthy and beautiful. The Accelerator has the heat protection I look for and protects my hair up to 450°.

Lastly, Suave Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo helps keep my hair looking and feeling good for the days I don’t want to wash my hair! Spraying the dry shampoo on my roots to absorb the oily hair look and brushing it out keeps me looking gorgeous! This is such a great line for beautiful hair!!! Way to go Suave.

I very rarely blow dry my hair, so air dry cream is a must for me because my hair tends to frizz easily. The first thing I was impressed with was the scent. It smells divine! It smells like tropical fruit, but soft and creamy, not overwhelmingly sweet.

The scent lasts for a long time on your hair, also. I would wear this as a lotion, if they made it! Absolutely fantastic! I love that you really sont need a ton of product to achieve results. I have fine/thin hair, so my hair is weighed down easily.

I only needed to use between a pea & dime sized amount to spread it through my damp hair. It’s not greasy or heavy at all. Its light, almost whipped. It works SO well to define the wave in my hair! I flip my head to apply and before I flip it back over I scrunch my hair to help the wave.

It’s great! Often air dry cream doesn’t do enough for my wave but this didnt disappoint! The only “con” for me is that my hair was still a tiny bit frizzy by the end of the day. I’m sure if I used a little more product it wouldn’t be, but with fine hair I’m scared to use too much.

Overall, this is a keeper. And I really hope Suave makes more product with this scent!.

This product smells great. I never thought I’d find a product that is so helpful with my frizziness. Most products wear off eventually but this one gives me soft silky hair all day. It really does tame the frizz and flyaways.

I have so many flyaways right around my face frame and this really lessened them. I could barely notice them even after working all day. On top of all that, this product made my hair super soft. I don’t think my hair has ever been this soft.

The product does not leave a heavy film or texture on my hair which I enjoy. My hair was still easy to brush through and never got crunchy. The styling tip on the back is really helpful for defining your curls and the directions are super simple.

This product is a must have!.

So I read the reviews here and still decided to give this a try and I am SO glad I did. Like others have said this sprays out in a stream not a mist, so I spray it into my hands, rub my hands together and then apply through my hair, working from ends upwards to roots.

I rake through with my fingers and scrunched my hair. I have slightly wavy shorter hair that is more limp usually. After it dried, I scrunched lightly again and my hair looked amazing! I was shocked as I’ve tried beach wave products and my hair usually looks like straw.

I will say I used the Evolvh Polishing Balm first, and Josh Rosebrook LIFT on my roots (I need volume help!), but this Rahua Air Dry is amazing! Even looked great next day! No crunchy, sticky feeling, just soft waves (for my hair type) and shine!! This busy momma needs a good air-dry solution that works and this is it!!.

I’ve been wanting to try this air dry spray for awhile as there doesn’t seem to another product like it from any of the other green hair brands. And I love Rahua! With my fine, naturally curly, color- treated hair, I found that this works best when I first scrunch my curl cream in to combed out, wet ends.

Then I’ll mist this through out the lower 3 quarters of my hair. It doesn’t make my hair stiff or crunchy. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is bc of the scent- it smells nice but it’s not Rahua’s signature Palo Santo scent which I love and was expecting.

It’s more of a citrusy scent and I would’ve liked and preferred the Palo Santo.

Just got this so still learning how to use it and how much to use. I wish the spray nozzle would mist finer instead of a stream. At first that made me use way too much. But I spray into my hands now instead.

If I got too much on, I would agg a little water to my hands, and scrunched my hair, seems like it starts to foam a little, it gave me such volume and defined waves, didn’t need any other product. I’ve actually replaced the spray cap with one that sprays a finer mist, that worked, I’m really loving this, smells nice and doesn’t feel like you have a ton of product in your hair.

Finally a product to use air drying no hairdryer.
