I am using one 100ah Amphere Time battery to power a 55 lb. thrust Motorguiide trolling motor. I have been out twice and am impressed with the performance. After a half day of using the trolling motor to troll at speeds ranging from 1.8 to 2.2 mph, I still have 60% battery capacity remaining. This was confirmed on a multimeter and by recharge time. It took 4 hours on a 10amp Lifepo4 charger to recharge each time. The motor is powering a boat that weights approximately 1200 lbs loaded. The amp draw ranges between 16 and 22 amps at the speeds I am trolling. I am very happy with the product so far and would recommend these batteries. I will update the review at the end of the fishing season.

Purchased two lithium 200Ah Plus batteries several months ago for my 5th wheel RV. They are competitively priced and seem to be made of sturdy material. So far they have performed as advertised. Went 24 hours on battery only with fridge and water heater on gas. We used the RV as we normally do with the TV, Dish satellite and lights as usual and had 35% left at the end of 24hours. They helped with the getting the correct settings on my charger/inverter and always answered my emails within 24hours. So far I am very happy with the batteries and their customer support.

We bought 5 of these batteries for our 5th wheel that we use off the grid. They last a long time, even when using the inverter at night when there is no solar. By the time we get up in the morning the solar has them back to 100%. The smart battery features have allowed me to make a couple of dumb mistakes with the system and keep from damaging the batteries. A+ product.

We purchased two 200AH Bluetooth Lithium batteries. The batteries are hooked up to our system and work fine… they are batteries. Two things that could see improvement: 1) The app (Renogy BT) that connects to the battery via bluetooth is borderline unusable. Sometimes only one battery shows up in the app to connect to, other times both show up. After selecting the battery to connect (assuming it shows up on the app), the information displayed is all zeros. So if you’re fortunate enough to get a bluetooth connection to the battery, no info is actually being transferred from the battery to the app. 2) We are using a Victron Solar Charger and there are several parameters that are user adjustable in order to make solar charging as efficient as possible for a particular brand/make of battery. i.e. Absorption Voltage, Float Voltage, Equalization Voltage, Re-Bulk Voltage offset… none of which I knew about before purchasing these batteries. Had I known, I would have purchased from a supplier that publishes such information. After scowering their website and manuals with no luck, I eventually did get some of this info from Renogy after many attempts via email. At any rate, we are happy with the batteries, with the exceptions listed above.

I’m putting together a solar generator. Given the price for the battery, this was a great deal compared to several of the other major manufacturers. I was (and still am) hesitant about Renogy’s customer service, but have yet to need it. When I received the battery I charged it ~150 Ah, meaning the battery was at about 25% SoC after shipping. However, the app claimed it was just under 50%. I haven’t noticed any other major discrepancies in the battery’s ability to track it’s SoC, but then again I’ve put it through very few cycles thus far. I’m giving it three stars because of the initial incorrect SoC tracking. Otherwise, it appears solidly built, was packaged decently well, and was shipped in a timely manner! I would probably buy another one when the time comes.

I ordered it online direct from Renogy, I received the next day, The only thing I distinctly remember is the shipping weight was in Kilograms should have been in pounds like 60.2 lbs. As soon it arrived, upon opening the box, I was struck by the sense of hygiene it was packaged with. I charged it up using the CTEK Lithium Battery Charger (56-926), The CTEK is pretty much a trickle charger and never had been tested with this large of a battery, it had only been tested with a 120ah, the batteries Bluetooth processor seemed to know all about it, it told me exactly how long of a process it was going to be 27.6 hours to charge. Very Exact. It got to 99.1% SOC. All the directions in the manual were very straight forward. I used dielectric grease on all the contact points. It is a “Grand” product I look forward to using every day from now on.

I haven’t had the battery long but so far I am very pleased with the performance of the battery. After receiving the battery I charged it with my solar panel to top off the battery. I then hooked it up to may JP-40 Iceco fridge. With the fridge empty and a starting temp of 70F I set the temp on the fridge to 0F. The battery brought the temp to 0F and maintained that for 40 hours straight with outside temp during the day at 95F. Very pleased with the results, the frige finally shutdown when the battery voltage reached 12.1V.

After months long delays and much anxiety I received my SOK batteries. (This ordering and shipping – and mostly waiting – process was most painful to me because I was in the very first group of back ordered batteries. Since this time ShopSolar has gained a better understanding of their whole delivery process and is able to better communicate to their customers what to expect.) Battery is incomparable with it’s features. BMS with low-temp charge cut-off, screw off lid with easy access for replacing cells and bms and an attractive and durable metal case. I purchased 3 of these SOK 12 v 100 ah batteries to run a 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter at our family cabin. I use this Renogy 100Ah in an off-grid back-up power system. I am located in North Texas where the temperature is usually on the warmer side most of the year; thus my “De-rating” would not exceed 15% in the winter at about 55-60 degree. The Amp-Hour capacity of these Renogy batteries is, at-least, decreased by 5% at 70 degree, and cold weather will further de-rate this battery. At about 30 degree, this battery lost 50% of its capacity. I also found this Renogy battery not reacting well if the Depth of Discharge higher than 40%, meaning that you must have a larger bank in order to avoid rapid deterioration to the battery cycle, better said, you only can use 50% of the rated capacity. I found this Renogy to function better on charging in Serial connection; that is in 24Volt system rather than 12 volt. In parallel connection I could connect only three batteries with acceptable charge table; meaning the maximum number of this Renogy battery you can have in a 12-volts parallel setting will be (3) for the total of 300 amp-hour which is not much at all. So if you need only one kilowatt (1000 watt per day) at 12 volt, you will need to stack more than 100 batteries. This battery is not suitable for use if you need more than 300 Ah in a 12-volt setting. I also found the charge cycling to accelerate if this Renogy does not get 100% full-charge. I have low voltage disconnect (LVD) built into my system, as well as secondary “LVD” is built into the inverter I am using. These batteries must not reach 11-volts if you don’t want to replace it very quickly. All considered, I found this battery to be of limited use in 12-volt systems where its deployment will be best at 300 Ah; otherwise, the battery appears to be well-made.

I purchased this battery for my 09 Yamaha R1 (has a security system) back in April of 2014, and pretty much used it until it died (September of 2021). Overall this battery did it’s job, it lasted over 7 years and practically weighed close to nothing. The only thing that I did not like about it was winter cold starts. This battery hates cold starts, but I learnt to crank the bike a few times before starting it. Overall, 7 years 1 battery, I think thats a great bargain.

Don’t waste your money. Within 3 months it started losing charge. The supposedly wake up feature is BS. I even bought a lithium charger for it and it still would not charge once it went into trickle charge. Anyway one year later with dealing with charging issues it finally blew up in the middle of an out of town ride. It literally swelled up and melted in my battery box. I’m glad it did not burn up my ecu or caught on fire under my seat. But it left me stranded on the side of the road. No warning, just lost all power on the bike. Junk! Never again.

This battery is working great. Plenty of cranking power. The battery barely loses any percentage of power even after sitting for a couple weeks, and my bike has an alarm that pulls some power. It only loses about 1% per week or two if I’m not able to ride. I also purchased the Antigravity bluetooth attachment which allows the battery to send you reports and lets you easily see how your battery is doing. The battery is extremely light weight. I went from about a 12 lb battery to this which is about 2 lbs or such. It does fit in my 07 VRod but is not as wide as the stock battery. I used a couple plastic spacers from a car battery to keep it tight in the holder.

It’s a battery. It’s lightweight. Seems to be well built, but time will tell (these new batteries are not built as well as traditional ones it seems, a Shorai battery literally opened up and filled with water under my seat….the battery backup boost is a great feature, let’s hope it works if ever needed (hard to tell now if it’s any good…). Price is still too high for what it is I feel, lets hope the tech becomes more adopted and cheaper. Also, the dual power connectors are awesome if you have extra accessories to power.

I INSTALLED THIS BATTERY IN A KAWASAKI VULCAN 900 CLASSIC LT 3/2021. THE FIRST TIME I turned the key on the fuel injector pump sounded so much stronger then hit the starter button and was surprised again at how much stronger the starter sounded. I use this as a starting battery for a 1979 150hp outboard boat motor. This application requires a strong power delivery to crank and start from cold. If the battery is even the slightest bit weak, it won’t crank fast enough to cold start this old motor. This battery has exceeded my expectations and never let me down at the boat ramp. It was well worth the price for the piece of mind. With my old battery, I had to make sure I had it on the charger overnight before going out. This battery is always ready-to-go with no need to have it on the overnight charger. I like the maintenance-free design so I don’t have to top it off every season. I expect that the AGM composition will allow it to have a longer life in a shock/vibration prone marine application than a standard flooded battery.

I havent had the opportunity to use them for very long on the lake yet. But.. they have worked great on the short trips. These are longer than regular optima batteries and more narrow. I can almost fit both batteries in one compartment on my 2002 crestliner. I think with a little adjustments I can make it work. These do not fit in normal battery trays, just be aware. I have always used optima batteries, in my trucks, cars, and boats. Great batteries all around.

I ordered this battery online and had it shipped to my home. The battery was poorly packaged and loose in between the packing in the box. The battery was less than 80% charged. I had to take it to the local store to have them check it on their tester before I put it on my boat. Exactly the kind of inconvenience I was trying to avoid. The entire process did not meet expectations. I will see how the battery performs, I might recommend the battery but based on this experience I would not recommend the online order process.

Don’t under estimate this little battery it’s a real powerhouse for a 12 volt 35 amps. Took it out for about 2 hours on my Bass Hunter running my 30lb thrust tm. Left the house and stayed out for 2 hours on my small lake. Battery had a full charge 13.11 volts. Got back and put a ohms meter on it and it read 12.9 volts. And thats running 3rd a 4th speeds. And thats battery weights 23lbs. Not bad! Beats that 60lb full size anchor batteriy I used lug to the boat. But these AGM batteries from Mighty Max I highly recommend.

I bought this battery for a Cafe racer motorcycle project and it has TONS of juice. It is able to easily crank my 900cc bike and still fit into the palm of my hand. As always I recommend checking your required CCA not just CA when looking for a battery. This battery also went dead from being used without an active stator (my fault) and I was able to easily recharge it with a 2 amp conventional battery charger. So far I am more than happy with this purchase and will recommend EarthX to anyone looking for a compact lithium ion battery that is safe and efficient.

weights nothing, replaced a lithium ion battery that didn’t work in cold weather. every sat when I go to ride the earth x is dead ? once i jump start the bike its good all day by about Tues its dead again, muli meter doesn’t show a short, what ever. a little pricey for not doing the job.

Outstanding! Even with a brand new standard lead/acid battery this bike ( Yamaha WR450) always seems to crank a little slow and is hard to start, even after it is warm. With this new Li battery it cranks noticeably faster and fires up great even when cold! They are pricey being about twice the price of standard batteries, but since their projected lifetime is twice as long as a standard battery that helps offset the price difference. The super light weight of these batteries is also a real nice added benefit as well! They are a little smaller in size as well and I like the fact they come with several different sizes and thicknesses of sticky backed foam to help size them to nicely fit in the battery tray as well. TWO THUMBS UP!!
