Best Dip For Tortilla Chips (2024 Updated)

While its annoying to order this online and I wish it was in a local store I absolutely love this “salsa”. It is, however, less of a salsa and more of a sauce. I use this to make the layered dip recipe by Rothschild Farms and it is the best dip I have ever had.

The recipe has black beans, red onion, cream cheese and monterey jack cheese in addition to the raspberry salsa. Sometimes I also like to add vegan chorizo into the black bean layer. This is great if you love a sweet and savory dish! Amazing, I wish I could give more stars.

I am Invited to “special things” party. Supposed to pick a favorite thing, wrap five of them, leave one unwrapped so people could see. Not sure of rest of it, but something like I draw five names from bowl and those five people get one of my favorites.

I chose the raspberry salsa, made copies of the black bean dip recipe and tied to the wrapped jars. Party was supposed to be last Thursday but delayed because of covid. Now February. I love the black bean dip! Know my friends will too!.

My family loves this salsa! We make the Raspberry Salsa dip! It is a hit with all of my family! It’s a requested every holiday. The recipe I believe we got from your company, Black beans, red onion, cream cheese, and raspberry salsa on the top, a little cheese, then bake.

We dip with corn chips! My family can’t get enough of it.

I really love this salsa it tastes so good, has a nice heat to it and goes not just on nachos I dump it on burgers, over salads, mix it in when frying veggies and sometimes just grab the jar and a spoon as a snack.

I order this almost weekly its a fave in this house.

Fresh taste wth a spicy zing. Keeps well in the fridge once opened. Can use as a salza for fajitas, veggie dips as well as Corn chips.

This sort of product is not something I eat regularly enough to compare to others but despite the strength of its ‘kick’ I could still taste the ingredients which seems a good thing. However, for a dip that is described as mild, I found this to be very hot.

It doesn’t seem so at first but it didn’t take long for the chiles to make themselves noticed. I’m sweating now just thinking about it!.

i think this is lovely and just the right amount of spice/has a good kick to it. for people struggling to open jars,all you need to do is is hit the notches underneath the lid with something a few times(i use a screwdriver handle)you will hear a pop,n voila lids opened.

Great Salsa, nice heat from the chillis, tangy and very moorish, great on crackers with a strong cheddar cheese.

Very tasty product. Fantastic as a dip for chips or crackers. I like using it in my pumpernickel round hollowed out bread recipe. I would definitely recommend this product and the price is OK but better when on sale.

I would buy it again.

I love the Con queso and the Salsa but the onion dip is disgusting. Bought this 2 times. The first time, to try the onion dip. The second time because Sam’s was out of the 3 pk of Con queso thought I could give the onion dip away.

I think the Onion dip is wonderful! Tastes like homemade – lots of onions, creamy & not overly salty. We eat it with Fritos Scoops!

Tostitos salsa and Lays chips variety pack is excellent. They’re excellent for parties and for dinner.

Gross. I usually love Tostitos, and buy many of their products, including jarred cheese. I was looking forward to this fake cheese (not real deli stuff) in a convenient package for single use, but the taste was just off.

Perfect size for one person. I have loved Tostitos chips and salsas for years. Creamy texture. Nice cheesy taste. I would buy again. I was craving nachos. This paired well with PopCorners.

I usually buy con queso but today I saw this. I can’t believe how similar it is to my favorite Mexican restaurant nacho cheese. This would be perfect to dip soft pretzels in as well. Will definitely be my new go to cheese dip!.

This is a great way to have the Nacho Cheese Dip and it not be wasted. In the bigger jars it tends to get messy but with these individual cups there is no waste. I will buy them again.

Perfect single serving snack during this COVID time. We paired it with the Tostitos single serving salsa and chips. Our staff LOVED it!

They shipped me expired cheese dip. They haven’t responded to numerous emails about this. Do not buy.

This dip had a strange aftertaste. Almost tomato like but not quite. It wasn’t at all what I expected from lays as it didn’t taste at all like a classic ranch flavor. It was also super runny.

I was expecting a nice burst of herb flavor like the now defunct premade Hidden Valley Dips, and there wasn’t any. The main flavor is mild garlic. It’s missing almost all the herb flavoring. You can taste the added onion flavoring, but it’s also in the background.

It is an okay dip for veggies, but you’ll be happier making it from scratch or using the Hidden Valley packets. It’s not great for chips IMHO.

I found this very hard to find item at Big Lots. Well after becoming completely addicted to this wonderfully flavored bean dip with the added spice of jalapeno I had to remember where I had bought it and returned for 9 more cans! Its delicious on Fritos regular corn chips or Scoops! Creamy and spicy and just perfect! Now if I could just find some barbque Fritos life would be perfect!.

My go-to chip dip. Tastes the best with a bag of doritos. Tastes better when cold. And gets liquidy once it is in the fridge, which is a downside. Other then that, that’s all I would improve. Or making larger containers.

I could barely choke down the turmeric drink I was making @ home. Ugh it was horrible! Then I found Savory Spice. Ordered a few spices and their golden milk chia latte. I actually ordered 6 bags, figuring it CAN’T be worse than mine.

This latte is amazing. I have it every morning when I wake up b4 coffee. Shipping was very speedy and I definitely continue ordering from them. I an hooked. Thank you Savory Spice. You are my new go to for spices.

This dip has great flavor but the recipe on the package needs help. As it is, it is too soupy. I added a second can of corn, and it helped a lot. You can also replace half of the mayo and sour cream with 2 large avocados.

It gives it much more body and takes away some of the greasy taste, but it will need a little more punch since you are taking out the tang and salt in the mayo. You could add some of the Mexican Street Corn seasoning or Peruvian Chili Lime.

One of the best dips I’ve ever had! It’s awesome with chicken nuggets! And awesome customer service from Chilly Chiles! Will definitely come back for more.

Dip tastes great! It is not spicy, but has a little zing to it. Goes great with pita chips or pretzels. Dip is gluten free for those that need it. Will order again.

I love most things from Terrapin Ridge Farms but this wasn’t a favorite. It was way too sweet which I wasn’t expecting. A bit of a disappointment.

I purchased this salsa in the store because my usual brand wasn’t available. I am so happy I did. I am absolutely in love with this salsa. Sure its thinner but the flavor is so authentic to a good Mexican restaurant.

Eating healthier never tasted so great! I enjoy with my veggie omelets, warm pita bread, chicken fajitas, fish tacos and even with fresh avocado and lime steak. I literally buy 6 jars at a time per week.

Can you make bigger jars?.

Meh. It’s alright if there isn’t anything else available. Its cheap and you get what you pay for. Over manufactured (at least for me) and ingredients that could be eliminated (again, just my opinion).

I like a strong flavor and this just isn’t it. If you need something because every other salsa is gone, then this is choice. If not, find a better one. Way better salsa out there.

My go to salsa if my husband hasn’t made any. The blend of flavors they used make it flavorful. With it being chunky it holds longer on the chip. A great add in to food also. The mild is great for those who like flavor and not hotness.

I’ve tried the other spicier ones and they all still have flavor. Would recommend to anyone. And the jars are great to reuse.

This dip has been a family favorite for YEARS in our household. The regular kind isn’t bad but the jalapeño cheddar is the best! It has a a little kick to it but nothing too spicy. The only thing I’ve ever used this doo with is the small skinny stick pretzels.

It’s creamy and lightweight, so you don’t have to worry about your pretzels or chips breaking off in it. The container is nice and compact with a removable lid. You do need to refrigerate after opening.

Perfect snack food! A classic. 10/10 recommend.

I have had this a few times and I think the one I got this time is not Queso Blanco, but the Queso with Salsa in it. it’s more of an orange color than the last few jars I’ve had and the flavor is kind of off.

Not sure if there was a label mishap at the warehouse when it was packaged but the one I have is definitely not the Blanco one. Usually it’s the same (or VERY close) in color to the Tostitos brand of the same thing.

Love this queso. Saturday night nachos just got kicked up a notch. The queso does have a bit of a kick (spicy) so don’t be alarmed. Recommend popping the top and placing a pot of boiling water. Keeps it smooth and creamy instead of getting oily.

Love this on nachos or as a dip for veggies.

The flavor and consistency is there with this one! One of my favorite store bought quesos. Could be a 5 star product for me, but it’s definitely a medium not mild heat level. I usually eat it with some added cheese or some sour cream to help temper the heat.

This cheese dip was a staple in our house – just plain cheesy goodness without that weird musty flavor a lot of other brands seem to have. It’s delicious heated up for nachos or soft pretzels or mixed into pasta with chicken and broccoli.

I am so bummed that we haven’t been able to find this product for the last 5 months or so in any stores near us or even online. Nothing else compares. every replacement we’ve tried has tasted like the bottom of a shoe and regret.

I love this cheese dip. Best one on the market and has been a staple on y pantry for years, But suddenly. I can’t find it anywhere!!! Why is the plain Cheddar Cheese Dip impossible to find in stores? I can only find one source for this and is a rip-off seller on Amazon charging $50 for 4 jars plus $12 for shipping.

Please make this product available in grocery stores. There are a lot of people very upset that we can not find it at the retail price of $3-$4/jar in stores.

Unhealthy yet very tasty! mild cheddar flavor and smooth soft texture makes it perfect for dipping everything and it has hints of salty savory whey. Imho t is the absolute best dip for Nachos. However, there is actually no cheese in this thing! Read the ingredients.

It also has artificial color, soybean oil, modified starch, and preservatives, so not a healthy food in any way.

I’m trying to offset the bad rating because this stuff is delicious and I don’t know why people are rating it low! This is creamy and just spicy enough without being overwhelming. Please don’t stop making it, Target!.
