Great product when connected correctly. The unit does not ship with a PSU, which I was aware of. What I did not know was the power required. I have a multi-output PSU for 9V pedals; you need to power this up with at least 300mA.

They appear faulty if underpowered. My other pedals work with less current. Really easy to use. So glad I bought this over the TC Helicon Play Acoustic; a friend of mine has one of those and they are so complicated compared to the Harmony Singer.

Great sound and easy to use which was what I wanted. It is a basic kit yet it offers adequate alternative harmonies ,levels etc. Would certainly recommend for someone not wanting the distraction of having to alter too many settings, so your attention is kept on your performance.

The price I got it for was £129. 00 which I think is about right. My only disappointment was with delivery, where they omitted my full address and this caused a number of days delay but the girl at the customer service really helped here.

However, I am giving the kit five stars. Tom.

Our church Praise Team is relatively small but tight sounding group. I added this to my mike and acoustic guitar and (as one of the male voices) pop in the upper harmonies during the chorus/refrains.

Adds a lush, fuller sound to our vocals without being distracting. Our director is leery of new tech toys and worries about those toys misbehaving during performance, but the Harmony Singer has not failed yet.

Note that you do have to plug all the connections in prior to powering it up. We found that if you power it up prior to connecting the mike, it will not recognize the microphone. easily fixed, just unplug the power and plug it back in.

Even our director has given his tentative nod of approval on its reliability and loves the sound. For those singers worried about it being a distraction, don’t worry. You actually hear less of it as you are singing (the resonance of your voice in your head overpowers what you will typically hear through your PA.

) I haven’t tried it with in-ear monitors, but with external monitors, all I notice is lusher chorus. BTW, if you are singing a sustained pitch and change chords (say major to minor), it will change your harmony pitches.

This could be good or bad depending on what you want it to do. We have found that on the rare occasion I will need to sustain a guitar chord through a chord change or move to a new chord early to prevent the vocal harmonies from changing.

if we want to keep the pitch from changing, but that is not a big deal typically. Only con, and it is very minor, is that I would love to be able to have it do more than two harmonies at a time. For instance have it do one below and two above my voice.

Not a big deal though. Have no complaints at all. Bottomline: TCHelicon knows how to work vocal processing, it sounds natural and our director would love to have TC Helicon come up with a piano tech toy to allow him to just plunk a melody and have it play the harmonies for him (hah!!) Get this! You will not be disappointed!.

This pedal is a must have for vocalists anywhere. It really makes your voice shine right out of the box, the basic effects are already good enough for many occasions. On top of that, it has a huge capacity for user created banks and allows all kinds of adjustments and effects to be put together.

It also has a loop function! Hard to be better. Down points? Maybe it is not that easy to understand/use at first impact and the screen is kinda small and simple, but that is just me trying to find problems where they don’t exist.

TL/DR this is a BOSS/ROLAND product with all the quality you expect from these brands.

I reccomend downloading the manual. It will be much easier to read and work with as this pedal can do a lot. I am a solo guy with guitar. Country, blues, popular songs. I just need one good batch of settings for my voice all night.

I have been using the Boss VE2 for several years. I like the simplicity and the harmonies sound good. However for whatever reason I would like more variations on the reverb, delay, pitch correct, compression, (Yes dynamics is compresson) This pedal is a vocal pedal first and harmony pedal second.

The pedal has every possible adjustment you can make to your voice. If you are not familuar with studio adjustments the presets will help you find something quickly but there is so much more you can do to find your perfect voice with it.

As for the harmonies selecting your harmony key is probably not as good sounding as auto tune off your instrument. For example I have a song that goes E, F#m, G#m. I won’t be using it on that song. Standard 1,4,5 type songs it’s not bad.

But it does have several adjustments to each seperate voice of your harmony. So for example you can have the double harmony one volume and the 3rd another volume and so on. Really nice. Plus your can vari the genders.

Overall this unit far surpassed my expectations for finding the voice of what I thought I should sound like for the night which is the reason I bought it. I’ll use the harmonies here and there and its no problem to bend down to change the keys.

Just push the right arrow button and with the dial knob find the key.

Newest version, is a little temperamental but seems to be working out OK. A lot of additional add ons but we’re getting there.

I’ve had 3 of these pedals for about a year now. I bought one to check out, and liked it enough to buy one each for the rest of the band! Turns out they weren’t as big a fan as I was, so now I use all 3 myself.

“How?” You ask? That’s part of the fun! You’ll need a mic splitter. I recommend the Whirlwind Split-6 if you want to run more than 3 total mic outputs. I run my vocals first in into a TC Helicon Duplicator (another awesome pedal I strongly recommend!) and from there to the Split 6.

One output of the Split 6 goes straight to the board. 3 other outputs run into 3 separate Harmony Singer 2 pedals. The instrument outputs of these run into each other, and the mic outputs each run into separate mixer channels.

The 5th output – and here’s the really fun part – runs into an in-line transformer and then into the Instrument input of the first Harmony Singer 2. “WTF?” You ask? Normally you run a guitar into this to direct the harmony.

Sing along with the guitar, you get harmonies matching the guitar. By running your vocals into this input, the harmony is guided by your vocals. GENIUS! If I do say so myself (and I do!) Now, you don’t get minor shifts in the harmonies, as you would by playing minor chords, but the harmonies match your vocals.

If you can sing well, you have matching well-sung harmonies. If, like me, you’re not-so-good, you get matching harmonies. This can be good or bad. Get good. And really you want something running into this input, unless you want crazy vocal effects.

Another major benefit of running multiple units is that you can get mixed harmonies that you can’t get with a single pedal, such as 2-up 1-down, or 1-up and 1-down in different intervals. Speaking of intervals, I’m still fuzzy on which intervals the pedal generates: is it 5th and 7th? I don’t think the highest/lowest are octaves.

I could be mistooken. Anyway, you can also, by running separate harmonies, adjust the level of each one individually, whether by fiddling with the knobs on the pedal or letting the sound guy do it on the board.

If you have a sound guy. You can also set different reverb levels (and types) this way. And you can pan them separately in the mix. Lastly, multiple pedals let you set them for multiple songs, and switch between them at will.

Or you can bring each one in as the song progresses, to get a moving, dynamic build-up of harmonies to really add emotional impact (or trauma). They also greatly improve the effectiveness of claps, believe it or not.

1 clapper sounds like many. I don’t recommend using the pedal with a cabinet mic to get guitar harmonies. Been there, done that. Added bonus: run your vocals into a Duplicator first, set for Octaves, then kick it in to get a massive harmony wall.

Your original vocal will be harmonized, the upper octave will be harmonized, and the lower octave will be harmonized. I cannot recommend this vocal pedal highly enough. If you sing backups, get one. Get several.

Get a 1-spot with the multiple outlets too. And a board to put them on. I use a Pedaltrain board.

I am a keyboard player and I wanted to try let’s see how this harmonizer would work with a keyboard and it works perfect. It’s very simple to use in the sound quality of the harmonies is so realistic and so beautiful that is immediately makes you want to sing.

I would highly recommend this harmonizer to any musician and just because it says it’s for guitarist I am a keyboard player and I love it and even though I have it hooked to my keyboard it works perfect.

Using this for about a year now at live gigs and couldn’t be happier. It follows guitar/keyboard very well. Does not sound “robotic” like some of the others. I like the fact that the button is quiet when turning vocals on/off.

So , if you’re recording in a studio or playing a small venue where the audience is close and listening, like a house concert, coffee shop, small club, and want to record your performance, you don’t that distracting annoying unprofessional “click” going on.

A light comes on when vocals are activated , and goes off when no vocals. Glance down to see if it’s on or off. EASY ! ! ! Most times , folks are wondering where the back up vocals are coming from since they assume the pedal must be for the guitar.

I use it with the batteries when Busking. It’s light , easy to hook up, easy to use, built like a tank, nothing to program, always works, and very affordable. Hope they never change this unit as it’s perfect just the way it is , especially for the gig out live entertainer.

Excellent product with the potential to make great music. However, it would be improved with clearer instructions for download. It took a few frustrating days to successfully download all the requirements.

Having used cubasis 4 for many years – expected it would be easier to use this upgraded version. However instructions are woeful and the product would be enhanced with a step by step guide to downloads and confirmation when each step had been completed.

Since receiving the product discovered that lots of other users have had the same problem. Having said that, it is worth it when it is finally installed. Look forward to learning more and experimenting and producing lots of great sounds.

Unless you are very experienced computer user be prepared to spend lots of time learning how to do this. It will not be easy or quick to master but will offer brilliant results with plenty of persistance and patience.

The ‘box’ is not what is pictured. It, instead, is a much smaller box that does not contain any CD /DVD to install. This is strictly a downloadable. exe (iso) with a piece of paper that gives you your download access code.

This is also not Version 8 or even 8. 5. This is, by default, version 9. 5 (newest Cubase). Not particularly an issue, just labeled incorrectly. Here’s the skinny: Cubase/Steinberg allow you, with a license for version (X) to download any previous versions (W, V, U, T, etc), but you must contact them for the direct download ISO.

This will involve you emailing Steinberg Support directly. Luckily, when you purchase this, you are still purchasing the license for 9. 5, which means if at any given time you want to update to a 64 bit system or the absolute newest cubase DAW system, well, you’ve got it already.

This does come with the eLicenser in case you do not already have one. Excellent product, just have to do some extra work to get the listed version installed. No sweat.

I’ve used Cubase for years and so I’ve got lots of songs that would be difficult or impossible to change over to a different DAW, otherwise I wouldn’t touch it with a bargepole. Cubase has a lot of historic problems that have never been ironed out and many of the facilities are simply unnecessary.

One of it’s biggest issues is that the audio files are all dumped into one folder, the edits into another but they aren’t grouped with the song file; this makes wav file location really difficult. However the biggest problem is with Steinberg themselves; they NEVER respond to user enquiries or problems and if you try and use the forum there are thousands of listings because Cubase has so many problems.

My advice is to use another DAW such as Presonus (which was created by ex Steinberg programmers but without most of the hang-ups. ).

The Enhance feature adds top end and articulation – makes vocals stand out in the live mix. Haven’t used in studio yet. Most of the longer echoes and reverbs are not useful for me but they sound fine.

In live situations for me it’s pretty much set and forget. The pitch correction is less noticeable than I expected, even turned up full. Very happy to get a power supply for free!.

Great little box for gigging and live performances. Can use battery or buy mains lead. Sound quality good and lots of extras. The memory button is a little confusing but you don’t necessary need to use it.

Well made and easy to transport. All in all very good value sound machine.

Has all the features you could want with none of the ones you don’t. Bought this for grown up son and I’ve had various vocal effects from basic to the highest end rack units and you will be happy with this one if budget is a issue.

This is a relatively tiny unit, but it packs a tremendous punch-especially at its price point. Dedicated sections for enhancer/compressor/de-esser/EQ, pitch correction, harmony (up to 3 parts)/vocoder, reverb&delay, looper, plus up to 4 additional effects inserted between the harmony/vocoder and reverb&delay sections provide a wealth of options.

You can customize the controls to use the foot switches, an external foot controller, MIDI, or a combination of all three to control effects in real time during performance. The bad news. this does not ship with a USB cable to connect to your computer-and connecting to you computer is a must.

Why? The tiny screen makes setting up and editing patches a Herculean task, but if you download the editor software from Boss it becomes so much easier. MIDI patch changes are straight forward, but CC messages go to the controller section which is customized on a per patch basis rather than globally.

Because of the ability to customize these controller settings there is no CC master list to use when programming your MIDI messages to the unit, so finding the correct CC value is a bit of trial and error beyond simply toggling an effect on or off.

Overall though, this is a great processor for the price. The footprint is small, and would handily fit onto a pedal board. If you have the time to set this up using the editor on a Mac or PC before taking to the stage, the limited on board UI is easy to overlook.

The Boss Vocal performer was a great addition to my acoustic performances. Especially when you are using a small set up or do not have a person to help with sound. I like being able to adjust my sound, add harmonies, etc and the built in tuner is GREAT.

I do wish it was a little easier to push the pedal to enable the tuner, the two buttons are a little farther away than on the previous model and I have a hard time turning it on and off.

Buyer beware, if u are a professional vocalist looking to sing and record your vocals DO NOT BUY. You will have wasted your money. There are two effects that MAY be effective. 1. Chorus (which basically sounds like an additional reverb; there is already a reverb knob on the device) 2.

The second is possibly useful feature is the harmonizer. It has not been perfected on this device. Also, harmonies end up sounding like they are autotuned or coming out of a voice box. Not useful if you are a professional vocalist looking to record straight ahead quality vocs that are not gimmicky.

The rest of the features like ‘child’s voice, telephone, deep, robot, dormant character, whistle, talk box, distortion, and beat box’ render this doggone thing a toy. At best. I’m not even joking. It’s sad.

I wanted to love this but it is a complete and utter waste of money. You can get a vocal processor that is strictly for vocalists for less money which is what I should have done and avoid this at all costs.

Speaking of costs, this thing costs 200 bucks AND you have to turn around and buy an adapter separately but only the adapter made by ZOOM will work and it is hard to find. If you choose to use 4 AA batteries which is required for it to function, those batteries will only work 2 1/2 hours at best.

Then you need 4 more AA batteries. Not efficient or convenient when you are in the middle of writing and recording. PLEASE DO NOT BUY. You will not only waste your time but your money. And this is from someone who REALLY wanted to love this product especially considering I spent my money on it and saw those very misleading promo videos which led me to buy it.

We are currently using this as our vocalist controlled FX unit for live performance. Fairly solid sound comes out of the box, but the reverb and delay are unusable. Giving this 5-stars, as we have tested pretty much every tabletop vocal effects unit, and the portability (super light-weight) combined with easy access to functions and reasonable sound quality, this is our go to unit for live performance currently (although I strongly desire something more powerful).

Another annoyance is no XLR out (stereo TRS only).

Size: The pedal is dead small so very easy to take with you to gigs or stash away in the drawer when you aren’t using it. Features: The built in reverb/echo/delay is great and very adjustable. The memory function is great.

Easy enough to switch to a saved setting, although I do wish the actual button was bigger so I could switch to another memory mid song. Sometimes you want different harmonies on different sections. The bypass pedal is great.

Very easy to tap whilst playing. Auto-Harmonist: I bought this pedal specifically for this function. The harmonies definitely sound more natural and fit in with the song better because it follows the chords you are playing.

But, I tend to use unconventional chords and I felt that the harmony struggled sometimes. Without the auto-harmony it was more difficult to keep the harmonies in tune. If you stray even slightly, it sounds terribly out of tune.

Variety: I liked being able to switch between whatever harmonies I wanted. Unison, a third above or below etc. I did find however, it always sounds best when you use two harmony lines instead of one.

The flaws are too obvious when just using one. You have to be so so precise. I found that less is more with this device. I balanced the sound very much in favour of my lead vocal with the harmonies reasonably quiet in the background to compliment the lead.

Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it as it gives your performance that something extra. PMT were great. Delivered right on time and very quickly. Not issues whatsoever.

I lead worship services on guitar and have 20 years as a professional classical singer. Because I occasionally lead a service by myself, I thought this might be a useful tool for adding some richness to a song.

I found on simple, single-key pieces, it chose well about 85% of the time, which is probably fine. If the piece was more complicated, it would often scramble and choose a sour note, or just struggle to stay in tune, singing the minor third in a major triad, for example.

It also seems to think singing the flat seventh of any chord is a reasonable choice, and sometimes it isn’t. If you’re a singer-songwriter doing mostly three- and four-chord songs where it’s more about the writing than anything else, this could be a very cool piece of equipment in your arsenal.

If you’re looking for spot-on perfection in performance, this isn’t worth it. You won’t be happy and it won’t do what you want it to do. If you’re considering using this in a band context, stop considering that immediately :).

The natural differences between tuning for multiple instruments will just make any mistake the box makes harsher and will ruin whatever you’re trying to do. That said, there’s probably a performance art piece or experimental use for it by plugging in an electric guitar but not amping it and telling the box you’re singing one thing, then having it try to harmonize with you.

Could be very trippy and cool. I am saying I’d recommend it, because I would. if you’re a four-chord singer/songwriter.

I bought this guitar brand new in box a few months ago. Right away I notice some issues with the tone and some fret buzz. Then, the neck pick up started glitching. After I took care of all issues the guitar sounds “good”.

Just recently, I bought an Epiphone Les Paul Studio for about $300 less (maybe even more) and woah. blown away by quality and performance. SAooo much better in so many ways. so Yeah. just wanted to share my experience with this guitar.

I use this guitar to record I use it to jame with my friends I also use it to pratis. One good thing about it is that when I played it had great tone, and great sowed in all. There is nothing bad about this guitar it plays very well and it is fun in all!!! I would buy it 1,000 times, I think you should buy it!!!!.

I purchased this product because of one single feature(baby voice effect) and found it to have quite an array of other useful features as well. The build quality is excellent it doesn’t take up too much precious room in my studio and I think the value is very good, the only downside is it does not come with a power supply.

Great product as always from zoom , lots of bang for you buck and quality , I will use this product all the time , the harmonies are terrific, easy to use , sound natural , tip don’t colour your sound too much , don’t over do it , just a little it will do the rest.

I used it for the lead singer and if there’s only one singer in church.. it’s worth it and does the work for me when on live or home recording.

I am using Cubase Pro 10. 5. Loved it and using since 2016 with earlier version. Warmth in my final mixes and masters is the best feature. Chord track saves my time so much. Very fast if you have a good hand on it.

Groove Agent is really helpful in sampling my own drum kit and tones. Retrologue is amazing for new age music. On board vintage compressor in channel strip is really useful. Frequency feature is awesome to cut down specific frequency.

Pre gain staging is really amazing. I use Cubase for Film dubbing also. Music programmers must try once and they will know the power of Cubase Pro 10. Soon upgrading to Cubase Pro11.

I bought this solely for Cubase 11 Pro, which after some initial confusion (upgrade was boxed as 10. 5 but Scan customer services eventually clarified as 11) installed successfully. A great price for Cubase Pro and I intended to sell the Steinberg UR12 on as I already had a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4.

However, after testing the Steinberg box for a month or so, it’s much better and I’ve retired my Focusrite. The drivers are more stable and run better on my Windows 10 system. A win all round.

We purchased a copy of this via college for my son’s A Level Music Technology course. He is not very organised (he’s on the autistic spectrum) and has lost the activation code. This was apparently on a separate piece of paper (not on the box or the CD) and without this we are told that the software cannot be used.

My son’s college have contacted the supplier who had contacted Steinberg and they say there is nothing they can do. Steinberg say we have to spend another £257 and that’s that. Because we have lost a piece of paper.

This is not “Professional Music Technology”, it’s simply not fair.

I bought this to bring with me to gigs when it isn’t practical to bring a whole sound board. The vocal processing is good, giving you various styles of reverb, echo, tone and pitch correction, and harmonies when you run your MIDI keyboard into it.

I wish it had a way to control the vocal volume output from the unit. You have to try to balance the keyboard and vocal levels using the master keyboard volume control to try to achieve the right mix.

I am a semi-pro singer, had used a friend’s for recording to Audacity. Loved how it improved the quality of my vocal recordings. So bought this one for myself. It’s easy to use, seller delivered quickly- works just as designed.

Highly recommended.

The (Should be included) Power Wall-Wart was replaced by a well used inferior substitute, and it was almost impossible to connect to the TC Helicon website in order to update the Firmware (as stipulated in the instructions.

) I finally got it to communicate and was able to get the update. It now works just fine. I wish I didn’t have to replace the Power Supply though.

This is the only product of its kind. You can be a choir of Gregorian monks, ABBA, choir of kids, you can get as simple or as complicated as you feel like, you can turn from man to a woman and back without any surgeries, you can be a robot, a telephone-you name it-this device has got you covered.

It is very robust, compatible with many systems and programs, quite user friendly and portable. My only complaint is that the slider isn’t always responsive, it is hard to scroll through functions-sometimes it gets stuck, sometimes scrolls too fast.

There is no bluetooth and there will be several wires dangling around, but if it had a blue tooth the price would probably be even higher. I have owned this device for about 7 years and it is still about the same price I bought it for, which is quite pricey.

But as I said-there is nothing quite like it on the market. Thank you TC Helicon.

This is a great vocal pedal, and I’ve tried several. The effects are solid, but when the harmonies are set right they’re incredible. Two weaknesses that kept me from giving it a 5 star review. 1) The Harmony pedal (the only one you actually use mid-song) is also the bypass pedal.

If you tap it the harmonies turn on. If you hold it down for 1second (!?!) it bypasses all the effects and harmonies. While I understand wanting to bypass the effects inbetween songs, 1 second is WAY too short of a time to switch.

I often hit it slightly too long and find my vocals dry, without harmonies, and way quieter than I should be. That’s a design flaw. 2) You can only set the key of a patch to major keys. It has trouble with minor keys.

And while you can usually use a corresponding major key to fit most minor key songs, there are sometimes it won’t work, nor does the internal mic accurately pick up the key of whatever your’e playing.

I have found ways to work around these limitations and hope to upgrade to a newer, nicer version in the near future.

This thing is great. It’s easy to use, and has enough useful patches right out of the box to cover most situations and styles, although they are spread out among all the patches. I’ve tried harmonizer software and boxes over the years but they always fell short, and were difficult to achieve useful results with; the harmonies either sounded like munchkins or weird note choices made me sound like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir of Death.

Not so here. Can one guy sound like the Eagles doing Seven Bridges Road? Try patch 47. I tried this out at practice last week and with other humans singing their parts too, everything just sounds so natural.

It’s great to dial in a high 3rd and then step up to the mic to augment what the other guys are singing in places just to fatten things up and, I hate to say it, make us seem more polished. The unit really needs a good harmonic reference (it listens to your guitar) to compute good harmonies.

Plugging my guitar in to the Vocalive, and then sending the guitar through to my pedalboard works great. The vocals go from the XLR out to the board. At home I just use the monitor out to an amp if I’m feeling lazy.

Room sense (as opposed to plugging your guitar in) doesn’t always work as well. Even without the harmonies, it makes my vocals sound punchy and clear. I tried it with an ND967 and a Beta 58 and both mics sounded great.

Can’t wait for the free MP-75 to show up and try that out. One of the nice surprises was just how useful the guitar effects section is. I already have some of the effects (a TC reverb, delay & chorus) on my regular pedal board, so I felt right at home.

The overdrives are surprisingly useful. I’m a tube guy, not because you can’t get any good sounds with a digital pedal, but because they generally don’t respond to changes in guitar volume like tubes do.

These mostly clean up pretty smoothly when you back off the guitar volume. The hit button is great. You can turn on or off multiple effects in both the vocal and guitar sections at once just by tapping it.

I think with a little experimentation and programming, you could go play a job with just this, a volume pedal for the guitar, and an expression pedal for things like wah (yes it has that too). I’m not saying you could dial in all the exact sounds you get from your pedal board today, but you can create great sounds that will work for almost any situation.

I’d give it a five except for one thing (hope you’re listening TC). While you can: a) Dial in a great guitar sound in a global patch and use it with every vocal patch, or b) Dial in the global patch and use it in some vocal patches, and individually program the guitar sounds that don’t use the global guitar patch, or c) individually program every patch (the way it comes from the factory, and manages to show off the versatility), but I’d like to see.

d) The ability to set up several global guitar patches and select from them for each vocal patch. Or, the ability to independently select guitar and vocal patches if I want. Maybe even have the hit button swap between two guitar patches.

Come to think of it, I have to tap several buttons and twist a few knobs on my pedalboard to do that, so maybe it deserves a 5. Great box. Glad I bought it.

I didnt like the product at first, the sound was to traveller and harsh. Instruction manual that came with it didnt explain that this could be changed. After a considerable search on Google I finally found instructions to tell me how to fix the problem.

The reverb on the unit is good,But certainly not excellent. The reverb on my inexpensive behringer mixer is better. The pitch correction is excellent, which is the main thing I wanted it for. Overall a good product, especially at the price.

I will certainly be using it on stage.

This works for exactly what I needed it to do: Playing venues with limited sound mixing options, and/or no sound tech. It allows me to quickly dial in a fair amount of atmosphere, because a dry sound is not suitable for the style of music we make.

Not sure quite how the tone button achieves its effect (I suspect it’s a bit of compression, with low cut EQ and a boost in the highs), but it definitely helps add a little bit of polish before the desk.

The autotune seems to work best in small doses, especially in a small room where your natural dry sound will mix with the PA sound. Reverbs and delays sound great, but may be too restrained for some singers though.

I find the sweet spot to be at the max of each reverb/delay type. It’s obviously been designed with some restraint in mind to avoid reverb and delay causing feedback. So don’t expect the effects to get super saturated.

While I don’t need anything more than what this pedal offers, it might be a bit too tame for some.

Trash! The company is condescending acting like you don’t know about tech. I spent $200 for a demo and it says the account is activated but none of the features work. Hell I can’t even get my mic to work after going into all the settings on gods green earth.

They aren’t willing to refund even though I said deactivate my registration. They have no solution besides blaming you. I have abundant experience with technology and I’m only 28. I’ve been recording for 10 years.

It’s not rocket science. Their product, however, is. I wish I could give 0 stars. Please don’t waste your money on this product and with these condescending reps that only want to take your money.

Many people may seem to underestimate FL STUDIO. But its’ the best hands down! LIFETIME FREE UPDATES Is Key & The many features you get right out the box is just mind blowing, If your looking for that DAW that can still achieve the initial recording, edit, mix and master.

It’s FL STUDIO Not to mention. You PAY ONCE for the product and you get all types of goodies! The set up is not hard at all and the details on the image line website brings you right to what you need.

The only thing I dislike is that: It’s not very equip like PRO TOOLS with like a “punch in” record setting. Maybe FL STUDIO could get this in the future!! This product certainly meets my expectations as just starting out and I would recommend this to ANYONE to be real with you.

I bought this product back when it was still FL Studio 11 from the official Image-Line website. The program is fully unlocked and licensed to you for life giving you all newer versions of FL Studio for free.

This package is the Producer Edition and comes with all essential plugins and effects you could need granted you have your own sound samples and VSTs, interfaces, and all that goodness you make your music from.

If you wish to use the signature plugins in their fully unlocked states, you must buy the Signature package for more or you can unlock absolutely everything they have to offer buying the All Plugins Bundle for a steep price.

For almost everyone, the Producer Edition should be fine if you are a resourceful producer and/or musician. It’s taken me very far and I feel no constraints. Complete audio creation and mastering is something you are capable of doing all in this one single program.

The learning curve is there, but once you learn your way around you will be breezing through it with versatile controls, I’ve never been in a situation I couldn’t do something I wanted.

The TC Helicon voice Life 3 extreme is absolutely the biggest junk I’ve ever bought in my whole career as a musician and sound engineer. The support from the business was absolutely horrible. I bought this thing with great intentions knowing that I’ve used TC in the past and had great luck with them.

But this thing absolutely the biggest waste of money in my life. Sent it in on a glitch reason for the screen that they all were having to get it back and it has 20 more problems and they wanted nothing to do with it or admit that there was a problem.

I’ve been in the music business almost 40 years now never have I had such a pile of s*** purchase.

First unit I received had a defective chip in it so nothing worked properly, was noisy/distorted. So I travelled to the store to test the replacement in situ. This time seems all OK. It is functionally powerful but does add noticeable noise to your signal chain – be careful how to tweak signal to minimise this.

Unlike boss products which have a comprehensive hi res computer interface software for detailed programming, this machine’s main interface is the pedal’s awful (but readable) low pixel screen, which is functional but 15 years obsolete in terms of GUI interfaces.

Nonetheless it is very comprehensively featured as an all in one digital processor for guitar vocals, which it does well, so still an essential pro piece of kit. In reality it has no competitors at this level of feature richness.

It does what it is supposed to, making your voice into a group. However, you have to drive it fairly hard to get the results. The reverb is barely useful – quality is not so good. It is ridiculous that you need a tiny screwdriver to replace the battery! No easy open plastic battery compartment? This will be a nightmare at a gig when the battery goes bad, and another nightmare when you lose the screws.

VERY poor design.

I have the TC Helicon Voice Live 2, and picked this up because there are a couple of us singing in the current project. I love this thing. It has the same effects I use on the Voicelive 80% of the time, in a regular-pedal-sized package.

It really helps my vocals. The other singer doesn’t use doubling, but I live by it, and this thing delivers. The pitch correction isn’t something I use much, but it is really nice to have a control knob on that, and the tone effect is very similar to the Voicelive, if not the same.

It did not duplicate voices like I was expecting. I exchanged it for a different model that cost $70. 00 more but was exactly what I wanted. So if you are serious about wanting a single singer to sound like a duet or quartet you just have to spend a little more money and get the Perform-VK, it works like magic.

You can sing into it and have it come out your sound system sounding like three people singing; one an octave higher and one an octave lower, plus many, many more features. They were very gracious and fast in the replacing process.

I’m a singer working in a duo, and that might be coming to an end soon, in which case I’ll probably go solo. I’m used to having a great singer harmonising with me, and I know I’ll miss that. While I appreciate that there’s probably no machine that will take the place of a real voice, it seems to be the only way forward for me.

I saw some videos of various different machines online, and having written to one of the reviewers decided this was the best machine for me. Not being a musician as such I need a processor that doesn’t need t be told what key I’m in when I’m using backing tracks, and so far so good this does the job.

Obviously during the current pandemic I can’t trial it live, but it’s giving me some nice harmonies when I hook it up at home. There are also some cool vocal effects which I’ll be able to utilise when I’m doing jingles for a friend’s radio show.

Here’s the but. Having shelled out 179 (just a shade over $231) I expected a power supply to be included. Not so, had to buy one separately after it arrived, which kinda took the shine off it a bit. Otherwise I’m happy with my purchase and would gladly recommend it to anyone in my situation.

I love this little vocal box, which is packed with functions. But the instruction manual barely touches on all the things it can do, or how best to use it. Once I understood how to use the pre-programmed settings, and what they did.

I was able to customize them for the individual songs we play, name them, and save them for later. Even in the order of the setlist! Super cool. The trickiest thing to make sound good are the pitch correct and harmonies.

the key is figuring out what KEY the song is in, as you really should set that for each individual song if you want the harmonies and PC to sound right. And what key is your song in? Well unless you now music theory and scales, that’s not easy to figure out.

But I found one site that has a whole list of popular SONG KEYS, though different people think the song is a different key. And another site that has a chart, so you can look at the notes/chords and figure out the key yourself.

Takes a little research, but now the box makes me sound WAY better! Love it!.

Yes its business Great little machine. Used on a gig for the first time today. Great using the three available favourite buttons and even created one of my own. Takes a little time using and learning the edit button.

Not used the loop yet as not really my thing but who knows. Great when practicing through heads and plugged into mixer. I have even practiced with the built in mic and harmonies function. Yes very pleased better than the blue boss unit which is still pretty good but now replaced with this one.

It’s a must to get yourself a electric adapter especially gigging but also handy to have batteries for emergencies. 10 out of 10 well done Boss.

I use Vocal Synth 2 on my Reaper DAW. I’m still just using the basic functions and having excellent results. I appreciate the many useful tutorials on all your products. (I own a few). VS2 had provided new inspirations in my songcrafting.

Though I consider myself a semi -professional recordist, I am a long time guitarist/songwriter with professional credits. I am also a 2X cancer survivor and have worked steadily throughout my treatments and subsequent remission.

This is a tremendously powerful plug in. If you are just going pop and hip hop, the presets will work in making you sound like everyone else. If you dig deep in to the engine. You have limitless possibilities for making interesting and creative vocal sounds.

I primarily record Alternative and Metal. Dont think for a second this plug in doesnt have a place in those genres. I do feel this is best used for enhancing background vocals. You can really bring them out without overpowering the mix.

There are definitely times and places to through this on the main vocals and make things weird. Overall, I think this is a must have in anyone’s arsenal.

I like it overall and can make good use of it. However, I couldn’t quite call it a “game changer” or so. I picked it up when it was on a great discount, so for the price I paid ($50) it’s worth it should you be on the look out for vocal processing plugins.

Gotta say though, it would have been really nice if they included a compressor or limiter as a module at the end of the chain. But considering that it could also have an interesting effect on other sounds like a synth or a guitar it’s surely a plugin you wanna be aware of.
